A dreamlike day in Cairo with Magdy
We booked the day trip from Hurghada to Cairo by plane through Memnon Reisen and can recommend this tour without reservation.
The day already started perfectly, we were picked up on time from our hotel and taken directly to the airport. There we were accompanied right up to the security check, so everything went completely uncomplicated and stress-free.
After our arrival in Cairo, we were warmly welcomed by our tour guide Magdy. Together we got into a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, where cold water and chilled cola were already waiting for us, a very pleasant touch in the high temperatures.
Our first item on the agenda was the Pyramids of Giza. Magdy impressed us from the beginning with his enormous knowledge. He explained everything in detail, clearly, and with a lot of enthusiasm, without ever becoming boring. He always took time for questions and answered them competently and patiently. We found it particularly positive that he always led us to the best photo spots and made sure that we had enough time for our own explorations and photos.
Afterward, we visited a traditional Egyptian restaurant. The food was excellent, and Magdy explained the individual specialties to us in advance so that we could get to know Egyptian cuisine even better. The restaurant owners were also extremely friendly and ensured a pleasant atmosphere.
After that, we continued on to the museum. Here, too, Magdy's extraordinary expertise was evident. He conveyed the history and background of the exhibits in an exciting and vivid way that kept our interest piqued throughout. You never felt like you were being overloaded with information; on the contrary: His explanations made us want to learn even more about the fascinating history of Egypt.
At our request, we then took a boat trip on the Nile. Even during this trip, Magdy knew interesting stories and information about almost every building and every sight along the shore.
To conclude, we also visited the old town of Cairo. Thanks to Magdy, we felt safe and well taken care of there at all times. His friendly and helpful manner made the entire day especially pleasant.
The return trip was also excellently organized. We were taken to the airport and Magdy even accompanied us into the airport building. After landing in Hurghada, the transfer back to the hotel was already waiting for us.
Our conclusion: This tour was perfectly organized from start to finish. Every wish was practically read from our lips, and we were able to enjoy the day completely relaxed. A very special praise goes to our tour guide Magdy. His expertise, his friendly manner, and his excellent German made this excursion an unforgettable experience.

An unforgettable excursion
We booked our private day trip to Cairo through Memnon Reisen and can really recommend this tour without reservation.
We would especially like to highlight our tour guide Markus; he was simply outstanding! You can tell immediately that he is passionate about his job. He possesses an incredibly vast amount of knowledge, was able to answer every one of our questions immediately, and explained everything in an exciting and understandable way. At the same time, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodated our wishes at all times. We felt in the best of hands the entire day.
If all tour guides at Memnon Reisen are like Markus, we will book with them again anytime!
Our drivers also deserve a big compliment. They were very friendly, right back there after every stop, and provided us with cold drinks all day long. The entire service was exceptionally attentive and we felt at all times that our well-being was the top priority.
The tour schedule was perfectly organized. In the morning, we were picked up on time at our hotel and then drove to Cairo with our drivers, where Markus joined us.
From there, we went straight to the pyramids. We found the new hop-on hop-off buses within the pyramid area to be particularly positive. This made the paths between the individual pyramids much more pleasant and relaxed than expected.
Another big plus was Markus's experience on-site. Thanks to him, we were not pressured by vendors at all and were able to enjoy the impressive atmosphere in complete peace. He even gave us the choice of whether he should accompany us or if we would prefer to explore the grounds on our own. We decided that he should come along, and that was definitely the right decision. He told us an incredible amount of interesting information, drew our attention to details, and explained backgrounds that we would never have learned on our own.
Afterwards, at our request, we went to lunch first. The restaurant was excellent and the food very delicious. We can especially recommend the freshly squeezed juices.
After that, we went to the museum. There, too, Markus adjusted perfectly to us again and first asked at what pace we would like to view the exhibition. This made the tour very relaxed and individual.
His explanations were exciting, informative, and lively from beginning to end. No matter what question we had, Markus immediately knew an answer and was able to convey his knowledge in an understandable way and with a lot of enthusiasm.
Overall, this excursion was one of the absolute highlights of our vacation. The perfect organization, the warm drivers, the excellent service, and above all our great tour guide Markus made this day unforgettable.

Private excursion to the pyramids and Cairo
We booked this trip as a family of four. It is more than recommendable, top-organized, and was all in all a very pleasant and interesting day. Our tour guide Essam led us through the day and accommodated every request on our part. He knows what he is talking about and explained the history to us in a really super interesting way.
The excursion is truly unforgettable and worth every cent.

Super tour
It was a super day from start to finish; we had a very long drive to Cairo, had 3 top drivers who were considerate of everything, and our tour guide had super knowledge about everything and spoke top-notch German.

Unforgettable experience, 100% recommendation
The excursion was sensational, the driver and the guide were super. Communication with the provider Memnon Reisen via WhatsApp was totally relaxed and precise.
After being picked up in Makadi Bay just before 1 a.m., we went by minibus to Cairo, directly to the pyramids, then to the new Egyptian Museum, and afterwards for lunch.
We were back around 8 p.m.
There were three of us, and the space in the minibus was accordingly relaxed. In addition, there was a breakfast package and free, chilled drinks on the bus the whole time.
Nevertheless, the excursion is naturally exhausting just because of the duration.
The excursion is absolutely recommended!
Have been to Egypt so many times, should have done it much earlier.

Super organized excursion
The excursion (Cairo, Sphinx, new museum, Nile boat trip, bazaar and old town) was super!! Communication via WhatsApp beforehand (deposit & flight tickets) worked well. Everyone was there on time and took great care of us. The guide not only knew everything about the time of the pharaohs but could also tell us about today's Cairo. All around a wonderful, successful excursion - compliment, we liked it very, very much, thank you very much.
