We did a private tour from Hurghada to Cairo (including Egyptian Museum, Pyramids, Sphinx) on 30.12.21 for two and were super satisfied. The tour was perfectly organized (all dates agreed via WhatsApp) and we were picked up on time at 2:30 a.m. by our driver at the hotel. The car was quite new, with climate and top maintained. The ride went smoothly and we felt safe all the time, even in the traffic chaos of Cairo. In Cairo, the German-speaking tour guide joined us, who guided us through the Egyptian Museum and explained all the exhibits worth seeing. In the end, we didn’t have the impression of missing anything. Without a guided tour, the museum is not recommended, as most showcases are not labeled. After lunch we went to the pyramids and the sphinx where we were told the respective story and then could see the surroundings on our own. Our driver then drove us to a hill near the pyramids, from where there was a great view of all 3 big pyramids. Afterwards we went back to Hurghada, where we arrived at the hotel around 8:30 p.m. The tour was long and exhausting due to the long driving times, but was more than worth it with the great impressions. Both our driver Michael and our tour guide Adel were very nice and treated us very well. Payment for the tour was made directly to the tour guide in cash, either in euros, USD or Egyptian pounds. We would definitely book again with the provider and can recommend the trip without restriction.

In the two weeks in Egypt we booked several trips over Memnon trips! From A-Z we felt safe, the drivers were on time and the tour guides courteous and competent. We could fully enjoy the excursions to Luxor and Cairo and can highly recommend Memnonreisen!

The organizer gets 5 ⭐️ from us, everything is well organized, the communication always gets a prompt response. Especially Ali our driver in Hurgada drove us 2 days before the trip to the ATM because the one in the hotel did not work. Ali is very friendly, punctual and also has very good tips, his German is also very good. In Cairo we were welcomed by nobility our Egyptologist who told us a lot about Cairo on the way to the pyramids. At the pyramids we had to wait a little longer because they were still closed. Since we were so early we were the only ones😊 Dreamlike, no sellers, camel drivers and also taking pictures without other people in the picture. Afterwards, through the terrible traffic (eyes closed and through) to the Egyptian Museum here too, the culture and the country were brought closer to us by nobility. At a delicious lunch directly on the Nile we were able to recover very well. Then to the Coptic quarter which is also very worth seeing. Unfortunately, the time in Cairo was much too short, next time we have to schedule 2 days.

We stayed with the German speaking tour guide Yasser in Luxor, it was great! We are 100% at peace and have nothing to complain about. (Except that it was very, but nobody can help it☀️) Our guide was very informed and spoke very good German. We weren't on annoying bazaars like I've seen in other tours. He always asked us how long we wanted to stay, and adjusted everything according to our wishes. Lunch was also very good. I didn't eat the salad because I'm generally paying attention here in Egypt, but had no stomach pain after eating it was very fresh and it even fb a dessert.:) Yasser took us many beautiful souvenir photos with my phone, we will not forget the magical day in Luxor anymore ✨ thank you!

Not the cheapest trips but well organized and definitely worth it. We went to see Cairo and Luxor on two private trips. The drivers were nice and the personal tour guides told us many interesting stories. The people from Memnon are professional and very kind, I would definitely travel with them again.

We were picked up at our hotel in Hurghada on time at 3am. Our driver was great, very friendly and pleasant driving style! Once in Cairo, our group of 7 people met Markus, an Egyptologist. Markus led us extensively through the Egyptian Museum and could answer all questions with a lot of knowledge! Further through Cairo we did not just drive like this, but also explained a lot! The restaurant where we were eating was already within sight of the pyramids, a very nice panorama, it was well maintained, clean and the food was very delicious! As was not to be expected, Markus explained the pyramids and everything you need to know, with him as a guide we were very flexible, we could often decide for ourselves whether we want to stay longer in the respective place or drive further. The flexibility allowed us that Markus showed us a small papyrus company in which we could gain an insight into the origin! It was just fantastic! Also our driver was great, he had no problems with any away or did not seem annoyed when we would have needed longer for one or the other thing and we were therefore only almost 8 pm back at our hotel! It was just fantastic, thanks to Markus and the team!

We were looking for an alternative to ITS's comparatively very expensive offer, as we wanted to see Luxor so badly but didn't spend a lot on it. When I came across Memno’s travels on the internet, you were immediately sympathetic 👍 I received a response to my request within 5 minutes and was able to book the trip very individually even at a late hour. You showed a lot of patience in clarifying all the questions and changes to the scope of the trip with us, which led to us having a wonderful day at the end, which could not have been better. The transfer was on time and picked us up at the hotel. The guide was great, he had a lot of expertise and also graphics to make this understandable and to illustrate, he always took care of us no matter if we were looking for toilets or were thirsty he was always on hand and met all needs to the fullest satisfaction. He also gave us tips on how best to move through crowds of sellers, which turned out to be very convenient. The Nile trip to the restaurant I can also only recommend to book additionally. It is a quiet drive of about 35 min. On which you can also be supplied with fruit and drinks, but above all enjoy the view, it offers the opportunity not only to explain the local features but also to ask the guide general questions about the culture and e.g. the life of Egypt today as well as school systems, politics, religion, food procurement and cultivation, ecology, etc. This opportunity really should not be missed for the small extra charge if you book the tour out of interest to learn something. Lunch was held on the roof terrace of a small restaurant on the Nile, there were a total of 4 courses consisting of salads, soup, meat + rice and a dessert, all prepared according to tradition and very tasty. When we had then visited the temple and the tombs all, we headed home but our guide still had a little surprise in store, we stopped for a photo stop about 10 minutes at an additional sight and, as with all others before, got a lot of information about it to be able to better imagine it. 😌😁 So all in all, I can recommend it to everyone, we will definitely book as much as possible here in the future and will no longer let travel agents pull us over the table.
