Book this tour!

This was one of the best tours I’ve done in Egypt. Luxor is massive and having the opportunity to devote an entire day to just one side is a really wise choice, giving you the appropriate time to go deep on the multitude of sites to be found in west Luxor. Sayed was an outstanding tour guide who kept us engaged and entertained from start to finish, even informing us of details which other guides had missed - he is top of his game. His detailed, passionate, and fun approach helped make this full day a breeze. I would unreservedly recommend doing a tour of Luxor (or anywhere else in Egypt for that matter) with Sayed as your guide backed up by George as your patient and safe driver. Thanks again Sayed and George!

Luxor West Bank

I had an anmazing experience exploring the West Bank of Luxor with our guide Mina. He was very professional, super knowledgeable and he made the whole visit smooth and interesting, sharing lots of historical insights in a clear and engaging way. Even the people working at the temples recognized him and said he is the best. Highly recommended!

Nice west bank tour

Visited Valley of the kings, temple of Hatshepsut, Worker's valley, Médinet Habou, and Remesseum. (Instead of Valley of the queens, since the famous tomb is closed) Good driver, good guide, and I can customize the trip, which is very nice. We started early and beat many big tour groups. And back around noon, before it's getting too hot. Overall, good experience.

Top tour, top guide

A truly amazing and comprehensive tour covering the highlights of the West Bank. Ereen was a superb guide, not only because of her in-depth knowledge of Egyptology but also because she knew when to step back and give us space to wander on our own and take in the incredible sights on Luxor’s West Bank. There’s a lot of history to take in, but Ereen made it all so accessible and was always ready to answer our questions. The most famous sites did not disappoint, but the workers’ village at Deir Al Medina was an unexpected highlight - truly remarkable. Ereen was ably supported by Peter the driver, who also helped us find a store to get some much-needed provisions at local prices. Highly recommended. Mashallah!

Nice tour for west side

We went to every places and the tour was efficient. We could take as much time as possible after the guide's explanation. The car had AC, and the guide did a good job.

Tour guide review

It was fun, the tour guide was good I just didn’t like stopping on a shop where it seems like it’s “mandatory” to buy something. I know it’s not but that’s just what it feels like, there was an additional $30 usd dinner which consisted of the guide taking you to banana island on a boat which is a 10 min ride and they take you on a little tour to see it but in my opinion it was not worth it. The dinner didnnot included drinks which surprised me because $30 for a dinner is a lot. But overall the guide was a good guy who knew a lot about the history of the temples and tombs.

Full day of sights

Overall Mina was a great guide for a full day as it was a lot of ground to cover. He was helpful in acquiring the tickets efficiently and organizing where to go. Few critiques would be explaining everything at the beginning of each sight in the sun was not ideal- it might have been better to do so in an area under the shade or along the way. Explaining the story of the whole site at the beginning is also a bit hard to remember then have to go see it/remember details by yourself— although I do understand with the other guides it can get crowded. Also, I would advise on skipping the alabaster factory- I was disappointed we were brought there by the tour because we did purchase things here and later I saw reviews that this was a tourist scam which I think leaves a bad impression (incredibly overpriced products and I now question even the authenticity/quality). Food for thought for the tour guides as otherwise I would’ve recommended without reservation. I understand wanting to support the locals but doing so in an honest way is always better and trust me when I say travelers are happy to do so.
