Luxor and Aswan with the best travel guide.
We flew to Luxor and traveled on the M/S Farah from Luxor to Aswan with Ahmed Megally, our personal guide. The trip took 5 days, during which Ahmed was our constant companion. He showed us through the temples and tombs while demonstrating a great depth of knowledge that he could tailor to the interests of each individual. Ahmed was not only was a great guide, but he was there to make every aspect of our travel better. He assisted us with getting the best pictures, suggested local restaurants that were excellent, took over the negotiations during shopping (which was greatly appreciated as pricing dropped by 90% in a few seconds) and shared local stories about modern and ancient Egypt in each of the towns we visited. We would visit Luxor and the surrounding areas again, but we'd arrange our travel to ensure that Ahmed was our guide. Ahmed, thank you! Let's meet at the sugar cane juice stand in Aswan again sometime!

Every detail was taken care of!
I went to Egypt last month and did most of the trip planning myself. I was with a group for part of the time and we did a lot of things together in Cairo/Giza and took a day trip to Alexandria organized by another company. But it was important to me to have some help planning and reserving a 5-day trip up the Nile from Luxor to Aswan, and adding in personal, cultural encounters that would make my trip especially memorable.
Hany was my main contact during the planning stage. He always responded to every question, concern, or itinerary tweak within hours! Hours!! This is Egypt/USA communication...no delays. He booked domestic flights for us to destinations beyond our cruise when I had trouble doing it. He arranged a light and sound show ticket for us in Luxor for a competitor's price when I requested it. We had carriage rides, motorboat tours, visits to the Nubian villages, and one-on-one personal tours of every site with Ahmed, our own Egyptologist who traveled with us on the cruise ship. He helped us shop! Once we had a price in mind for a scarf or perfume or a gelabaya, Ahmed concluded the negotiation with the shopkeeper on our behalf, in Arabic. It was very sweet.
As a woman traveling alone I would not hesitate to recommend this company for a safe, thorough, and unforgettable experience.

Excelent Company !!
From the very begining they were extremely profesionnal. Hany El Dosouki , the Cairo representative was extremely colaborative to make the wished travel format. The guide no Cairo, Muhamad & on the Nile cruise Said were outstanding. We were very happy with results !!!!

Wonderful Nile cruise and with an excellent private guide
Thank you very much to Luxor and Aswan Travel for such a wonderful tour, fully recommended. Coordination was with Mahmoud, who was very nice people with us from the beginning and was always available on Whatsapp. In addition, he went to pick us up at the hotel in Luxor and accompanied us to the cruise. As for our guide, Mohamed, I think better guide we could not have had, very good people, and also, expert in Egyptology. I am one of the people who like to plan their own trips and avoid taking tours, but in the case of Egypt the guide is indispensable for all his knowledge and experience in the subject; otherwise it would never be used likewise. Egyptian culture and its entire legacy is very complex, and only with an expert can you truly value and learn. A thousand thanks to Mahmoud and Mohamed. We hope to see you again on a future trip and will definitely recommend you to family and friends. Cheers.

Good experience, great guide
We had a good experience, we liked the balloon ride over Aswan the best though it was a last minute plan! The boat is comfortable and the food is abundant (the quality could be better). Mahmoud is always on top of things and even as it is a small detail, the fact that he gives you a SIM card makes a huge difference, otherwise you cannot be connected at all.
We enjoyed our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable, and explained lots of things, visiting without a guide does not make any sense. Unfortunately we had to go every single day to one or 2 shops where they try to sell you the "real authentic" souvenir, in my opinion a waste of time that could be used visiting more temples or spending more time at the many attractions Egypt has to offer. All in all a good experience!
PS. Have enough change with you, you will have to pay tips for EVERYTHING even the things you think are included and payed for.

Great Service
My mum and I travelled to Cairo to visit friends and family and decided to do a little tour from Luxor to Aswan. It was a last minute decision, but as soon as I contacted Mahmoud, he was very efficient in correspondence. Within a couple of days he'd booked our personalised tour including tickets that we needed to go to Sudan (which wasn't part of the tour). Mahmoud and his team were very courteous, we were picked up as soon as we arrived in Luxor and transported in between temples up until our last day to take our bus trip to Sudan.
Special thanks to Michael our personal tour guide. He is great at what he does.

Nile River Cruise
The Luxor and Aswan Travel provided my husband and I a magnificent “bucket list” excursion. Our guide Ahmed Megally explained points of interest and provided guiding information about every aspect of our trip. Translation and bargaining was expertly handled. We would without hesitation recommend his service to anyone.
The ship, HS Radamis I Nile Cruiser was comfortable, and clean. The staff provided excellent service. The wait staff, Tarek was a great waiter.

A cruise down the Nile.
We enjoyed a four-night, five-day cruise from Aswan to Luxor.
I thought there would be some entertainment on board, but it was disappointing.
It's amazing to see small craft gather around a cruise ship and throw it on to the roof of a crew ship asking to see the product.

A great travel agency
I spent a great time with my family in Luxor and Aswan. We spent 4-nights/5-days on Farah Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan in late December 2017.
I've booked the trip with "Luxor and Aswan Travel" agency through Mr. Mahmoud. The agency is very professional. A big thank you to our private tour guide Mr. Ahmed who made everything possible to make sure we enjoy our vacation. Mr. Mahmoud was also extremely helpful since the first day I contacted him (3-months before the trip).
