Picked up at hotel and taken to town. The host (weal) was very professional and told us lots of info. Took us to the mosques and shopping and made the trip a pleasure

Deeply disappointing experience. The tour began with a 45-minute late pickup. At the first sightseeing we were added to a party of 8. The guide appeared intoxicated, with slurred speech and disheveled appearance, and possessed only a minimal command of English. This fundamental lack of professionalism directly led to the mismanagement of our group at a shopping stop, where two members became lost, causing a further 45-minute delay. Furthermore, the guide was incapable of performing his basic duties. He did not accompany us into the church, and at the final and most significant site—the Great Mosque—he provided no historical context or commentary whatsoever. His only contribution was to take a photo per couple before hastily ending the tour. I paid USD 40 for a structured, informative, and professionally guided experience. What I received was a disorganized sequence of delays, a guide who was unfit for duty, and a complete absence of the educational value promised.

How tour was amazing. The pickup time was on point. Our guide was amazing. The trip started at one of the first mosques in Sharm El Sheikh, with a few stops in between we ended in one of the famous markets. The historic information was great and she answered all our questions. Took us to the right shops and showed interest in getting to know the group with us.

Approximately 3h tour dedicated to the Al Sahaba and El Mustafa Mosques, the Celestial Church and the Old Market area. Nada and Wael excellent guides.

Worst tour experiencd I have ever had. Pickup was from hote, received a message to say driver was in parking area. He was waiting in a school car par down the road and sent a photo of a red car, just the door and roof, no license plate. I had my hotel call his number as I was a solo traveller and worried why he had not come to the hotel after the receptionist spoke with Wael ,he came to hotel. He told me the tour was just for me, VIP treatment! The car was old, holes in the dashboard and scratched paintwork. First stop at the mosque, unable to access as it was locked, on to 2nd stop the Church, dropped outside told he was not allowed in as it was not his religion and maybe i could join another tour party inside and get information that way! 3rd stop Catholic church same thing, he waited in the car. Final stop, old Egypt, taken to get appropriate clothes to wear to be able to go inside the mosque but no one inside. Told the mosque was probably closed for prayer. I wandered around for 10 minutes took a few photos and met up with Wael, passed the Mosque on the way back to the car and people were going in. Managed to get tge approoriate clothing and went inside accompanied with Wael this time. Only inside 2 mimutes, informed men pray in the main room, women in the room behind. I was then dropped back outside my hotel. I would never recommend Sharm Gate excursions, I would have been better off getting a taxi to each venue, it would have cost less and had a better car. Scored a 1, Wael was a nice man, polite, but definetely not a tour guide.

The excursion was better than expected. We had only booked the Old City, but we also got to visit Soho Square as a bonus. We were picked up in a private car as a couple, so it was just the four of us: my husband, me, our driver and the guide. This private setup was very pleasant and we really enjoyed being without a large group of tourists. We liked everything very much.
