Beginning with a pickup from your hotel or another designated place in Cairo or Giza between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, we will be boarding a comfortable air-conditioned car for a pleasant 100-minute journey to the Wadi El Rayan Desert following a photo stop at Qarun Lake, considered the oldest natural lake in the world.
Continuing the journey, you shall experience the exhilaration of a desert adventure. After boarding the 4X4 car for a dune drive adventure, enjoy the thrill of gliding over yellow, soft sand before stopping to enjoy sandboarding. Next, you visit the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls and have the chance to admire the stunning views in the center of the desert. You also have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride or horse ride along the banks of Wadi El Rayan Lake. If you're lucky, you could see some desert animals, such as the slender-horned gazelle, before stopping to photograph the stunning Mudawara Mountains for panoramic views of Wadi El Rayan Lake. We had a very lovely tour. The car ride to the place was very well organised, there were even little snacks in the car and we got some delicious coffee. The tourguide, Ramy Afifi, gave us a lot of information about the place. He also took some very beautiful professional pictures of us. The sandsurfing, camelride and the bbq were so much fun. You really get your money's worth, we had an amazing day. 10/10 recommend.

Let’s be honest, the itinerary for this trip is absolutely incredible. It’s well-paced, balanced, and outrageously fun. But that’s by design. Anyone could lead this trip and it be great. The thing that made it awesome was my guide Rayn. He was so personable, quick-witted, polite, and appreciative. He as a person really accentuated this trip and took it to the next level. I had more fun doing this than going around the great Pyramids. The sand surfing was challenging, the swim in the Magic Lake refreshing, and every other little piece fell perfectly into place. If you’re looking for a little adventure off the beaten path in the middle of the desert, this trip is for you. Hopefully you wind up with Rayn as your guide to make it even better.

Excellent tour, it has exciting activities, in a completely natural environment, and you know a little about how the Bedouins live in their camp. The delicious lunch, the excellent guide, I highly recommend it!

We went out with Amir and our local Bedouin guide Ali. We couldn’t have asked for a better day in the desert. Ali is the best DJ. While we didn’t understand the words to his music it was a whole vibe. Amir was so kind and willing to answer any/all questions we had. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the desert and get out of the city for the day!

Had the most awesome day ever, this experience changed my life! My guide Rayn was the best, he really has the most upbeat vibes and we shared some memorable moments together in the Egypt Desert! Our driver was son funny, he was so kind to introduce us to the local lifestyle of the Bedouins in the desert! I will come back with friends and family soon for another go!

The experience was awesome, very exciting and interesting. Visited lot of places in the desert south of Cairo. Our guide Hany was the best, very kind and well prepared, he took us around interesting places. Also the customer care Aya has been kind and gave us support since the beginning.

Amazing !!! This tour was absolutely stunning . The veiws , the culture, the people, and the food . Every tourist that wants to really see Egypt needs to book this tour . It has everything that we wanted . The Sahara , camel riding , horse riding, boat riding , 4x4 in the Sahara . Words cannot describe it . Me and my family came from United States to see Egypt and this was exactly what we wanted . The Egyptian people are amazing , kind friendly and generous. Some previous reviews we read before as we were planning our family summer vacation mentioned people asking for tips and cat calling . We gave tips and actually had a lot of people refuse to accept tips . My wife was treated with so much respect . We never experienced any of those negative issues on our trip . We actually have good tips to the people because they showed us so much love from their hearts . This was an amazing getaway from the usual Cairo sights! It was simply amazing. Our guide “Z” was attentive and ensured we had the best experience. We were able to swim in the Magic lake”, ascend a mesa, dune bash (4x4), sand board down the slopes and finally eat a delicious meal at a native camp. Plenty of water was available to us at all times.
