Me and my family (5 of us including a young child) booked a private day trip from Hurghada to Luxor through Ramashka based on its Tripadvisor reviews and we could not be happier about the experience. Our two drivers were punctual. Our local tour guide Said could not do enough for us as he was so friendly and welcoming. He cared about everyone in our group especially paid attention to our little one. He made sure we were not rushed and were happy with all sightseeing. The day in Luxor was well organised. We covered everywhere we wanted to visit. We can’t thank Said enough for this great day.

Beautiful day!
On September 21st we had a great day with FARID. He speaks perfect French and is very professional. Karnak. Valley of Kings.Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Colossuses. Meals in a beautiful and picturesque restaurant with terrace and Nile view. Unforgettable! Many thanks again to our FARID guide who was excellent for this day!

Luxor a day
First of all we would like to congratulate our guide Farid who was listening and who adapted to our requests. He speaks very good French and is really concerned about the progress of the visit. A big thank you to him and especially do not hesitate to contact him!
Regarding the organization and organizer we were literally anguished the day before by a very unpleasant phone contact. The organizer got upset because we didn't understand why the minibus couldn't fit into the hotel complex. Which is not very reassuring considering that authorizations are required for all activities of the day. We almost canceled just because we felt like we were bothering asking questions.
It was a good day. Be careful to specify that you do not want to extra and repeat it every time! Everything is a pretext to make you spend more. But overall apart from the water cruise you can follow the classic program.
The minibus is very nice we nevertheless ask ourselves the question of safety. Indeed, for 30% more via the hotel agency, we pick you up at the foot of the hotel and you with a new car (less visible than a tourist bus). At the minibus, there were 2 drivers which is however a guarantee of safety given the number of hours!!
In short, we recommend Farid for the tour and hope ramashka tours will be more enjoyable for a next time. The price difference with the hotel is present but requires more concern. In addition, the hotel does not know exactly where you are leaving and who to contact in case of problems. This feeling of insecurity is probably exaggerated but leaving the complex and falling in front of drivers without the presence of the guide is not very reassuring. Excursions with the hotel, the guide was present from the start. Little things that make a difference. However, we recommend ramashka tours!

Day in Luxor with French guide
We booked 3 movements via WhatsApp in 2 clicks. Ahmed responded immediately for 1 day to Luxor departure from Hurghada. Minibus transport, so convenient enough to be responsive to visits and breaks during the day.
We wanted a guide in French.
We were not disappointed, as our guide Farid, a self-taught Francophone of our language, offered us a special Service throughout the day.
Program that took us to the essentials for a day, all in all, dense: Karnak, crossing the Nile, lunch on the banks, Valley of the Kings, Memnon colossuses, carriage in the streets of Luxor.
Price: 60€/persons (access to sites included).

Luxor Day Trip 1/3
First time in Egypt. Booked 3 tours with Ramashka and I will be reviewing them separately. We stayed in Hurghada for 12 days and emailed Ramashka tours for the trips we were interested in. They emailed us back with their dates and as we were flexible, we just agreed to the dates they suggested. The tour prices for us was reasonable and we really opted for a reliable tour operator (best decision).
For the luxor day trip, we were picked up at 05:30 am from our hotel by the driver and Mr Ahmed himself. To our surprise, it was just me and my husband who were booked that day so the van for 12 people was all ours. It felt like we booked a VIP private tour. Mr Ahmed gave us some drinks and snacks before we left Hurghada.
We followed the itinerary as planned. We had Khaled as our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. He studied hieroglyphics extra for two years so he was able to explain to us the meaning on the walls/stones. He also offered extra tours (like nile cruise or banana island for 10€ each) which we politely declined. However, we stopped in two shops - Papyrus and the stone factory. We got a painting for 600 egyptian pounds, original price was 950. We weren't sure if this was a reasonable price as we never saw the same painting we got in other stores so we were quite relieved. The alabaster jar we got was 11 euros. The seller started with 45 euros by the way.
Anyway, there's a mini boat trip crossing the nile to the restaurant for lunch included in the package. Enough time to take photos in the nile river. :)
For Karnak Temple, we paid 10 egyptian pounds for our tripod.
For the valley of the kings, you have to pay around 300 egyptian pounds extra for your camera and we wished we did.
We were really delighted to have had this tour with Ramashka. We were not rushed and we could discuss with Khaled since it was just us or if you're in a small group compared to those big groups with headsets.
PS. Our last stop around 16:30 was the Colossi of Memnon. Maybe going there in the morning is better for taking photos.

First of all, THANK YOU Ahmed for the great and unforgettable trip.
We have booked the trip one day before but Ahmed helped us and organised everything PERFECT. We had a private trip to Luxor with an excellent English speaking guide - Mr. Khaled, his knowledge of the history of Egypt is incredible, very kind, friendly and speaks perfect english.
The services were beyond expectations - and the prices are really the best you can get.
I recommend this travel agency because they care about their clients, they offer authentic experience, they are VERY PROMPT and professional.
When you meet people like Ahmed, you would definitely return to Egipt again.
