Cairo Museum, Sphinx, Pyramids, Bazaar and City Tour
We booked the trip from Marsa Alam to Cairo via Hurghada and were absolutely thrilled!
The pick-up directly from the hotel was punctual and perfectly organized, the transfer to Hurghada went completely smoothly. The flight to Cairo was pleasant and we were immediately warmly welcomed there by our travel companion Jakob.
The day's program in Cairo was just great: Visiting the Egyptian Museum with many exciting impressions, experiencing the majestic pyramids and the Sphinx live was an absolute highlight. We also enjoyed the city tour of Cairo and the visit to the bazaar incredibly and provided an authentic insight into the city.
Everything was perfectly planned – from transfer to on-site support. Jakob was an excellent companion, always friendly, attentive and with a lot of knowledge about the country and people.
We were taken back to the airport in the evening relaxed and everything worked really smoothly.
An absolutely clear recommendation for all who are in Egypt and want to experience an unforgettable trip to Cairo! 🌟

Great trip to Cairo
Today's trip to Cairo with Memnon travel was a complete success.
Punctual pickup at the hotel. Clean air-conditioned shuttle bus. The drivers super nice.
Highlight was our super friendly guide Magdy. He has incredible knowledge of the history of Egypt. His stories were very interesting and entertaining. Then the day flew by.
I don't have to write anything extra about the pyramids. They're very impressive.

Perfect!!!!!
We were in Egypt for the first time (+ two children 7 & 1). Our hotel complex was in Marsa Alam - but we didn't want to let it take us away while we're there to see the pyramids. So we booked the day trip from Germany. We were picked up on time and brought back on time. Everything really worked smoothly. At the hotel, the tour operators still tried to unsettle us and cancel the trip as it was on their own & unsafe and dangerous. We didn't let that detract from us & had one of the most beautiful days of our lives. We were picked up by an air-conditioned mini bus. They even thought about setting up a child seat according to EU standards. In total we had 4 drivers who took turns in Hurghada. Since it was 8 h drive... the drivers were fit and slept at all times, so we never felt unsafe and could sleep at any time. The local lunch was great. We don't even need to start our German-speaking tour guide the nobility. The guy is legendary!! All in all, everything was perfect from start to finish! Absolute but really absolute recommendation. Everyone was so friendly, accommodating etc. I never thought everything would work out so perfectly, especially with two children. Thanks to Memnon travel we will always keep Egypt positive in our hearts

Exceptional guided experience! ⭐️
My partner and I booked a full day excursion to Cairo from Hurghada. Our driver, Beshou, picked us up promptly in a clean and air conditioned vehicle and offered us cold drinks. He made sure that we stopped regularly for comfort breaks as it was a long drive. We met our guide, Hani, at the pyramids. Hani immediately put us at ease: he sorted all of our tickets, kept us away from the crowds and any unwanted attention, shared his expert knowledge (over 30 years of experience as a guide with a degree from the University of Cairo) with us and also made sure to get lots of photos for our memories. After spending time at each pyramid, we viewed the sphinx before heading for lunch: a buffet with hot and cold foods. Once we had cooled off and recharged, Hani guided us around the museum and we were able to see lots of incredible artefacts including the findings from Tutankhamen’s tomb! Sadly, it was time to bid Hani goodbye and drive back to Hurghada with Beshou.
As it was our first time visiting Egypt, we were a little unsure what to expect from the excursions we booked online but it is safe to say that this trip definitely exceeded our expectations! Hani’s genuine love for Egyptian history and his passion to share it with the world really did make this trip extra special.

Excursion from Hurghada to Cairo and Luxor
We travelled as a family to Hurghada and left the organization to Cairo and Luxor by plane and hotel booking as well as transfer completely to Memnon.
Super organized, punctual and reliable we were guided by the driver and guide through our complete desired program.
In addition to lots of interesting information about the country, people and culture, we were able to laugh a lot and always felt very comfortable.
It was very well spoken German and the rides were all air conditioned and we were provided with cool drinks and many goodies.
We are so happy to have found this travel agency, we really had every wish read from our eyes.
The trip was definitely adapted to our needs and wishes as a family.
So great to be able to experience everything under such expert and warm guidance/direction.

Best Tour Operator in Egypt
Over 650 Google reviews and none of them are negative. Like some reviewers before us, this surprised us, and we searched for the often cited body in the basement. So as not to increase the tension too much: there are none. Memnon Travel just keeps what they promise. On-time hotel pickup, hassle-free transfer to the airport, pickup at the destination airport, we couldn't have asked for it better.
Our driver Ahmed navigated us safely through Cairo’s chaotic traffic and always provided us with fresh, cool drinks, while tour guide Jacob impressed us with incredibly deep and broad knowledge. The stroll through the old town was terrific - not to mention the best breakfast of our lives. Jacob navigated us to the exhibits in the museum and brought us closer to Egyptian history - as well as outside the museum - also in the context of world history. Whether pyramids, necropolis or old town, Jacob lives his enthusiasm for his city and his job. With it, you experience Cairo up close, see one or the other that might be hidden during another tour, and feel a special connection to the city and history.
Of course you can see Cairo on your own, but then you lack the wealth of information you get on a guided tour. You can also opt for another provider and run the risk that you have seen little in the end, but bought a lot of perfume or papyrus instead, which has already been confirmed in the exchange with one or the other fellow traveler. For us, this tour was worth every penny, and if we could, we would award ten stars.
