After visiting the Pyramids of Giza, visit the Great Sphinx, by far the largest surviving sphinx. It consists of a human head on the body of a lion. The Sphinx was carved from the remains of a limestone hill that served as a quarry for the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Felucca cruise on the Nile is available for a fee.
Around 4am you will be picked up from your hotel. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by your guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.

The further course of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The tour of the pyramids ends at the Sphinx and the temple surrounding it. At the end of the day, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to go shopping before embarking on the return journey to Hurghada.
If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned car.
If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be helpful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt. (These visits depend on the time remaining.)
Afterwards, your mind needs some rest. You can, for example, relax with a boat trip on the Nile and discover Cairo from the water.

This trip was amazing. I highly recommend it. Every part was guided, full of information, and our guide was absolutely perfect.The lunch was good quality food and the overall experience was exciting rather than stressful. I highly recommend as a female travelling alone with children

Lots of photo opportunities Decent lunch Museum was great Cons Hidden costs from booking - check what you have paid for - i thought everything covered and had to pay extra £140 for entrance tickets before trip... Too much time wasted on optionals such as the camel/carraige ride at pyramids - if you like photos fair enough - extra charge upfront and then drivers want tips too Not enough time to explore pyramids and soak in history - hubby super disappointed Guide did not give enough historical story of pyramids Nile cruise cost optional but not really as would be sat waiting in the bus Conclusion Glad i went, was wary of booking all myself in case access not guaranteed so would probably on balance still go with a tour. Still a fantastic day, but could have been better.

A long day, but well worth it for the experience. Early morning flight to Cairo on a propeller plane (bit of an experience!) we were then picked up and taken to meet our tour guide Fahme who was brilliant throughout the day. Boat trip on The Nile, museum visit, lunch and then on to Pyramids and Sphinx. We did the optional horse and cart ride and our guide took amazing photos for us. A couple of sales pitches throughout the day, but it all added to the experience. Would highly recommend the trip. Could maybe have been given better instructions for the airports as it wasn’t easy to navigate, but all in all we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent trip. Easy transfer to the airport and through security, flight no problem. Pick up at airport a little delayed but our driver was superb & the tour guide, Fahmi, so incredibly knowledgeable, interesting and friendly. Long day but well worth it 😊

Best tour ever! Our trip to Cairo was completely successful! Everything was perfectly organized so we could enjoy the tour to the fullest. We would like to highlight our tour guide Moukhtar in a particularly positive way. He was extremely competent, friendly and guided us through the various sights with a lot of knowledge and exciting information. Thanks to his explanations, we got a deep insight into the history and culture of the place. We can absolutely recommend this trip and thank you for the great experience!

Highly recommended. Very professionally designed tour. Fahmi is a very experienced and very reliable guide, everyone knows him at the sights and he is very respected by his colleagues and compatriots. The drivers were very good and transported us safely through Cairo.

Excellent tour guide (George) very knowledgeable! Main point for this tour is the fact that you are trying to cram too much into a day that involves getting to the airport in time for return flight. If the flight in the morning was around 6am as it is a lot of time, it would probably be a more relaxing experience. As our flight did not land in Cairo till 1030 in the morning and having to contend with the traffic in Cairo, we felt rushed around the whole day.

A great experience started at 2:45 a.m. hotel pickup. We started in Cairo in the old town with super impressive old buildings. Afterwards we drove to the Nile and were able to book a Nile trip for 10.00 €. About 1 hour we drove on the Nile. Which was super nice.Afterwards we went to the pyramids with the option to ride camel. We were told a lot about the story. Ahmed was very detailed. We then had 45 minutes to walk around the pyramid. We just looked at the Sphinx as well. Then we went to lunch and afterwards we could marvel at the new museum. Ahmed was also very detailed and told many facts.Afterwards we had 1 hour, 45 minutes left here in the museum. It wasn't a sales event, very relaxed and even if you didn't want to, you could find a meeting place and enjoy the free time. We would definitely recommend it. Everything worked out great. The admissions were all included and also not a long queue, buses were there immediately. Everything worked out fine. However, you have to be prepared for an early pick-up time.
