Day trip to Luxor
We took a day trip to Luxor. Everything was great, we can only recommend it.
Our tour guide Osama Mohawes accompanied us the whole day and told and reported everything very well. On his own initiative, he additionally visited another temple that was not listed in the program. Many thanks for that.

Simply wonderful!
110% satisfaction! A very, very nice tour guide (Osama Mohawes), who speaks very good German and is also happy to answer questions. Since I had always wanted to see Egypt, I was naturally extremely interested, and it was worth every euro! Gladly again!
We visited Banana Island, the Temple of Luxor as well as the one in Karnak and the one in Habu, the Valley of the Kings, and even took a Nile cruise and visited the Papyrus Museum and an alabaster workshop ☺️
Osama also helped with negotiating purchases and achieved a price that I NEVER could have achieved myself!
And all that
Highly recommended! ☺️🥰

Private tour in Luxor with Magdoleen, an UNFORGETTABLE experience
Everything was perfect. Very comfortable transfer, the driver was very punctual and excellent at driving, even in traffic.
Our guide Magdoleen is a very well-prepared archaeologist, and you can see that she loves her job. She explains everything in a clear, passionate, and engaging way.
As our first stop, we went to the Valley of the Kings: she explained everything in detail and then gave us all the time we needed to visit the tombs calmly and take photos.
Afterward, we took a short break at an alabaster shop, where they sell handcrafted products made of real stones and authentic alabaster, very nice and with no pressure to buy.
Then we visited the beautiful Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III. Here too, Magdoleen was impeccable; she pointed out details that we would never have understood on our own.
We had lunch at a very good restaurant, included in the price, and then we took a private crossing of the Nile, which lasted about half an hour, truly evocative and relaxing.
After the crossing, we stopped for about 20 minutes at a well-stocked shop for spices and local products, with a tasting and explanation. We love spices, so we took a few things home, but even if you don't buy anything, it's not a problem. The people are incredibly hospitable.
As the last stop, the majestic Luxor Temple. I am not here to tell you about its beauty and magnificence; it must be experienced.
I conclude by saying that Magdoleen made this day truly unforgettable. Professional, kind, always smiling and helpful, she made us fall in love with the history of Egypt. If you take this tour, absolutely ask for her. She is the added value that makes the difference between a simple tour and an experience you will remember forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Magdoleen!

Perfect day trip with Osama Mohawes
We were picked up at the hotel at 3 a.m. We had a super modern new car and a very lovely and competent driver (Omar)! After 5 hours of driving time (incl. border control in Safaga), we then reached Luxor. There we were received directly by Osama Mohawes, our German-speaking tour guide for the day! He studied Egyptology and had enormous knowledge and was able to answer all our questions in a super understandable way.
The first highlight:
the Karnak Temple (the largest temple complex of ancient Egypt, which lies on the east bank of the Nile).
The next stop was then, at our request, a spice shop; here we received a short introduction to various spices and types of tea; that was very delicious and interesting!
And then we were already on our way to the Valley of the Kings (which lies on the west bank of the Nile), you drive toward the desert, totally inconspicuous.. It was totally fascinating!
There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings.
Among others, we were in the most famous burial chamber, that of Tutankhamun.
In total, we looked at 3 burial chambers.
Afterward, we were at an alabaster (natural stone) factory; here we were shown how vessels and works of art are chiseled from the stone.
Furthermore, we were then at the Habu Temple; the great thing here was that many colors are still preserved.
After very multifaceted impressions, a lot of input, and immersing ourselves in another world, we then had lunch at a traditional Egyptian restaurant; that was delicious!
Last but not least, there was a 20-minute boat trip on the Nile and subsequently the drive back.
Many thanks, Osama Mohawes; you always explained everything to us clearly, provided us with the most important info, and made the day something special for us. Also, a thank you again to Omar; we felt very comfortable and safe the entire drive.

A great excursion with guide Osama Mohawes
We were picked up punctually at the hotel and driven to Luxor in a very modern, air-conditioned car. The drive from Marsa Alam to Luxor took approx. 4.5 hours.
There, we were warmly welcomed by our German-speaking guide Osama Mohawes. We were able to organize the day entirely according to our wishes and ideas. All individual highlights were discussed and planned together.
This allowed us to visit two beautiful temples as well as the Valley of the Kings. Admission to all sights was included, except for the entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamun, which had, however, already been communicated in advance.
In addition, we visited a factory for alabaster vases and other handmade products.
Afterwards, we went to an Egyptian restaurant, where we were able to enjoy traditional and very delicious food.
Many thanks to Osama for this wonderful and individual excursion!
