A full day tour to Alexandria from Cairo, including a visit to the main landmark of this city like Roman Amphitheatre, Kom El Shoqafa, Pombay Pillar, Alexandria Library and from outside the Quitbay Citadel and Abou El Abbas Mosque. Alexandria is considered the second main city in Egypt overlooking the Mediterranean sea and is called Pearl of the Mediterranean sea.

Pick up from your hotel in Giza at 7:00 and transfer to Alexandria pearl of the Mediterranean Sea. Visit Kom el Shoqafa, Tomb to a Roman burial site. This tomb reveals joint Egyptian and Roman architecture where you can descend down to visit the tomb and Caracalla Hall.

Alexandria on the Med
My tour guide Emad and our driver Ahmed were courteous and informative throughout the day long tour. The trip from Cairo to Alexandra was in a cool, comfortable van. Emad was very informative and explained the day’s itinerary, and the history of Alexandria through the ages. Seeing the Mediterranean as we headed into Alexandria was amazing after touring the Giza plateau in the desert the day before. The new library of Alexandria, the Catacombs of Komel Shoqata, 4th century Roman Amphitheater, and Citadel of Qaitbay were all fabulous. Great tour.

Alexandria Tour
That is a hard one to answer as it was all great. If I had to pick one I would say the catacombs. The amphitheater was also awesome. To walk among the home and villa thinking about what life was like at the time. Emad and Anwar did a fantastic job

Amazing day-trip to Alexandria, highly recommended!
We booked a day trip to Alexandria last minute during our stay in Cairo and Deluxe Travel Egypt didn't disappoint! The process was seamless and super easy. Our tour guide Emad was the best, very knowledgeable and patient with all our photo taking. He customized and prioritized the tour based on our needs, starting at the Library of Alexandria and ending at the Citadel. We finished the day with a delicious lunch at Fish Market which had spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and fresh seafood, overall the perfect way to finish our day in Alexandria. An enjoyable ride to Alexandria from cairo
Travelling back in time to revisit history and culture of ancient Egypt at tombs with passionate narrative by our friendly Guide Emad was fascinating. Great time at Alexandria Day
We did the day trip to Alexandria and had a great time with our tour guide Mahmoud badr. He was very knowledgeable about the stops (including the catacombs and Pompeii’s tower) and shared with us stories about the history of Alexandria and Egypt. This was great for us because it gave us enough background to understand the significance of what we were seeing without being overwhelming. I felt like it was a good use of time and recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Alexandria, especially first time visitors.
