Great Experience and Guide, but Lunch Could Improve

This review is for the package that included a car, guide, entry fees, and lunch. The guide and driver arrived 10 minutes early and kindly waited for us. The driver was very polite and professional throughout the day. Our guide, Omar, was a proud Egyptian who shared a wealth of knowledge during the drive and at each site. At Karnak Temple, he walked with us, explained the history, and pointed out significant features. Next, we visited the Valley of the Kings, where we entered three chambers. Omar encouraged us to explore freely and ask any questions afterward. I do wish he had accompanied us inside, as I had several questions that would have been easier to ask on the spot, though he did answer the questions I remembered later. At Hatshepsut Temple, he provided explanation of its history during the drive, and once there, he again gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace. Lunch followed, which is the reason I’m giving a 4-star rating. The restaurant staff were extremely friendly, but unfortunately, the food quality could have been better—the chicken thighs were quite dry and tasted reheated rather than freshly cooked. We did, however, enjoy a relaxed meal with ample time and even ordered coffee (for an extra charge). Our final stop was Luxor Temple, where Omar accompanied us again, offering insights and historical context. At every site, he allowed us plenty of time—about 25–30 minutes—to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with excellent organization and an informative guide; only the lunch fell short of expectations.

Meh tour

My guide was friendly, sometimes a bit too friendly for a solo female traveller. I had a difficult time understanding him at some parts, so the storytelling wasn’t as engaging. I was taken to 3 shopping stops that were not requested. We stopped at an essential oil place, a papyrus place and an alabaster shop. They were all very good sales peoples but I definitely overpaid, cause I trusted my guide.I was disappointed to search up the shops afterwards, and read bad reviews from customers like me that had felt scammed. Do not buy anything from your tour guide stops. The pressure is intense, but stay strong. Your guides get commission from the shops they take you to and it’s much much cheaper at Khan el Khalil. It was a fine tour, and a long day, but overall average experience.

Family private tour with amazing guide

As a family of four, with two 9 year olds we thoroughly enjoyed this tour with our guide Ahmed Kassem. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating to all our requests and especially considerate of the children. We saw everything included as advertised with an appropriate length of time dedicated. Having a native language guide was very convenient and helped. This private tour is highly recommended for those who are wishing to see it all on a limited time frame as we felt we didn’t miss out on anything in beautiful Luxor. We had a driver who accompanied us for the day which made transiting and access to all the attractions extremely easy and all of our tickets were pre purchased by our guide. Thankyou Ahmed - we will be recommending your expertise to our friends and family for when they visit Egypt

Poor organisation

I booked the one after dawn because it said you were leaving later, instead of leaving at 4:30, you were leaving at 5:30 from the hotel After several laps to retrieve other people, they made us stand in the square waiting for the balloon to arrive until 7.15 absurd! Back at the hotel at 9.30, almost missing breakfast!

Great private tour if Luxor

Salwa gave a well paced tour for our private group. She spoke great English so that it was very easy to understand the vast amount of information. She was also very good at taking photos which is important to me. 🤣

Not great but cheap

Included pick up and guide. Had to wait nearly an hour because the driver parked and had no signal. Guide didn’t want to walk with us much gave us some info before we went in, pretty rushed though, then asked us to tip him where the driver couldn’t see so he doesn’t need to share which is pretty dog. Cheap though.

Good Trip

It's a good company. The driver and the trip was well coordinated. We booked the day trip along with the guide and we are really unsatisfied with the guide. She kept reading the information boards near the tombs and some random wiki knowledge. A lot of misinformation too so I would definitely recommend the trip but without a guide.

It's hard to say.

It was the end of the year, so all the places I visited were crowded. The second Temple of Hatshepsut was so incredibly crowded that I gave up the Luxor Temple, which was scheduled for the afternoon of 45, and decided to go to Karnak, which was the only temple I could finish. And I had a lot of time, and I said, 'How are you?' I didn't feel good because he kept getting in touch with me and asking me 'how many minutes it's going to take' and urging me to finish. I ended up going to the airport early, so I had to wait a lot longer for the forehand flight. I was also dropped off off off at the airport grounds and walked quite a long way, probably because there was a fee to get into the airport at Forteford. They asked me if I was a good driver, and if I was a good driver, I told them to write it down by word of mouth. I don't think there's a good impression of Uefa for someone who's first called themselves there.
