Once in a lifetime experience !
Where to start?! Pickup was faultless, then all met at checkpoint where we met with met with the other groups. Moussa the guide, astronomer, knowledgeable and experienced was absolutely amazing in making everyone feel welcomed. The trip to the desert was fun and bumpy! As soon as you arrived, camel ride for 3-5 minutes, then tea which was followed up by the watching the stunning sunset! Now, here comes the best part! Dinner was epic, Moussa throwing some vocals around the fire in such a picturesque atmosphere! About telescopes were already set, each pointing at a planet and we queued up to watch! Finally, it was time to go home but just before, Moussa showed us all the constellations and zodiac! All I gotta say, this is an experience of a lifetime! Don’t think, book it because I’ll be back to do it again! Thanks MOUSSA!

Fly me to the moon
This stargazing trip is definitely a perfect and wonderful journey, and it is also an excellent window to experience traditional life in the Egyptian desert. Thanks to the tour guide for telling us the story behind the singing at the campfire party. Finally, if I had to put a song to accompany this stargazing trip, I think it should be fly me to the moon.

Star gazing
Started the day with Abdul and his driver friend being jokers all the way there and we're very entertaining. Once at the village it was very well organised, had an opportunity to see how the women made bread and climbed to see the sunset and was provided dinner. Once it was dark ( it was very dark) the astronomer gave a fantastic talk on what and where the stars were using his laser pen (from Amazon as he kept telling us) we also had the opportunity to look through the telescope to see both Jupiter and Saturn. The journey both there and back in the jeep through the desert was eventful and not for the faint hearted (on a bench in the back no seatbelts). Highly recommended evening out.

Absolutely recommended, great experience!
We had a fantastic afternoon and evening. Our driver Mahmud made the drive through the desert an adventure. He is an excellent driver. The tour guide Sidiq made sure that all guests had enough time to admire Saturn and the North Star through the telescope. He reset it for each guest. The starry sky was explained in detail and expertly. The night sky was beautiful, as was the sunset in the desert. They really put a lot of effort into making the adventure an unforgettable experience. Thank you very much Mahmut and Sidiq

One of MUST DO in life
It was one of the best experiences in the life! The trip to the desert took near 40 min but thanks to our driver Amar, we really had fun during the road!
Arrived there we’vedone a short ride on the camel (if you don’t want you can enjoy just made tea), then watched a beautiful sunset, ate bred cooked in front of us, had a dinner as real Bedouins, sang near the fire and of course watched a night sky! Thanks to Moussa our guide who described us not only stars but also planets which we could see from telescope! You also can ask for Shisha and enjoy it during songs near fire, and ask a guy with a professional camera make you some photos. For us this day is just unforgettable!
P.s. It becomes cold at evening so take a jacket with you.

Just the ride to the...
Just the ride to the desert was already worth it. The calm, beautiful setup for tea and dinner was lovely and seeing so many stars was amazing.

Amazing good fun
Fantastic experience, was amazing to see the desert and watch the sun go down. Our driver was a real adventurer who drove us fast across the desert so we could feel all the bumps in the road, it was an amazing experience and all of us in the back of the jeep loved it. Sadly it was cloudy for our star gazing but the knowledge of our guide was great and made up for not having as great a view. Overall an amazing experience!

Life threatening ride
Everything about the trip was memorable but not all for the right reasons. It was well organised, the dessert scenery was dramatic, we met lovely people, saw Jupiter and Saturn (with rings) however our driver was a maniac.
At first going out into the dessert during the day was bumpy as you would expect but made worse by our driver, we think his name was Girbir, not sticking to the same route as the other jeeps. Coming back at night was a totally different experience as he cut through the dessert at great speed, dodging boulders and large rocks by inches, on many occasions his hands weren’t on the steering wheel and he turned off the headlights which was not only frightening but dangerous. He was obviously showing off not only to the eight passengers onboard but to the two young lads in the front with him.
This guy basically spoiled our day out but more seriously, one day his antics will catch up with him and could result in tragic consequences He needs reining in.

Great content, poor execution
There's lot of great content within this package and it is worth it for the £17. However, we almost didn't go as the driver signalled my wife and I would be sitting up front, in the passenger seat, both of us! He said it was a two seater, it 100% was not!
The group size is huge, we'll over 50, means a lot of queueing to look through telescopes, which then makes the star gazing a rushed exercise.
Camel ride is nonsense, again you'd have to queue for a long time to ride the camels about 10m, pointless.

Keine Kamele reiten! Ansonsten super
