Punctual pick-up and friendly, reliable driver(Chico).Our guide Malik spoke excellent German and introduced him comprehensively to the history of Ancient Egypt. The Hotel Steigenberger Luxor is very good, absolutely choose;-).

We arrived in Hurghada late on the 20th of March (Around 7pm) and I messaged Memnon Reisen after around 30 minutes for a tour to Luxor for the 21st (Which was really short notice from my side). The company went above and beyond and quickly got four of us booked in with an English guide for 5am the next morning, which was exceptional! The van itself was spacious, the drivers and guides were all wonderful and gave us plenty of time and support to see everything we wanted to do. They never once rushed us and let us take our time! (Even though Hurghada was 4 hours away). I fully recommend this company to everyone, they really are very professional and punctual too. It really was a wonderful experience and if we ever come Hurghada again, I will be using this company for all my travels! Thank You Memnon

On March 20th we took a day trip to Luxor. Just in time at 5.15am, we were picked up by two drivers from the Memnon agency in a minibus from our hotel in Sahl Hasheesh. We had booked a private tour and therefore had the minibus to ourselves.👍🏻The drivers immediately noticed that my brother was slightly physically impaired and were extremely helpful and caring when getting off and on. The trip to Luxor was already an experience for the eyes. First we went through the bare mountain area. The sun bathed the mountains and sand in a warm light. Just fantastic. Shortly before Luxor, the Nile Valley began. A dream. You dive into another world. Fertile fields, donkey carts, people in their typical national costume, countless tuck-tucks. Arriving in Luxor, our guide Naschaat boarded. He spoke perfect German. Our tour into the past began at the Karnak Temple. It was so impressive.........Afterwards we visited the museum in Luxor before going to the Nile for lunch. The atmosphere there (table in front row) indescribable. After we had strengthened, “our boat” docked. ( We had it to ourselves). A leisurely ride with coffee across the Nile was another highlight. But the best came to the end....... Visiting the Valley of the Kings and their burial chambers. Naschaat, with his knowledge and enthusiasm about Egyptian history, has made this tour an unforgettable experience. The booking process of the tours offered, as well as transfer from the airport to the hotel, takes place uncomplicated and reputable via WhatsApp. Booking confirmations always arrive immediately and payment is made on site. It's as good as it gets. Thanks again to the team of Memnon. We are already looking forward to next time.

First of all we are not on the road with Memnon for the first time and this is not an advertising review and we also get no commission..... What I write is our feelings... The first day on 26.03. into a kl. Group of 7 people.... Well we were picked up Saturday the 26th of March at 5:40 am on time and what we were even more pleased about was the driver we rode the other tours with. This makes everything a little easier and we were happy to see Akram again and he recognized us immediately. We arrived very well with a 10 min stop (toilet etc) on time in Luxor greeted us by the guide (the last time I write guide). The biggest surprise it was Malek and he recognized my wife (it took two years to meet again because of Corona). After the cordial welcome we started straight away, the Karnak Temple was our first port of call and what excited me is the knowledge of Malek (you can't upgrade the young with gold and he has the heart in the right place). He explained everything to us and also answered many questions. The nicest thing is that we were able to move freely through the temple later on, far away from mass tourism. The second stop was a Nile cruise followed by lunch (there is a drink of hops with pineapple 🍍 that is mega delicious) Now we went on towards the Valley of the Kings, Malek showed his knowledge and what can I say the impressions in the Valley of the Kings is simply indescribable. Since Malek had asked us if we wanted to enter the graves with a fee. We said the three public graves are enough. Well, now I'm upset that I didn't do that. Well then I have to go back to the Valley of the Kings... From the Valley of the Kings we went to the Terraces Temple of Hatchepsuit also there everything was explained to us by Malek. He also explained to us what happened there in 1997 and I liked that (the 62 tourists murdered must be honoured) When you hear that and you're on the ramp, you get some humility. All participants found this information very important and insightful. The Memnon colossus then concluded and the first day drew to a close. We said goodbye to the others and Akram and were then taken in a limousine to Steigenberger Resort Achti. We freshened up a bit and looked at the Nile panorama(unforgettable) Then we went by limousine through Luxor in an Egyptian restaurant and ended the evening comfortably. The second day was very private. The start was made by the Luxor Temple with its Sphinx Road (when it is finished I will walk this road once) Malek explained and showed us many things here too... You can’t really put this day into words, we got to know Luxor very differently. The kindness of the people in Luxor whether children or adults has already been impressive. We took a carriage ride and enjoyed this with a cup of sugar cane juice. Malek explained all this to us... We took only a few photos after the temple because we want to keep these impressions to ourselves in memory. But whoever this tour bay will know what we mean. The conclusion was a visit to Luxor's Souvenir Street, we were not approached here but could look and buy in peace. Before we were brought back to the hotel we had lunch with Malek.... We had a hard time saying goodbye but I'll see you again next year. Because the last sentence was the most beautiful: you come as a friend and go with a family.... The return journey was very pleasant and we had a lot of fun with the driver. So once Memnon always Memnon.....

We booked the private tour from Hurghada to Luxor on 16.3.2022 and were really thrilled. From Amr as a driver as well as Nasch, the guide in Luxor, who accompanied us incredibly knowledgeably and with a fine sense of humor in his explanations. Everything was very well organized and the two also had a knack for when to be where to avoid the large tourist crowds. Highly recommended!

This is our first time in Egypt and so we have no experience with excursions, land and people here. The choice to leave us on Memnon travels was golden. Our day trip (private guided tour) exceeded our expectations. Our driver was polite and very nice and on top of that the safest motorist I have ever met. In traffic conditions it was a masterpiece and very fast. As for our German-speaking guide, you can only give 5 stars here. AYMAN was very competent and spoke perfect German. He was able to answer all our questions very competently. He always led us from place to place in consultation with our driver. The Valley of the Kings was not too crowded and we could see and explore everything very relaxed. The highlight of the trip was the Karnak Temple. A must for every visitor to Luxor. I can only recommend Memnon Reisen as a travel partner. Whoever is lucky enough to have Ayman at their side as a private guide is both competent and helpful. We booked two trips, actually three, but for the snorkel trip, unfortunately the weather was too bad, too much wind. We did the quad safari in the morning, super organized and was fun. Guide Jeno was great. The second day trip went to Luxor in a small group. There were six of us. Communication and organization top again. The local guide Nasch speaks fluent German and has plenty of knowledge and answers to all questions, including current topics in Egypt. He is super keen to pass on his knowledge and you can tell he enjoys it. For the journey you have to expect 4 hours per route and take along food accordingly. We can only recommend Memnon Reisen. 👍😊

We have booked a tour to luxor (private) we can only recommend this. The driver (Ali) and the guide (Osama) were just great. Every question was answered and it was very relaxed and without sales tours. We would book again at any time and can only recommend this to anyone to choose memnonreisen. Just great.
