Описание
Abu Dabbab is one of the most famous dive sites in the Red Sea and of all of Egypt. It is one of the few places in the world where you can dive with the very rare and endangered Dugong aka the Sea Cow. In fact, there are two resident Dugongs in the Abu Dabbab bay named Dennis and Douglas. This dive site also features friendly giant Green Sea Turtles that you can swim with up close and personal. In the shallow water, it is not rare to spot the bizarre looking but completely harmless Guitar Shark.

We are today with canary tours Egypt to paradise island 🏝 we saw lots of dolphins 🐬 on our way we had lovely snorkelling with Omar our guide today we relax for 2 hours by the beach 🏖 really very good experience I recommend to anyone

Exceptional Service and Experience
Myself, my wife, my 12 year old son and 14 year old daughter have just had the most wonderful time courtesy of Canary Tours visiting Abu Dabbab (Turtle Bay) 2.5 hours south of Hurghada. We decided to take the private tour whereby we were collected from our hotel in a air conditioned mini bus. Our guide and host was Omar, an absolute gentleman, who was obviously experienced as a tour guide. We later discovered he had 18 years experience with guiding tourists. From collection to delivering us back to our Hotel nothing was too much trouble. During the 2.5 hour drive we stopped for a comfort break and coffee, which incidentally was the best coffee we have taken since arriving in Egypt. On arrival at Turtle Bay Omar showed us to our sun beds on the beach and positioned the beds to whether we wanted sun or shade, as said, nothing was too much trouble and attention to detail was most welcomed. Omar delivered a cool box with a selection of complimentary drinks, Orange, lemonade, cola or water, enough for all the family for the whole day! After we had settled in and appreciated the absolute beauty of the Natural Protected beach and coral reef, Omar suggested we take the mask, snorkel and fins that he provided for us all and take to the sea in search of the gentle turtles that feed there. What i especially liked and appreciated was that although we are all competent swimmers he insisted he took a flotation ring that he towed behind him so any of the party could use to have a rest whilst exploring the sea safari. This particular beach has the most wonderful reef running up both the left and right sides. We were advised to follow Omar up the left side and then traverse the bay to the right hand side reef to take advantage of the natural current. All I can say is Wow!! The reef is fantastic, with incredible sea life, every colour fish you could imagine, sting rays gliding past, lion fish hiding in the coral crevices, could it get better? Well yes, the main event was the turtles. Omar suggested we look where other people were waiting, waiting to see the turtles that feed on the bottom and we didn’t have to wait long until one ascended to take air. What an absolutely wonderful experience. The turtles glide up to the surface where they take on air without any hesitation from the humans awaiting to view them. We swam right next to them within touching distance, but of course we didn’t and wouldn’t touch these beautiful creatures, in fact it is forbidden, and rightly so. We used a GoPro camera to capture the moment. Whilst we swam next to the turtle Omar filmed the event. An absolutely wonderful moment that will stay with us forever. After returning to the sun beds Omar gave us the opportunity to revisit as many times as we pleased, and we did just that. For lunch we were taken to a restaurant for a buffet style meal, the food was very good where we spent around 45 minutes before returning to the beech for more turtle spotting and reef safari. May I add that the day was tailored around our swimming ability, when the children were a little tired Omar towed then on the floatation ring, a lovely gesture and touch. The reef has to be seen to be believed, it ranges from a few feet high to probably 30 feet plus, extending a long way with wondrous shapes and colours. Why go the Maldives when this delight is only 5 hours from home on the aeroplane and a further 2.5 hours by minibus? Many thanks to Omar and Canary Tours for one of the most memorable days of our life let alone our holiday. We can’t wait to return in the winter for round 2.

Amazing company - Amazing day - Amazing experience
We have booked 3 trips with Aladdin Darwish and Canary Tours Egypt after being recommended by another couple who had been with them before! Today we went on our first trip which was to see the sea turtles! It was incredible. The day was exactly as described, better even, it was perfect! We saw so much, swam with the turtles and ate good food. Aladdin and his team are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble, service is amazing and his knowledge is perfect. If you are unsure on doing any trips or trying to decide with who - Canary Tours Egypt is the best, most experienced and friendly! Thank you Aladdin and team, I’m really looking forward to the next trip.
