Exceptional crazy, amazing hosts
Great experience sailing on the Nile. We chose to sail on the Nile for a day and a half and we would have liked time to stop. Sunset and sunrise simply exceptional in a setting where we were alone in the world. We were accompanied by Tarik who is an exceptional navigator and Slimane who cooks the finest food from the boat. I can only recommend to everyone the services of these two people who will remain one of the most beautiful moments of my trip Egypt.

Magic
We took the 3 night felucca cruise from Aswan. We are a family with 2 children 8 and 10 years old and the grandmother was there.
The cruise was magical! The banks of the Nile, the rhythm in the sandstone of the wind... we were delighted to choose this option over a dahabieh that is always pulled by a loud tug! And let's not talk about the big cruise ships with the leu leu tail!
We ate very well, the cook is a real chef. Captain's a real pro and he's got a handle on his shit.
For a very sweet price, the experience was great.
Memories engraved forever. Thank you to the crew.

2 night Felucca
We had a fabulous 2night trip on the Felucca with Medo and Hamada. Both crew had amazing hospitality and cooking skills- the food was delicious. A very relaxing few days on the boat. Highly recommend!

A friendly, authentic and comfortable way to experience the Nile on a Felucca
We had a wonderful time on the boat captained by Midoo. Our chef Hamada prepared 3 delicious, authentic meals. We spent a full day relaxing, enjoying the views, and star gazing from the sun deck. Our night was comfortable and we found the boat to be clean. Bring layers as the temperature drops at night!

Felucca trip 2 nights
We had a felucca trip for 2 night , with achmed and Waleed. It was an amazing experience to sail the calm and beautiful Neil.
Achmed is a great cook and a very warm person to host the activity, together with Waleed. I would highly recommend this trip to anybody.

Mother and daughter adventure
We spent 3 nights on the magnificent JJ Jamaica felucca leaving Aswan to head to Edfu. I recommend this experience because it allows you to fully experience the true spirit of sailing on the Nile being a traditional Egyptian sailboat. Thanks to Ahmed and Ualid who accompanied us in these days, they adapted the program to our preferences, in case of need they were immediately available and professional. The food was great and plentiful, I am vegetarian and I ate very well and with variety. We found it comfortable to sleep on the mattresses that cover the lower floor of the boat, the bathroom while being essential performs its function and the upper deck allows you to enjoy the days in the sun with unforgettable sunrises and sunsets surrounded by a unique landscape. It is an experience I would repeat!

Serene felucca experience
We went on a two-day, one-night felucca trip from Aswan and it was an unforgettable experience! We sailed on the boat Merwaw, with an amazing crew—Yasin and Mohammed—who were not only helpful but also talented cooks! When we wanted to swim, they quickly anchored at a beautiful, quiet spot along the Nile for us to enjoy the calm waters. The boat was comfortable, and we especially appreciated having a toilet on board. What really made this experience stand out, though, was the peace and quiet. Unlike the motorized Nile cruises and dahabiyas, our felucca was silent, offering a truly tranquil atmosphere that enhanced the entire journey.
Although there were mosquitoes, we were provided with a mosquito net, which allowed for a restful night without any worries.

Captain Mitu and Ibrahim were wonderful
I absolutely agree with the other reviews that say this was their highlight of the trip to Egypt. I’m so glad I did not do a cruise which I did not want to at all. This was planned last minute after I had arrived in Cairo so I was unable to find a Dahayba—-and I’m so happy about that because it turns out they only sale for an hour of the day, and mostly are moved by a motor tugboat.
This was incredibly peaceful experience. The food was very good, and “all u can eat” — freshly prepared for the two of us each meal. I really appreciated the exposure to the Nubian culture.— the food is definitely better than Egyptian food!
The on-site bathroom is manageable and kept clean. Don’t think twice just book it!!
The only disappointment was afterwards with our onward car transfer to Luxor — which Captain JJ arranged for us last minute. Unfortunately, we ended up with a new driver they were testing who was very unprofessional. You should definitely make sure you arrange for a newer car with air conditioning! And a professional driver that doesn’t drive the entire time loudly talking on the phone!

They were very careful and cooked us delicious traditional Nubian meals!
If you have time during your stay, favor 2 nights in felucca rather than taking a cruise.
Their English is impeccable 👌.
