Driver was waiting for us right on time in front of our hotel. was waiting in the van near the ferry dock for like 30 mins for other riders, maybe ? wish we were in the air longer and also flew closer to Hatshepsut. It was a great experience overall.

Our group (9 pers.) was picked up at the hotel on time at 5:00 a.m. by minibus and taken directly to the starting place. If there were only two of us, the pickup would have been at 4:15 a.m. (because then different hotels would have been approached). Today, around 50 balloons from various organizers have been launched. The gondola size is adjusted to the group size. We got a 20-man gondola together with another group. The flight duration was announced to us on site as "about 30 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less" (depending on flight conditions or finding a suitable landing site). We were around. 60 minutes in the air. At the time of booking, we had ticked "German" as a language, but only got English-speaking guides (which was no problem for us though). Attention: It gets extremely hot in the gondola. It is best to put on a hat to protect your hair. Overall conclusion: Recommended!
