The cruise was amazaing. The rooms were very clean the only downfall was the shower was a little tight. the staff was friendly and professional they had excellent food and we where really pleased with our guide Shimaa Esmail she was so friendly and sweet and she explained everything in detail she was patient and gave us plenty of information and time to shop. This was a great experience definitely recommend it.

Our holiday experience started at the booking stage. Hany the tour operator was fantastic. I’m sure this man doesn’t sleep because he was very quick to reply to all of our enquires. The booking process was simple and the online payment process was very secure. Perhaps you will need to call your bank to authorise the payment but don’t worry about this, the payment process is safe and reliable. We arranged our transfer from Hurghada to Luxor through Hany, this was the best value for money and the driver and his friend were prompt and friendly. The car was immaculately clean and comfortable. The transfer from Hurghada to Luxor brings you across the desert until you reach the river Nile and you are met with the most beautifully lush landscape. We arrived at our boat ‘Farah’ at midday and our guide Mohammed was waiting to greet us. This is where the 5 star treatment began. Mohammed explained a little bit about what we would be doing over the next 4 days. We had arrived just in time for lunch so we checked into our cabin and headed to the restaurant. The food, staff and facilities on Farah were outstanding and we would highly recommend this cruise. The best feature of the boat is the sundeck!!! Day 1 - afternoon tour to Karnak and Luxor temples. Mohammed really knows his stuff, he had answers to most of our questions and was humble enough to tell us when he wasn’t sure about something. For us this is the sign of a great guide. Mohammed brought us to a papyrus institute where we got to see the process of making paper and we made sure to pick up a small souvenir to remember our time in Luxor. Day 2 - we were up early for a hot air balloon ride at sunrise. We highly recommend this and Hany can arrange this too. We were lucky enough to have a 45 min ride which took us across the Nile from the West Bank to the east bank landing in the desert. This trip was with sinbad balloons. Following this Mohammed and his driver were waiting for us near the valley of the kings for another unforgettable experience. We shared a coffee with Mohammed as he explained the history and significance of the site. After this we visit the tombs including the tombs of king Ramses V & VI which is worth paying the extra fee for. This day we also visited an alabaster craft shop where we learned how the local artisans work with the alabaster stone. Although you are not pressured to buy from these locations it is nice to bring a small momento and everything is handmade which makes it more special. Later that morning we visit the temple of Hatshepsut before returning to the boat for lunch and beginning our journey south. We spent the afternoon taking in the views of the banks of the Nile and enjoying the comfort of the sun deck. Day 3: After breakfast we met Mohammed at the reception of the boat for our morning tour. We were taken by horse and carriage to Edfu temple. Mohammed knew the most important points of interest and always gave us time to explore alone. We returned to the boat for lunch and set sail for Kom Ombu temple where we also visited the museum of crocodile mummies. Mohammed brought us for tea nearby the temple before returning for dinner on the boat. Day 4: we woke early for a visit to the old dam the high dam the unfinished obelisk and for a tour of Phailae temple which is accessible only by boat. This short boat ride in a very nice experience.On the way back to the cruise we stopped at a perfumery to learn about the process of making perfume and oils. In the afternoon we bid farewell to Mohammed and spent the rest of our time enjoying the sun deck. Day 5: our flight was early in the morning and Mohammed had arrange a private transfer for us which arrived on time and the guide brought us from the car to the check in and to security making the process swift and stress free. We would highly recommend this tour agency for many reasons - top quality service, hassle free booking, all inclusive rates, knowledgable guides and fantastic customer service. If booking you should request Mohammed as a guide. He not only knows his stuff he is also a great photographer and a lovely man. We look forward to returning some day soon.

This was an overall great experience. The visit to the temples and the hot air balloon was an amazing experience the cruise was amazing with beautiful views and very friendly staff. Our guide Shimaa was very knowledgeable and friendly overall a great experience.

I had a hard time trying to figure out what was the difference between the Nile river cruise options and the travel agencies that offered them. The prices were wildly different from one agency to the other. I thankfully found Hany and Luxor and Aswan travel. From the get go Hany was extremely helpful, honest and clear about my options. He helped me change the standard itinerary a bit. We had Shimaa Esmail as a guide. She was kind, knowledgeable and very patient with us. The tour was amazing! Everything was perfectly organized. People were always on time and everything that was promised was delivered. Please do not hesitate to contact them for your trip you will not be disappointed. Shimaa was very flexible with us, she took us to a few local restaurants so that we could experience the local food. Thank you Shimaa. We were on the Sun Boat IV by Sanctuary cruises. It was a very nice boat that was smaller and therefore more intimate experience . I will write a specific review for the boat later. Once again thank you Shimaa and Hany.

The hole trip was just perfect, we had great food, people from the cruise took a lot of care with us and our guide Yasser was AMAZING! Hani was the guy that arranged all the details and helped us during all our stay in Egypt, he was a truly magician making everything goes very smoothie!!!

This was the best experience ever at Egypt!!! Great cruise, amazing food and the BEST guide Yasser! Hani was out point of contact with the tourism company and he was just perfect guiding us and helping with everything! Recommend them a lot! If you come to Egypt, you MUST be with them!

We were hot and flustered on arrival in Luxor and met by our exceptional guide, Ahmed Megelly. We were swept into aircon, given icy water and from then on were pampered and cared for the entire 5 days. The organisation and administration of our agent, Hani is of the best my husband and I have experienced in our approx 45 years of travel. His attention to detail and willingness to take over the work of another agent of a different company's failed planning and sort out our itinerary within 4 hours. In so doing he saved our holiday. The trip on the Nile itself is of the highlights of our lives and will be cherished. The majestic temples, unique sights, care for our wellbeing and comfort on the Sun Godess can be recommended to all and sundry. Thanks to Ahmed we were always given opportunity to receive just enough information, kept in the shade, selecting the best views, spoiled with best drivers and he chose the best time of day for outings before we became weary. So, Hani, in our hearts and minds you were the hero of our travels in Egypt! Thank you

What an amazing trip! My friends and I had the best time!!! Our driver Abraham was so kind and made us feel very safe. Simon, our tour guide, was very accommodating and knowledgeable about Egyptian history- he was the best tour guide!! We really enjoyed the hot air balloon, highly recommend adding it on.

This was the best part of our travels in Egypt! The staff on board were very welcoming and helpful, but the part that made our trip, was our tour guide, Michael. Michael welcomed us at the airport (after waiting quite a while for our plane) and made us feel at home immediately. He is an Egyptology expert, so our tours of the ruins and temples were full of new learning. Michael made sure we knew how to navigate the markets and even had the chef make my favorite dish (Koshuri) on the ship! We have priceless memories now because of him. This experience is a must-do and you have to recommend Michael!
