Beginning with a pickup from your hotel or another designated place in Cairo or Giza between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, we will be boarding a comfortable air-conditioned car for a pleasant 100-minute journey to the Wadi El Rayan Desert following a photo stop at Qarun Lake, considered the oldest natural lake in the world.
Continuing the journey, you shall experience the exhilaration of a desert adventure. After boarding the 4X4 car for a dune drive adventure, enjoy the thrill of gliding over yellow, soft sand before stopping to enjoy sandboarding. Next, you visit the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls and have the chance to admire the stunning views in the center of the desert. You also have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride or horse ride along the banks of Wadi El Rayan Lake. If you're lucky, you could see some desert animals, such as the slender-horned gazelle, before stopping to photograph the stunning Mudawara Mountains for panoramic views of Wadi El Rayan Lake. This was hands-down the best thing I did while in Cairo! It's a bit of a drive (90 mins) to get out there but my guide, Ramy, was amazing and provided great conversation (with good English!) and drinks/snacks while we drove and definitely worth the drive. When we arrived at the campsite, we first did some dune driving with a 4x4 (great fun!) Before visiting a waterfall near the camp. The waterfall is breathtaking - I definitely recommend going in and experiencing it! Ramy told me about how the water changes colour over time and it was super cool to see as the day went on! My favourite part of the tour was definitely the sand sledging/surfing - my tour guide was a fantastic camera and video man and grabbed some amazing shots of me going down! The lunch that was provided was some excellent BBQ chicken before heading back. I can't stress enough how helpful, insightful and just amazingly fun all the tour guides were on this trip. It honestly felt like a group of mates going out to have fun in the desert which was the perfect experience for me. I felt safe the entire time - everyone was clear on the safety checks in the cars/by the rocks and still very open and flexible if we wanted to stay longer/go somewhere else. This trip was easily my highlight of Cairo and I have so many wonderful photos and videos I am sure I will look back fondly on. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience - worth every penny!

We had a wonderful time during our trip to the Faiyum Oasis! It's a once in a lifetime experience coming from the United States. Our guide Fares was amazing. He gave us a bunch of history about Cairo during our long drive to the desert, took wonderful photos of the experience, was fun to conversate with, and answered all of our questions. The entire day was great!

My favorite part of the trip was the view from ElModawra Mountain! Aswany was awesome! He was sooo friendly and knowledgeable! The BBQ lunch was delicious! It was such an experience and would recommend to anyone!

Our guide, Aswany, picked us up at our air BnB and drove us out to the desert where we had AMAZING views overlooking lakes, and sand dunes. We swam in “Magic Lake”. And had a DELICIOUS lunch! Aswany was very informative and friendly and made the trip that much more special. This was a very UNIQUE experience!

Incredible!! Ahmed Zaki was our guide. He showed up on time, made us feel comfortable and safe and was very informative. They picked us up drove us to a special location where we were surrounded by sand dunes, magical lakes, friendly people and a really cool 4x4 experience. Sand-boarding was fun and they prepared a delicious BBQ. Also drove us through the middle of the desert up and down these sand dunes in a luxurious Landcruiser, should be called Sandcruiser . It was exhilarating. Khalid was our driver from and back to the hotel. Thank you

We did the tour with the driver Ahmed and the guide Fadi. It was a very great trip, they were both very nice and very funny. Thanks to Fadi, who informed us the day before to put on bathing gowns, we could go swimming in the lake. The highlight was the trip to the round mountain and the driving skills of Ali. The food was excellent. We would recommend the tour at any time and book it again with them.
