A total of three pyramids can be found here : the Chephren, the Cheops and the Mykerinos pyramid. You can discover the terrain on foot, horseback or on camel for yourself. After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will head to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. You will be picked up from your hotel around 4am. Upon arrival in Cairo, your tour guide will meet you and accompany you throughout the tour. Meet your Egyptological tour guide at the museum to start your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest archaeological museum in the world with over 100,000 artifacts, or the Ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum during the booking process. Afterwards, enjoy your lunch. The further course of the excursion will take you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The pyramid tour ends at the Sphinx and the temple in its vicinity. If time permits, you will have the opportunity to drive to Cairo Bazaar at the end of the day before returning to Sharm el Sheikh. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be driven to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
When returning from Cairo in the late evening, we will spend some time visiting medieval London (Khan el Klalili Market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafés and a giant dancing fountain, where you'll be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oils Factory. These two attractions will introduce you to ancient Egyptian techniques for making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits expand your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and are also helpful for the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very ancient handicrafts from ancient Egypt. What a fantastic day. Family of 4, with two young children. We have made so many memories and felt like we got to see the real Cairo. Our tour guide Achmed was fantastic. He's funny, helpful and genuinely cares about the people he is showing around. Couldn't thank him enough. Thank you Achmed for a fantastic day. Pickup was bang on time and got to Cairo earlier than expected. Achmed met us at the airport and then we were off. We did a camel ride with a view over the pyramids and then to the pyramids themselves. Then the sphinx. A stop off at a bouduin fa.ily tea house and perfumery, a genuine papyrus shop, a nile cruise as well a tour around the markets of old Cairo. Not forgetting the visit to the old Cairo museum (new one still closed atm) was a jam packed day full of surprises and fun. We managed to cram so much in. Memories forever. The trip to Cairo was the top, punctual, accurate, the guide Mohamed the cobra super prepared, friendly and helpful, great everything, maybe only the Nile cruise 10 euros per person there is nothing to expect, except the fact of having sailed a little on the Nile, otherwise super recommended

A wonderful trip, just filled with memories that will last several lifetimes. Cairo itself is a wonderful experience, so full of life in all of its colours, and so beautiful at night. Pyramids were unbelievable, we went late in the day which helped us with access and time to soak it in, however, like everywhere else we went in Egypt, everyone had there hands out looking for money. Want a picture? Pay me. Want a picture of my camel? Pay me. And if you didn't pay enough, be prepared to pay more or walk away, which we did - more than once. But don't let that detract you from a wonderful place and people. Our guide took us to a nighttime market which was full of eye opening sights and smells. The Egyptian museum was incredible.. Incredibly hot - take plenty of water.. To see the spoils of tutankhumans tomb was filled with mixed emotion. We were in awe of the spectacle but also humbled by the tomb raiders that robbed his and other last resting places.. Our guide was knowledgeable and patient. There was a tour member who had mobility issues and he held hwe hand, gave her assistance and showed infinite patience with her. If you are in any doubt about this trip, just do it, you will not regret it..
