This sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor was an incredible experience with a strong focus on safety above all else. From start to finish, everything felt well organized and professional. I was picked up right on time and dropped off at the same location, which made the day seamless. During the flight, the pilot pointed out major landmarks which made the experience even more meaningful. Our pilot, Pakar, was very knowledgeable and ensured a smooth, safe flight and landing. A nice bonus is that the team records the experience from the ground and offers the footage for purchase at the end. Highly recommended for a safe and memorable way to see Luxor from above.

The pilot we had was very experienced and he was also guiding other pilots in the air. Gave us clear instructions on safety during take off and landing.
Everything depends on air and the adventure may get delayed or cancelled, consider that while booking.

An unforgettable Hot Air Balloon Experience in Luxor
Our hot air balloon ride in Luxor was truly an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. The pick-up from our accommodation was perfectly on time, which made the early morning start easy and stress-free.
At first, the wind conditions were not ideal for take-off, and safety was clearly the top priority. The team handled the situation very professionally, keeping everyone informed and calm while we waited. Once the wind improved and it was safe to fly, we were finally allowed to take off — and it was absolutely worth the wait.
Floating over Luxor at sunrise was breathtaking, with incredible views of the Nile, temples, and the surrounding landscape. The entire experience felt magical and very well organized from start to finish.
We truly appreciated the professionalism, patience, and focus on safety, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hot air balloon ride to anyone visiting Luxor — it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience you shouldn’t miss

Very wonderful thing to...
Very wonderful thing to experience, however we were kept waiting outside in the cold for over an hour before sunrise, and the balloons didn’t depart until well after sunrise due to weather conditions. It would be better if they had people arrive right before departure time

The ultimate in emotion and experience
The hotel pick-up and drop-off was scheduled for 4:30 and we arrived just under 10 minutes late, but the ride was smooth!
The journey is by car to the Nile, then by boat, and then by car again to the venue.
We arrived at the venue around 6pm, and from there we waited for about an hour for the plane to clear.
The wind speed on the ground was about 1 meter on the day, but the wind was strong in the sky, so I couldn't fly very fast.
It was spectacular to see the balloons inflate and fly all at once when they were actually cleared to fly.
When I actually flew to see the Valley of the Kings and the city of Luxor, I was beyond description.
After that, he dropped me off at the hotel on my way back, and even though Tyson, who was in charge of the tour, didn't speak English very well, he was very gracious!
If you're thinking about a balloon experience in Luxor, this tour is for you!

The hot air balloon experience in Luxor was absolutely unforgettable, offering breathtaking views of the Nile, temples, and desert at sunrise. The ride was smooth, well-organized.
A warm, sheltered waiting area before takeoff would be a welcome improvement, especially during the cold early-morning hours.
Also, make sure you have a warm jacket!

Wonderful once in lifetime experience
It was a bit confusing at first, because I was picked up in a car and then transferred to another car halfway through but in hindsight, that was all intentional. The balloon takes about 32 people so it’s not an intimate experience but I was put in a section with great gals. We were waiting for liftoff approval for about 90mins outside, and it can be chilly so recommend a sweater. It’s much warmer when the sun comes up and you’re up in the sky. I don’t have all the details but it felt like they decided who was on which balloon based on your hotel. I guess it makes for easy pickup. All to say, I was glad I chose a safe but cheaper package, got the same experience as people that paid more. Highly recommend doing this after you’ve done a tour of Luxor so you know what you’re looking at.

Awesome Hot-Air Baloon Ride.
Smooth connection between car and boat transportation. Our guide Hasan was very friendly and helpful with taking pictures. Awesome team work to get the Hot-Air baloon up in the air.
