Educational - Fun - Authentic

Ragab the guide was amazing along with my driver, Caleb. Both were incredibly welcoming upon meeting them and were more than accommodating to my request for a packed agenda. More importantly, I did not leave feeling like we rushed though anything. This 1:1 experience is truly the only way to see Luxor and Aswan. We were able to navigate around the large tour bus crowds where appropriate and stopped at some local spots to make the experience authentic and not just filled with tourist attractions. The most fantastic ad hoc event was on the way back to my hotel one evening. I am an avid horse lover which Caleb had noted from a previous conversation and he had asked if I wanted to stop at an annual community event (carnival-like but not cheesy) where locals bring their horses and have them dance and show to music. The hot air balloon is an absolute must see while in Luxor. If the weather prevails and you have an opportunity, I would say you will see few other views as astounding in your life. Admittedly, I will likely be disappointed going forward if I do a hot air balloon ride anywhere else. Finally, I would be remissed if I did not mention that I am a 35 year old American female traveling alone and I felt completely safe everywhere we went while in the company of these two gentlemen. I travel a lot and in today’s climate, I can absolutely say that is not always the case. All in all, this was an amazing experience (and I have left about 3 reviews in my entire life so take that for what it is worth).

Great day

Great day. Started with a hot air balloon ride that gave amazing views of the west bank. We then met our guide, Abdul, who was very passionate about ancient Egyptian history and this made everything we saw come to life and have so much more meaning than if we hadn't got a guide. One thing I particularly liked was that Abdul would give us information about what we were about to see and then gave us plenty of time to explore the area on our own and take photos. We stopped for lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the Nile where the food was really good. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to see both the west and east bank all in one day!

Magical experience

On Friday we had an incredible hot air balloon ride at sunrise overlooking the valley of the kings and the Nile. After this we were dropped off where our guide Abdul was waiting for us. I can't recommend Abdul enough, he was so knowledgable and was able to give us as much detail as we wanted. Lovely guy who is amazing at his job. It was an absolutely magical day with a very tasty lunch. Don't hestiate to book this tour and definitely ask if Abdul can be your tour guide!

Great experience for history buffs

Maged was a wonderful guide. He’s a true Egyptologist who’s pursuing his PhD in hieroglyphics. He always had the answers to our questions and made our visit in Luxor extremely educational.
