In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Cairo in an air-conditioned coach. Upon arrival, you will be met by your tour guide, who will accompany you throughout the entire tour.
Meet your Egyptologist tour guide at the museum to begin your day. Visit the state-of-the-art Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the world's largest archaeological museum with over 100,000 artifacts, or the ancient Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Select your preferred museum when booking.

Marvel at the last existing wonder of the world - a fabulous experience! You will find a total of three pyramids here: the Chephren, Cheops and Mykerinos pyramids. You can discover the area on foot, on horseback or by camel. Duration between 2 and 3 hours.
After visiting the pyramids of Giza, you will go to the Great Sphinx, by far the largest and most preserved sphinx. It consists of a human head on a lion's body. The Sphinx was carved from the remainder of a limestone mound that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Duration approx. 20-30 minutes.
Since all buses have to wait for the convoy leaving Cairo for Sharm at the end of the day, you will make one or two of the following stops: characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also help the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (While waiting for the convoy to return)
Guests are picked up from all hotels in Sharm el Sheikh.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

A fantastic and unforgettable experience! The tour to the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum was organized to perfection, but the real added value was our guide Adel. Adel is super nice, very knowledgeable, and incredibly good: with her passion, her humor, and her compelling explanations, she really made us fall in love with the history of ancient Egypt. In addition to helping us discover every secret of the pharaohs and the most beautiful treasures of the museum, she also helped us take spectacular photos at the best spots. If you want to experience a magical day in Cairo, rely on Adel: she is simply the best, 100% highly recommended!

Sameh put in a lot of effort; thank you very much for the great day. We learned a lot about Egypt and the pyramids. He always explained everything to us and always accompanied us everywhere. Sam spoke German very well and was a good storyteller. We would definitely recommend him.

Probably the best museum in the world (I rate it against The Louve, The British Museum and the Vatican) Go early before the groups and dont bother paying extra for the audio guide as there are hardly any exhibits with the link and the symbols on the exhibits are tiny are tiny and easy to miss. Do the main galleries first, dont use the escalator as you miss loads. Do the galleries in numerical order then walk back up to do the Tut exhibition which is quite frankly breathtaking. You can then go down to the food court areas back down in the main lobby. You have then got the boat house museum outside which dosent have a great deal apart from the one amazingly intact boat. There are fresh filtered water fountains about which is excellent. There are hundreds of staff on duty who appear the second a child puts their greasy finger on a display case. (Maybe a few too many staff....) There are ample benches to have a 2 minute stop and take stock It took me a good 6 hours to give it justice which included 30 minutes eating. The only negative aspect us the entry exit. You get dropped off and picked up on the main road outside rather than in the carpark.
