You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

  3. Tomb of Ramses III
    15 minute

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

  4. Tomb of Merenptah
    15 minute

In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

  5. Tomb of Ramses IV
    25 de minute

The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

  6. Temple of Hatshepsut

Best day tour in Luxor

Abdul was the best guide ever! We came from cairo and our flight was delayed 2 hours, when we told him he said "no problem, I'll wait" and he did wait along with the driver. Then they took us to the valley of the kings and along the road he gave us all type of information, he is so passionate about anciant Egypt and he's the most knowledgeable showing us all the details only a true egyptologist would know. He knew the best places from food, rides and WCs. He offered 2 type of food we chose the faluca lunch and the chicken option, we paid 25 usd per person for the lunch that includes 2 drinks but I think is worth it because you don't have to worry about anything as he has everything well organized and make us truly enjoy the time. It's the best experience I've had in Egypt and is 100% recommended 👌🏽 he's reliable and honest. Everything of the itinerary was covered. Also the driver is always there minimizing the walks for you so you spend most of your time within the attractions.

Epic Luxor day w/ Abdul

My husband and I had the best day in Luxor thanks to Abdul and our driver! Abdul is professional, knowledgeable and hospitable. He waited for us in our hotel lobby on time. The mini van was clean with great AC a which we had all to ourselves on the private tour. He is passionate about Egyptology and it was contagious. He curated the perfect experience for us from the visits to local towns to local authentic restaurants. He provided great advice on how to spend our time and just overall made our entire Luxor experience so positive and wonderful! This was worth every penny and would highly recommend this tour.

Great time and experience in Luxor

Can't miss experience! Got to see all the historical sites and especially enjoyed that our guide started with telling us the history and then giving us free time to explore and take pictures. Guide was also helpful in getting our tickets (as not included) and give us advice to deal with sellers and their tactics. Recommend for sure.

Perfect introduction to Ancient Egypt

Prompt pick up in clean air conditioned mini bus. A most enjoyable day. It was the perfect introduction to Ancient Egypt. Our guide Mohamed was knowledgeable but didn’t overwhelm us with too much information. He carefully selected the best sights and chose a lovely local restaurant for lunch. I wholly recommend this tour.
