Around 5:30 a.m. we take a short break in a restaurant. We arrive in Cairo around 8 a.m. and first take a small city tour of old Cairo so that you can get to know real life in Egypt better. Then we visit the Egyptian Museum, the treasury of 7000 years of civilization. We had a private 1 day tour to Cairo by plane from Hurghada. We really enjoyed the trip. I found the pyramids the most interesting. Thanks to the tour guide who kept taking family photos for us. The museum was a bit too much for the children. Since we had come by plane, we still had enough time for the bazaar.

For our first trip to Egypt, we were looking for an organizer for nice excursions and came across Memnon Reisen because of the many good reviews. We booked a few excursions from Germany, which were very quick and easy to organize with Osman via WhatsApp. These included the trip on the glass-bottom boat (highly recommended for non-divers) and a one-day flight to Cairo - exclusively for two people. Our expectations were exceeded every time. The day in Cairo in particular, with the visit to the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, was simply incredible. The transfers were always on time and very friendly. Greetings at this point to Ali I and Ali II, who looked after us very nicely and friendly during the trip to and from the airport. At the airport in Cairo, Essam, our tour guide and Egyptologist, met us with a driver and an air-conditioned minibus. We went straight to the pyramids and the Sphinx. Our tour guide explained everything worth knowing and interesting, took us away from the tourist crowds and showed us the best photo spots, which made the visit to the pyramids a breathtaking experience for us. After the excellent lunch, Essam led us through the Egyptian Museum. There was no year or pharaoh name that he didn't remember - incredible knowledge, which we absorbed with enthusiasm. Optionally, we could spontaneously take a Nile cruise, of course again on a boat just for us. To round things off, we visited the famous Khan Elkhalil Bazaar, after which we were taken back to the airport in a private minibus, exhausted and happy. We would book this tour again and again and will never forget the day with Essam, the best companion and Egyptologist! In the hotel, these tours are more expensive and can be booked in groups with many other people. Therefore, our decision to book an exclusive tour with Memnon was worth its weight in gold! Many thanks to the whole team, we'll see you again. 🫶🏽

Perfect communication and planning of the trip. We had 2 great drivers and a super friendly guide who was able to tell us a lot about Cairo and the pyramids/pharaohs. Afterwards we went to an Egyptian restaurant. We were completely satisfied and were able to start our return journey

This was our second trip with Memnon Travel. After we were in Luxor last year, this time we went to Cairo. The tour was very well organized. Our driver Nasser picked us up on time at the hotel in Hurghada and took us safely to Cairo. There he first took us on a city tour before our guide Magdy joined us. He led us through the Egyptian Museum and showed us the highlights. Then we went to the pyramids and the Sphinx. Magdy is a walking encyclopedia and answered all of our questions. Afterwards we went to an Egyptian restaurant in Cairo where we reviewed our experiences over a very good lunch. After we said goodbye to Magdy, Nasser brought us safely back to the hotel in Hurghada. It was a great trip and I can fully recommend Memnon Reisen. On our next vacation in Egypt we will book another excursion with Menon Reisen.

We booked the private trip from hurghada to Kairo and it was simply amazing. The driver picked us up and drove us safely trough the traffic (and crazy stresst in Cairo). Our german tour guide Maghdi was like a professor for Egyptian history and showed us the national museum and all the great spots in Cairo. We can highly recommend this tour!

Booking the excursion was easy via WhatsApp. There is always a personal contact person available before the start of the excursion who can answer all questions quickly. Our contact person (Osman) organized the excursion perfectly. The excursion was great. The nice taxi driver (Mohammed) took us safely to Cairo and back to the hotel in an air-conditioned car. The guide (Magdy) was super friendly and competent. You could adapt the day's program to your own wishes. He told the story of the pyramids and the Sphinx in an exciting and entertaining way. The delicious, typically Egyptian lunch (which our western stomachs could handle) and the included drinks kept you fed all day. What you have to accept is the long car journey, but it was worth it for the end result. We would like to thank Memnon Reisen for organizing the successful excursion.

We did the 2-day tour of Cairo & Luxor from Hurghada by plane. There were four of us traveling with small children. From the advance emails to the pick-up at the hotel/airport, the trip to the many sights and the return trip by private car, everything went wonderfully 👍🏻. Even our special requests were taken into account (car seats for the little ones, because there is no obligation to use car seats in Egypt). Our guides in Cairo (big compliments to Markus!) and in Luxor spoke German extremely well and both had extensive knowledge of the city, its history, Egyptology and a lot more knowledge around it, so that after these 2 days we returned to our hotel packed with a lot of knowledge and lots of great photos! Organization and execution top notch 👍🏻 We felt safe at all times & the two drivers took us safely from place to place! We would also like to thank you for that 🙏🏻 We can recommend this tour without reservation 👍🏻
