Amazing overdose on history
Khalid was outstanding. He put our previous guides to shame. We saw the best sights and had excellent depth of coverage. This tour was the highlight of the vacation.

Seriously the best tour!
Our two-day tour of Luxor's East and West Bank was SPECTACULAR. Hassan, our tour guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and set the perfect pace to help us both enjoy and maximize our time in the area. He shared quintessential history and insider stories about each of the sites we visited. Our minds and hearts were full beyond belief when we left!! Hassan is so easy to get along with, and we had a great time traveling with him through the Luxor region. We're excited for our friends to tour with him later this month, and would wholeheartedly recommended him and Luxor Travels to anyone who wants a superb experience of all that Egypt has to offer!

Amazing tour with room for improvement.
This was an awesome tour! Hassan was very knowledgeable and was very flexible with out trip. There were extra things we wanted to do and he helped us coordinate them. We couldn't recommend him more! The only downside was that we did the hot air ballon ride but we were the last ones to take off so we didnt catch the sunset. One thing that can be improved is to adjust the price so it includes all of the entrance fees. Not every place accepted cards and we werent prepared with all the cash.

Great guide and driver
Our guide Khalid was very knowledgeable, encouraged questions and urged us to take our time. Our driver Mohammed was always there with the A/C on and bought us water when he could see we were hot. They changed the timing of our second day so they could drop us at the station for a sleeper train to Cairo. I was suffering from a back complaint during the tour and they looked after me very well and made sure I saw as much as possible

Wonderful tour, very educational!!
Hassan was a wonderful tour guide. He was waiting for us at the airport and we promptly started our tour. Luxor is not as easy to travel around like Cairo is so I definitely recommended setting up a guide. Hassan knows the history of everything you’re going to see and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend him and will use him again next time I visit Luxor.

Yes, book it!
Hassan was the best tour guide ever! He was so accommodating & easy to hang out with, & he was also very animated in his stories. He did a really good job recreating the past when he showed us around Luxor. We had a group member that wasn’t feeling well, & he was so helpful to get him back to the hotel. We were fed, had waters, & we were also picked up from the airport to start the tour right away. Really, whatever we wanted, Hassan was good with, & it helped make the experience so relaxing & enjoyable. Part of the group I was with said they would never hire a tour guide, but afterward talked about how much they got out of it & enjoyed it. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend booking a tour with Hassan, I don’t think it could have possibly been better in any way.

Best tour/tour guide in luxor
The two day tour is perfect for those visiting Luxor for the first time! You get to see all the important historical sites split into two days. We were visiting in September and wanted to split it to not overdue it in the heat or get exhausted trying to see it all in one day. Khalid was our guide for both days and I could not praise him enough!!! From the start he was so professional and easy to understand. Day one Khalid was waiting for us in the lobby at the promised time and we were picked up in a spacious air conditioned van. We visited colossi of memnon, the valley of the kings and valley of the queens in the West Bank. He gave us such a amazing synopsis of the history behind it all and some cool stories you can’t read about in a textbook. Day two we visited Karnak temple and luxor temple in the east bank. My best way to explain my appreciation for Khalid’s knowledge is that he really brought the stones to life by providing us with such vivid details and explanations. If you are looking for a tour where you can see it all and learn about the ancient history this is the tour for you. Not once we’re we bored or felt like it was a history class, Khalid’s passion for the subject made it so much more interesting. I highly highly recommend this tour!!!

Exceptional 2 day tour of Luxor with Khalid
Khalid was an exceptional tour guide. Answered all of our questions and was beyond attentive. Our two days in Luxor were easy and well thought through. We saw all of the highlights and learned so much. Would definitely recommend Khalid and Luxor tours!
