We've had all kind of meals - traditional breakfast, lunch, dinner dishes, deserts and drinks, all at different places!
Moreover, we've got a lot of information about local lifestyle, traditions and history. She is a great guide and will answer any type of question you may have about Egypt.
You will also ride a tuktuk!
I can highly recommend you do this activity, especially if you enjoy food and want to explore outside tourist areas.
And make sure to go very hungry!

Excellent food tour
Excellent food tour to try true authentic Egyptian cuisine. Our guide did an impressive job of guiding us through various meals where Egyptians actually eat, as opposed to restaurants geared towards tourists. The food was tasty and well prepared and most importantly, no one got sick. She was very accommodating and made sure we had an amazing experience. Would highly recommend.

Highly Recommended
If you're looking to have an introduction to Egyptian food in a very local area this is the tour for you. Fatima was a great guide and definitely went into depth, not only on the food we were eating, but traditions and customs along the way. Still can't pronounce, or even remember the names of the dishes we had, but at least now I have a good idea of what it is I am choosing to eat when I see it.

Must Do in Cairo!!
My husband and I had such a wonderful time on our food tour! Mila (the tour guide/host) is professional, kind and gives you such an authentic experience of Egyptian cuisine/city life. We went to a part of a city we probably would have never found ourselves. She gave a lot of really good pointers too that helped us for the rest of our trip (places to avoid, other good food options, things to do, prices to expect etc.,) so I would recommend doing this tour earlier in your trip rather than later!
You won’t regret this tour! DO NOT EAT before coming… we were so full by the end we couldn’t even finish dessert. Thanks so much again Mila!!

Unforgettable food experience!
This was one of the highlights of my and my mother's trip. Magy was such a delightful guide and curated the experience perfectly so that it reflected each of the typical meals in a Cairene's day. Not only did she bring us to unique and otherwise inaccessible places to eat, she laid out the food for us and talked us through the different options. We also met lovely people on our tour, and we all got to experience it together. Magy went above and beyond to help us and give us tips for travel and even helped my mother find the best perfume shop to get a scent. I cannot recommend this more and will be suggesting this tour to everyone I know who goes to Cairo. Anyone would be lucky to be able to meet Magy and learn about Egyptian cuisine with her!

A fantastic and filling food tour
This was a fantastic food tour. I love the way Magy structured it by taking us through breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, street food and dessert. She showed us how Egyptians eat and we ATE. You will leave stuffed!
The food was delicious and we felt like we learnt so much about Egyptian culture. Would 10/10 recommend!

Don’t miss this opportunity!
This is possibly the best choice we have made on our entire trip. Magy is so bright, knowledgeable, open and fun! She took us places we would never have even known about and as promised, we learned so much about Egyptian food and culture also. She really engaged with OUR interests as well as showing us her special places and delicious food. I wish we could spend every day with her!! We had a nice group to tour with and Magy was so great at engaging and uniting all of us. I just can’t speak highly enough of this unforgettable opportunity ! Thank you ever so much for taking so much time with us and sharing so much of your life!!! It was an honor to spend the evening with you !

An Authentic Foodie Tour
Exploring the culinary delights of Cairo through this foodie tour was an absolute pleasure and some of the best-spent hours of my 4-day trip to this amazing city. Mila is a passionate connoisseur of Egyptian cuisine, keen on sharing the authentic aspects of Egyptian gastronomy, rather than the standard "touristic" experience. She was very friendly, talkative and answering all questions patiently. After meeting the group just off Tahrir square, at a clearly-defined meeting point, she arranged for a swift minivan ride to the working-class area of Imbaba, north-west of the centre, where most of our tastings took place. It felt like we were the only non-locals around. There were plenty of stops and short walks in between, from the typical small dishes for breakfast, through to the lunch and the compulsory koshari dish and the typical row of street food vendors (lots of meat!). There were also stops at a drink stand, a bakery with sweet and savory biscuits and snacks fresh from the oven, a spice shop, a large-variety pastry shop and even a perfume shop for the full sensory experience. Arriving hungry is key! But it wasn't just about the food: Mila made sure to share the background behind the dishes and the everyday life, often exemplified by stories from her own family. The tour was supposed to be 3 hours, but we took our time and went happily beyond. Don't be put off by the low number of reviews: Mila's tour is genuine and authentic, and recommended in several online resources about Cairo, as she used to offer it in the past on a different platform.

Awesome Food Tour, True to Local Culture
Magy's tour was one of the most exceptional experiences we had in Cairo. Magy used food to share to stories about local culture and to connect us with experiences we would not have had otherwise. We tasted a range of food, all of which was delicious. Above all, Magy was exceptionally kind and incredibly easy to get along with.

Excellent way to try out a great variety of foods
This tour was one of our favorite things we did during our trip. It introduced us to the Egyptian cuisine and took us to neighborhoods we probably would not have ventured to otherwise! We loved the food so much! We ate a lot and everything was so good, so fresh and amazing. I liked that it was not touristy and different from what were offered everyday in Egypt where the meals often catered to tourists and didn't offer a true taste of the local cuisine.
