Ramashka team were great, just say no to everyone trying to sell you things at every turn!
Both our driver Ahmed and our tour guide Said were brilliant. Professional, patient and clearly wanted us to have a really good time. Drinks on the bus were also really nice! Ahmed made sure we were the first bus to arrive from Hurghada and we were very glad for it because we really got ahead of the crowds. Said answered all our questions and was flexible with what exactly we were interested in seeing. He made good recommendations along the way.
Lunch was lovely, the food was authentic and served with smiles. Only drinks at lunch and the boat ride (optional) we're extra charge. A full, fun-packed day. Lots of water, suncream and hats recommended!
You will get hassled a lot to buy things and people will pretend to give you things for free (items, taking photos for you etc) and then ask for money in return after. Just be aware before you accept their offer that they will be expecting something in return.
The alabaster shop will also hike their prices for tourists. (£25-60 per item) for us. When we said no obviously the price dropped even from the discounted. We'd recommend just going with a budget of what you think it's worth and if it doesn't match, leave it :)

The most amazing day
This trip was amazing, super complete, super comfortable!
Ahmed the driver is the sweetest, concerned about everyone’s comfort and needs, super friendly and funny. Even stoped for one second to give everyone in the Bus some sugar cane from the plantations. Said the guide has great English and explains everything to amazing detail! Everything was just amazing, beautiful and safe. The trip in the Nile was great to cool of the hot Egyptian sun and sightseeing. Overall loved this day, I’m so glad I came

Trip to Luxor
We had a fabulous trip to Luxor yesterday. The pickup is early and it is a long day but definitely worth it. The Ramashka Team look after you well throughout the day. The itinerary is very well organised giving plenty of time to enjoy all the sights. Said was a very knowledgeable guide and passionate about ancient Egypt.

Tour not to be missed!!!
My wife, 9-year-old daughter and I have just concluded our day tour from Makadi to Luxor with Ramashka Tours. It was a beautiful experience, which I really recommend to everyone. Although Luxor deserves to be visited in 2 or 3 days given the wealth of archaeological sites present, thanks to our driver Ahmed Abdo we arrived very early (at about 8:30) at the Karnak temple, before all the other tourists arrived. This allowed us to calmly visit the temple and subsequent stops (Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hashepsut and Colossi of Memnon), as well as enjoy a good lunch on the banks of the Nile, take a mini cruise (optional and to be paid separately) from one bank of the river to the other and visit an alabaster craft factory. A special mention also deserves Mido, our guide in Italian, who was really good, very kind and professional (5 stars).

Excellent visit with this voyagust, not to be missed.
We had made the same trip with another operator and the service was poor.
With this operator, from start to finish, everything was perfect.
Minibus transport where we were only 2 families, unlimited water, guide, whole organization.
Air-conditioned bus with Wi-Fi and TV.
The driver Arhmed on top also warning us to be careful with street vendors.
You must book without hesitation with your eyes closed, nothing to fear.

A very interesting excursion
We basically liked the trip quite a bit. However, an insect repellent, such as a cappi, hat or parasol, should be taken. The temple is teeming with flies, which is very disturbing.
The guide who accompanied us was in German and also very competent.
Afterwards we went for lunch to a restaurant on the Nile where there was only a small buffet, which was not exactly hot but you could eat.
We were then taken by motorbot across the Nile, which we had to pay with 20 euros. Despite the telephone commitment when booking and paying 184 euros for 2 people it would all be included.
Since I have a disability card, I only had to pay a discounted entrance fee everywhere. The guide went to the counter with me every time but he did not want to give me back the difference between discounted and normal admission.
We then went to the Valley of the Kings. Unfortunately, time was so short that you could only rush through the 3 graves to see everything. Since it is very uneven, it is only conditional for people with limitations when running.
Afterwards we drove to another temple complex which was also very nice but also had only 30 minutes time here which was far too short.
Sadly we were approached everywhere, they tried to chat us up and forced us to buy something. Partly it went as far as that wanted to be seen in the wallet.
It was offered to take pictures or have something shown just to be able to demand money.
The alabaster house was really nice to look at in the end. Until then, it was recommended not to buy anything, as there would allegedly be a lot of garbage.
There were many nice things in the alabaster house and also quite expensive but it is all massive and also good quality.
Afterwards we went back to the hotel by bus again 4h.

Amazing tour, book it!
We loved this tour and so happy we found it!
First off, they stuck to the itinerary and were very punctual. Our driver Ahmed picked us up exactly at the said time. We forgot to bring a breakfast box from the hotel (since it's very early) but they were kind enough to give us croissants and had 5 water bottles for each couple. Ahmed our driver made sure he got us there early before the crowds got there which turned out to be really great. Said (our tour guide) was awesome. He is so knowledgeable, very patient, respectful and honest. We didn't feel pressured at all and he took care of us. We noticed other tour guides would talk and then let the groups roam the sites themselves, but Said walked us through everything and gave so much detail. We opted for the 40 min Nile boat ride which wasn't expensive at all (varies by # of people) and it's very pretty. Lunch was good, buffet style, authentic food....don't expect steak or anything gourmet. Other reviewers complained about the food, but I don't know what you expect on a southern egypt trip....food was perfectly fine.
Yes it's a long day, but the stops are well planned out and make for a beautiful day trip!
