Cobra (Mohammed) best guide
I was in Cairo from Sharm el-Sheikh with my boyfriend. The guide who accompanied us (Mohammed, nicknamed the cobra) was excellent. We will definitely come back next year. Impeccable

A lifetime wish come true, Farmie & Mohamed are the best
The absolute best trip I have ever taken. First stop, the Pyramids. Then the Sphinx, Papyrus Museum/shop, perfume shop, Nile boat ride, trip to Cairo Museum of Egyptian Antiquities and finished our tour with a McDonalds! Farmie is the best tour guide; so patient and tolerant, informative and kind. It was so impressive to us that he spoke both English and German during our tour as we had some people from Berlin with us as well. Mohamed the driver did an excellent job of keeping us safe on the treacherous roads of Cairo.
Our only complaint is that we did not enjoy being taken to places where we were obviously trying to be sold stuff - such as the perfume shop and papyrus museum/shop.
For my 8th birthday, my nan made me a pyramid birthday cake - and when you opened the door of the cake there were little icing mummies inside. This really was the trip of a lifetime for me, it couldn’t have been any better.
Thank you so much guide and driver!

Sharm To Cairo by plane
We went on this trip on 18th sept 25
From the ease of booking right through, everything was brilliant, "Book Tours Egypt" keep in touch with you on Whatsapp.
BUY YOUR VISAS AT THE AIRPORT WHEN YOU ARRIVE IN SHARM,GET THEM STAMPED IN YOUR PASSPORT(25 dollars or pounds.we used cash, there is a charge for the stamp also 5-8 dollars. youtube it.
Our day started at 3.40 am,we were picked up at our hotel, picked up a few more couples then headed to airport, swiftly through airport, everythig went smooth, flight took approx 50 min to 1 hour to Cairo.
exiting Cairo airport we were met by our exellent guide Ahmed and our driver Mustapha, first stop Giza for the piramid tour (on the way you are given the option to buy a camel ride and nile boat trip £10 each pp).Seeing the pyramids is so interesting and cool as is riding on a camel,i recommend :).you will have a camel ride(about 40 min with some photo time)then be guided around one of the pyramids while Ahmed tells you so much about the ancient egyptians,we then walked down past the spinx(also cool)and into the town where you visit a perfume shop then Mustapha drives you to a restaraunt for buffet dinner(spot on).we then went to a papyrus shop then to the museum. Ahmed guides you around explaining about the artifacts(very interesting). then onto the nile boat ride, this lasts about 45 mins and is a pleasent, cooling leisurely trip about a hour or so. then you have free time,we got dropped off at a large shopping mall for a bout 1 houre 30 min then back to Cairo airport.(Do sit around the airport for what seems like ages) and back to Sharm, driver is there to take you back to your hotel(arrived at hotel 10.00pm,long day.
this was a fantastic experience made all the better with our excellent guide Ahmed and our very competent driver Mustapha(you have to see the traffic and the driving in Cairo to belive it)
So if you are considering this, its well worth it, really.
Thankyou all that were involved in making our trip so special :)

Overall very good
Overall the trip was very well planned out and executed:
Started with a 3am pick-up, driver was on-time, friendly and quick (bus had air-con).
Got to the airport where we were showed through to get our boarding passes and where to go through security. The guide did have to leave us at security so you need to find your own way to the gate; a little worrying at first but It’s pretty straight forward.
Landing in Cairo, airport is very simple to navigate and our guide was waiting outside, he was definitely one of the best aspects of this trip. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, chatty, and had a clear passion for the history.
First was the pyramids, again our guide was great. Came here first to avoid the blazing heat later in the day (smart move). Took us through everything, and surprisingly the people trying to sell you things are not at all as bad as people make it out to be. Had very little approach us and even when they did they took the first “no” and left. Went down saw the sphinx after the pyramids.
Then went into an oil/perfume shop. Had a gentleman go through the Fragrances etc and how they are made; quite interesting.
Then was food which I barely had any but that’s more of a me problem of not liking much of the local cuisine.
Then a papyrus museum which was just a shop really, showed us how they are made which was interesting but that was brief and they were more concerned with us buying one.
Then the Cairo museum, this was very good and again our guide showed his knowledge by explaining the best bits.
Penultimately was brief trip on the Nile river, was nice but the music was a little too loud for my liking. With a final visit to the big shopping mall (i can’t remember the name) where our guide parted ways with us.
The trip overall was very wall planned and organised. We felt safe at all times and I would recommend it to someone who wants to visit Cairo via Sharm El-Sheikh; after seeing Cairo I wouldn’t have wanted to do it alone.

Beautiful hike!
Book tour Egypt reliable and professional agency! During my stay in Sharm I made the excursion to Cairo by plane by contacting this agency! I booked from Italy through their website. They followed me on whatsapp from the beginning of the booking until the end of the excursion! What made the day fantastic was our Italian guide Benedetto, a very nice person who involved us a lot during our visit to the Giza pyramids and the Cairo museum. The day is challenging even if you travel by plane because it involves getting up at 3am and then returning at about 11pm to the hotel. Transfer Service, guide, assistance during the trip. Everything perfect! Absolutely recommended.

Thoroughly recommend Book Tours & Fahme our personal guide.
We booked a family trip through Book Tours before we went on our holiday a day trip to Cairo, we were a large group of 13 of us so booked a private tour. We had the most amazing trip from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo, Book Tours kept us informed and updated by WhatsApp constantly. A small tip to others when you arrive on your flight at Sharm El Sheikh you are given an opportunity to get your Visas if you are planning a trip to Cairo, I would suggest that you get them as it's cheaper and all done before your trip. Saying that we did not do this and Book Tours arranged it all on the morning of our trip it was a little stressful but ended up all perfect. Our driver picked us up from our hotel and arranged the visas perfectly, the check in and flight all went smoothly and we were greeted at Cairo airport by our guide Fahme, he is an absolute legend so friendly and passionate and informative about Cairo and its present day and history. We arrived early which was perfect as Fahme had a full day planned for us. We drove straight to the pyramids and were one of the first to arrive before the crowds, we were given an opportunity to go to the panorama to see all of the pyramids from across the desert, this is an additional cost by camel or pony and carriage, and is quite an experience and photo opportunity, some of us did and some did not and its not an issue either way. Fahme arranges it all and advises you. We then went straight to the Sphinx which is truly amazing and breathtaking and then onto the pyramids, they are totally mesmerizing and we just stood in awe. We had approx 3 hours there and Fahme was guiding and giving us information and then left us to do a bit of our own sight seeing. There are several people constantly trying to sell you items and they can be a bit intrusive at times. We then met up with Fahme and he took us to a Oil / perfume outlet, where we were offered refreshments and given a presentation. You are not pressured to purchase but it was pleasant and the aircon and refreshments were greatly received. We then had a trip to a place that makes Papyrus again a brief interesting presentation and a chance to buy, no pressure. Onto a wonderful lunch stop a gorgeous selection of food, (you pay for your drinks but very reasonable) with a great view of the pyramids from Cairo. Then onto the Cairo museum, again Fahme was full of knowledge and information and guided us around the museum, we even had the opportunity to see some of the Tutankhamun collection, this was the original museum as the new museum is not yet open to the public. (It's very warm in here, take water) On the subject of water, we had plenty of water supplied to us in the minibus in a refrigerated box which was amazing. As we requested, Fahme then took us on a boat trip on the Nile (additional small charge) but what a fun way to get a view of Cairo from the river, not a desert / palm tree view but a cosmopolitan view, with lots of enjoyment, music and chances of some crazy photography done expertly by Fahme. Then off to Old Cairo to look at the markets / shops this was a little crazy and very uncomfortable, you are constantly approached to shop in all of the shops / stalls and a lot of beggars / mothers with babies / children asking for money or to buy balloons, hankies, bracelets etc. Most of us didn't buy as it was too uncomfortable to haggle. Then a meet up with Fahme again and he walked us through the Old Cairo showing us the old buildings and some of the history. Then our excellent driver was waiting for us to sweep us back to the airport to fly back to Sharm El Shiekh and again we were met by our original driver even though our flight was delayed. Overall we would thoroughly recommend you book your trip with Book Tours and if you can put a request in for Fahme as we all felt that he really made our day with his friendly, fun and informative manner.

Great Cairo visit
Great trip! The tour guide Ahmed was amazing. The flight back had televisions in the airplane and we could watch the newest movies. Would recommend.

Could not have asked for a better day in Cairo! Exceeded all expectations!
Could not have asked for a better day in Cairo!
We were guided through the whole airport process and everything was so easy - we also needed help getting our visa’s, which was sorted so easily by our airport driver!
The whole day was fantastic on a whole. We visited the great pyramids of Giza and took a 20 min camel ride to get a better view (optional extra but only 10 euros) which was just amazing. We then walked to see the sphinx (it is quite hot so make sure to put sun cream on & get a few waters from the driver)
We also had the chance to visit perfume making and papyrus (paper) making stores which wasn’t included in the description but were great experiences!
We visited the museum at the hottest point of the day which was ideal as it was boiling! Our tour guide Ahmed knew everything and told us some amazing facts as we went around the museum as a group.
Finally, we finished off the day with a boat ride on the Nile (another optional extra at 10 euros) but is well worth the money. It was about 40 minutes long on such a modern and comfy boat.
The whole day was much better than we hoped for. Thanks to our guide Ahmed who was so helpful and knowledgeable & also to our driver Mustafa!
Also to the great group of people we spent the whole experience with, thanks for an amazing day!
