Around 5:30 a.m. we take a short break in a restaurant. We arrive in Cairo around 8 a.m. and first take a small city tour of old Cairo so that you can get to know real life in Egypt better. Then we visit the Egyptian Museum, the treasury of 7000 years of civilization. Fabulous excursion from Soma Bay to Cairo. Our guide Jakob was very nice and told us a lot about Cairo, the Egyptian museum, the pyramids and the old town. Jakob speaks super German. An all-round worthwhile excursion.

We booked a private excursion from Makadi Bay to the Giza and Cairo pyramids. Our driver was super punctual and very friendly. He drove very safely and very decently. The whole trip we felt very well looked after. In Cairo and Giza we had a super Egyptologist on our hands. He told us all about the history of the pharaohs and guided us well through the tourist highlands. That means that he only reflected on the trip with us and also literally kept all of us sellers away. In Cairo we had a great lunch, we did not eat as well the whole holiday as there. We'd only book Memnon trips. No hidden costs and everything as stated. All super punctual and reliable. Thanks again to Aladdin and Chico our Egyptologist and driver. That was the best day of this holiday!

However, our biggest thanks go to our guide Adel, who always knew an answer to every single question, no matter how complex or even personal. It's hard to believe he's Egyptian, as he speaks perfect German. An absolutely likeable man and the best guide we have ever had on our countless excursions in our lives! We made a great day trip to Cairo and the pyramids yesterday. The contact and booking went super uncomplicated via Whatsapp, it was answered very quickly and all questions answered in detail. We were picked up on time, everything was great organized. The two drivers (extra for two so they can take turns) were nice and drove very well, we always felt safe. Air-conditioned minibus, Coke/Fanta and water were included. Arriving in Cairo we were greeted by our German speaking guide Markus. Such a sympathetic and friendly man, we were thrilled 😀 At the Egyptian Museum he provided us with very interesting information and has always responded to us individually, asked what interests us and if we want to hear more or if we are already done. So you could have shortened or extended your stay quite flexibly. Afterwards we took a short boat trip on the Nile and afterwards we went to the pyramids. There we were thrilled again how well everything went. Markus fetched the tickets while we took a toilet and shade break. Afterwards Markus led us to the pyramids and we got great and exciting information about pyramid building etc. He also took many photos of us, always showed us particularly good angles and photo subjects. We just had a lot of fun together. Then we went to a viewpoint with panoramic views, where you could have ridden camels. The Sphinx then crowned the end of our trip. Lunch was served in a restaurant with many delicious Egyptian starters and main courses. Again, we were asked in advance by Mark whether we wanted to go to the pyramids first or eat first. So the whole process is really customizable, which was great. After dinner we went back to the bus and we started a long drive home. The many hours in the car and getting up early were definitely worth it, it was a great day. We can only recommend Memnon Reisen, very great organizer! Thumbs up and a special thanks to Markus😃👍

The booking request in advance true very straightforward. I communicated via Whats app and it was always answered promptly. In a car, it started at 1:30 a.m. at my hotel in Hurghada. The driver drove great and safe. We met my guide Aladin in Cairo. He's just an original and I couldn't have asked for a better Cairo guide. Overall everything was well organized and it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much! Highly recommended!

We booked a private day trip by plane from Hurghada to Cairo via MEMNON trips. We were contacted via Whatsapp by OSMAN, who organized everything great. Payment was made 1/2 on the day of booking and then the rest still on the day of excursion "all in cash". Arriving in Cairo at the airport, we were accompanied by the German speaking tour guide and Egyptologist ADEL and his driver ACHMET. Our wishes and questions were addressed. Hello everyone, we have booked a private guided tour to Cairo, visit pyramids, sphinx and museum. Our driver picked us up in Makadi Bay on time. Even without German knowledge we got along great. He was funny, super friendly and well versed which made us arrive in Cairo earlier than we thought. There we met our guide, who was also very sympathetic to us from the first second. We made a little tour through Cairo towards the pyramids. He told us a lot about the city, showed us the most important places. It was very interesting to see how the locals live away from all the tourist areas. Our guide has always given us enough time to explore all our destinations independently. Before and after the private time at the sights he provided us with very exciting information throughout. At the pyramids we had enough time to take many beautiful photos, explore everything and even take a little camel ride. Then we went straight to the Sphinx which is not far away and afterwards we had a delicious lunch from the buffet. Finally, we visited the museum, where the treasures of Tutankhamun are displayed. We really enjoyed the day and can recommend this tour to anyone.

Great trip! The driver drove very safely, even in the biggest traffic chaos in Cairo. The guide was able to tell us a lot, he spoke very good German, we learned a lot. Driver and guide had a lot of patience with my physically disabled son. The guide always took us to the best places so that we could see everything well without having to climb over large crowds or over rubble. I made the trip to love my son, who always wanted to see the pyramids. I didn’t think I would find this trip so interesting and exciting myself.

An absolutely brilliant trip. Our guide was TOP. We had plenty of time everywhere. The guide has adapted to us. We were even able to enter the pyramids and take our time. Nobody rushed and there was no unnecessary sales event at the Papyrus Museum or anything like that!

Day tour with flight from Hurghada, great team, the guide (Markus) was a lexicon on two legs what he knew was phenomenal as well as the tour itself. The driver is confident in Cairo traffic, lunch a feast for the palate and the highlight, the museum and of course the pyramids with the Sphinx a dream. Top organization, anytime we will book a tour again at Memnon Reisen!
