We did the tour as a foursome. Booking and organization went completely uncomplicated. the tour was planned so that we were at all sights before the big rush. The guide simply showed us his Egypt, very competent and likeable. We recommend the tour without restriction.

We have again booked a tour through Memnom. This time we traveled to Luxor in a small group and again had a wonderful day. We had a very nice tour guide with excellent knowledge of German. He was able to answer all our questions and was always there to help us. We would always book again through Memnom.

After a first bad experience on a trip through our local travel agency at the hotel, we came across Memnon travel with consistently good reviews while searching the internet. The first contact and all subsequent communication was done quickly and easily via WhatsApp. Since we had to decide on another tour operator very late on site, we only had 2 days left for our day trip to Luxor, but even that Memnon travel organized for us at short notice without any problems. Within a day we received the booking confirmation after the usual sending of our passport details and then paid for the trip in Luxor directly in cash to our guide. We were very lucky to get the same great team consisting of Ahmed and Nasch as the previous review from Austria and were also totally thrilled! We had a very calm and prudent driver who, despite desert sandstorm and unusual light rain in the middle of the desert, brought us home safely. And with Nasch as a Ph.D. Egyptologist (professor with numerous book publications), we had a perfectly German-speaking tour guide on site who worked out a great excursion program for us. Nasch told all topics interestingly and humorously and also answered our questions perfectly. After consultation with him, we also changed our sightseeing program and were always in front of the coaches at the historical sites. It was very hot in the Valley of the Kings at noon, but we still enjoyed being undisturbed and almost all alone in the tombs. Also for the Nile crossing we had our own private boat all for ourselves and our guide. The food during the trip was also excellent. Our driver had ice-cold drinks in the boot of the car all day and the typical Egyptian food at El Waha restaurant was one of the best and most authentic food of our holiday. Our tip. Be sure to choose the typical Egyptian and not the European food! All in all, the private day trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor was great and perfectly organized. We liked everything very much: good, reliable driver, excellent guide, great program and very delicious food. We can therefore recommend Memnon Reisen 100% and with the great offers you should bear in mind that they are completely private tours away from the crowds in the buses or vans. This means: private transport with a spacious, air-conditioned car, direct round-trip transport to the hotel, your own driver and tour guide for the whole day, no tedious, lengthy hotel journeys, no waiting times for other guests and a flexible sightseeing program. We booked a day trip from Marsa Alam to Luxor as a couple in mid-August. Our driver Ahmed picked us up from the hotel at 4:00 in the morning and brought us back safely around 19:00. Ahmed did the many traffic stops along the way, so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Drinks were included on the ride and always chilled. Our personal guide Naschaat was an incredible addition that day. With his knowledge, he changed the chronological sequence of our program items somewhat after consultation, so that we could often visit the historical sites undisturbed by the masses. His incredible knowledge beyond classical books fascinated us and allowed us to dive into unprecedented depths of hieroglyphics and ancient Egypt. We first visited the Karnak temple, visited the Memnon statues, had lunch earlier to cross the Nile by boat. In order to visit three tombs in the Valley of the Kings almost undisturbed, we did without a more detailed Nile trip. It was really worth it. We were almost alone in the graves around noon. Naschaat offered us an alternative to Hatsheput Temple, which we would always choose again. Our trust in the proposals and the organizer as a whole was fully fulfilled.

A highly recommended trip was promised to us and this felt like it. A relaxed arrival and departure with a very safe driver. An exciting and never boring individual journey through contemporary history with our guide Malik, who found an informed and suitable answer to every question or supported it with accompanying material. We found Memnon Reisen by chance on the Internet and simply asked a non-binding inquiry. The answer was prompt and all further questions were answered quickly and in detail. Great Service! The driver was punctual, reliable and very friendly. He chauffeured us safely and quickly all day. Our guide Malik has captivated us from the beginning with his stories. We learned an incredible amount from Him and he was very attentive and always tried to make us as comfortable as possible.
