The Cairo Tower (Egyptian Arabic: برج القاهرة, Borg El-Qāhira) is a free-standing concrete tower in Cairo, Egypt. At 187 m (614 ft), it was the tallest structure in Egypt for 37 years until 1998, when it was surpassed by the Suez Canal overhead powerline crossing. It was the tallest structure in North Africa for 21 years until 1982 when it was surpassed by the Nador transmitter in Morocco. It was the tallest structure in Africa for one year until 1962 when it was surpassed by Sentech Tower in South Africa.
The Qasr el Nil Bridge (originally named Khedive Ismail Bridge, Egyptian Arabic: Asr el Nil Bridge), is a historic swing bridge structure dating from 1931 which replaced the first bridge to span the Nile River in central Cairo, Egypt.[2] It connects Tahrir Square in Downtown Cairo on the east bank of the river, to the southern end of Gezira/Zamalek Island. At the bridge's east and west approaches are four large bronze lion statues; they are late 19th-century works by Henri Alfred Jacquemart, a French sculptor and animalier.
The 6th October Bridge (Arabic: كوبري 6 أكتوبر, Kubri 6(sadis) uktubar) is an elevated highway in central Cairo, Egypt. The 20.5-kilometre (12.7 mi) bridge and causeway crosses the Nile twice from the west bank suburbs, east through Gezira Island to Downtown Cairo, and on to connect the city to other highways that lead to the Cairo International Airport to the east. Its name commemorates the date of 'The Crossing', which commenced the outbreak day of the Yom Kippur War in 1973.
Zamalek (Arabic: الزمالك pronounced [ez.zæˈmæːlek], al zamalek) is a qism (ward) within the West District (hayy gharb) in the Western Area of Cairo, Egypt.[1] It is an affluent man-made island that geologically is part of the west bank of the Nile River, with the bahr al-a'ma (Blind Canal) cut during the second half of the 19th Century to separate it from the west bank proper.[2] The northern third has been developed into a residential area, which was home to 14,946 people during the 2017 census.[3] The southern two-thirds are mostly sports grounds and public gardens, a stark green reserve in the middle of Cairo. The island is connected with the river banks by four bridges: the Qasr El Nil Bridge, the Galaa Bridge, the 15 May Bridge, and the 6th October Bridge.
The opera house was inaugurated on 10 October 1988. The funds for the complex were a gift from the nation of Japan to Egypt as a result of President Hosni Mubarak's visit to Japan in April 1983. Construction began in May 1985 and lasted for three years.[1] In October 1988, President Mubarak and Prince Tomohito of Mikasa, the younger brother of the Japanese Emperor, inaugurated the National Cultural Centre Cairo Opera House. It was the first time for Japan to stage a Kabuki show, a traditional popular drama with singing and dancing, in Africa or the Arab World.
The idea of establishing Al Ahly came in the first 10 years of the 20th century and was first raised by Omar Lotfy who was a student in the Egyptian Law School during his presidency of the High School Students Club, which was established in 1905. The establishment of a club for high school students was for political reasons, and the students needed a sports club to gather them for leisure and exercise.

Great Experience, the boat ride on the nile was great.. 100% recommend, food looked good as well (but optional). Standard drinks (juice, coffee, tea, water) free unlimited refills but waiter service can be slow or they can forget (just let them know again if that happens). I recommend it though nonetheless

Very good service throughout. Great music. Quite relaxing. Recommend to try it. Staff were helpful and we all got fresh juice/ hot drink of our choosing complimentary twice.

Excellent, everything has planned, the driver always on time, very kind, a car very clean The dinner at revolving restaurant in Hilton hotel , not including in the tour price , a excellent service in a tower where we can see the view of all Cairo city

What crooks! First I make a reservation and the day before they tell me that they had to cancel it. Told me to ask for a refund for my trip and rebook for the same date and time with a coupon code. Did all that. Rebooked the same date and everything. They sent me a confirmation email with directions to a meeting place. We went to Seagulls like they instructed us and the boat wasn’t there. It was never there they said. So without internet and no way to WhatsApp them we stayed at Seagulls. They managed to put all nine of us on a boat, cruise the Nile, and served us a delicious meal. I would never recommend you use the first company again. But I highly recommend Seagulls in Giza!

A nice little night cruise with a team with little care. A warm atmosphere (saxophone drums). Good experience. To be expected: a sweater because there is a lot of wind.

An amazing experience, the river views are beautiful, the boat is a cute, it looks very modern. In the end they did a very nice show with music and people who played and cheered.

We reserved for the drinks only cruise, but when we arrived a bit early and hungry we paid for the dinner upgrade, no problem. The temperature was perfect, around 74 degrees F and a 10 mph wind from the north. The boat was around 100 feet and very comfortable. It had toilet facilities, which my wife used first thing. The dinner patrons were seated on the upper deck. We left the tie-up around 9:30pm. There was no alcohol on board, which was okay. The fruit drinks were made fresh, mango, strawberry or orange; delicious. There were also coffee drinks and mock-cocktails available. Dinner was very good. We had chicken and rice with chopped vegetables, pita bread and hummus. Music was a bit loud at first, but during dinner and after it was nice, light jazzy rock, mostly Egyptian. We were one of the largest boats out that magic night. The changing scenery was delightful, passing many restaurants and board-walks. You could tell many wish they were onboard. The desserts topped off the evening with a live African type drum and saxophonist adding their talents to background music. As we came closer to the tie-up restaurant goers on the shore brought out their smart phones to catch the two musicians and the delighted cruise patrons finish up our magic night! We will definitely do this again next time we visit Cairo! The crew was very professional and dressed to impress!
