At 5:30 we were picked up from the hotel. Shortly afterwards Hussein joined us and accompanied us on our way to Luxor. Arriving in Luxor, we first visited the Karnak Temple. Hussein briefly and concisely explained the story behind it. He was always careful to always look for a shaded spot in the warmth. Hussein was still leading us through the temple complex at a time when the large tourist streams were not yet on the way. When they came, we were on our way back. Perfectly organized. Then we went to the Valley of the Kings. Again, we received great information about the Pharaoh period. After visiting 3 grave sites and a small drinking break we went to the stonemason village. The viewing was interesting and anyone who wanted to could buy a souvenir or two at the store for their home. The highlight of the day was a visit to Hussein's family. There we were warmly welcomed and were allowed to experience a local lunch together. Everything was very tasty. After that we were also allowed to get to know the pets. After a small shopping stop in a papyrus shop, we went on a private tour on a small ship on the Nile. Everything was quiet here, in contrast to the hectic traffic. We were even able to show Hussein a spotted kingfisher that he did not yet know. After an hour we headed for the opposite bank and were there expected by the driver, who brought us safely back to the hotel. During the round trip you could participate very well in Egyptian life on the wayside, on the roads and villages and in the fields and collect many lasting impressions. When we visit Egypt again, Ahmet and Hussein are the guides of our choice. We've learned a lot. Thank you very much for that.

Ahmed had us picked up by a private taxi bus at 5am. After about 3 hours we were welcomed in Luxor by Ahmend. Very warm and happy. First we visited the Luxor Temple. Ahmed explained and showed us everything in perfect German. For the children, 7 and 12, it was very exciting. And if it wasn’t exciting for the little one for a short while, Ahmed was able to motivate and inspire her again and again. Then we went to the Valley of the Kings, where we were allowed to visit 3 tombs. Ahmed took care of the tickets and explained to us how the graves were created. Unfortunately, Guide are not allowed in the graves but that did not bother us further. In hindsight Ahmed told us that next time we should visit the valley of the officials and valley of the workers, unfortunately we did not visit them anymore due to time constraints. But next time....! Then we went to a stonemason. There, the children could choose something. Attention, prices very high and negotiate one must. Tip: things are usually cheaper at the airport. Finally Ahmed invited us to his house. We got traditional food and drinks prepared by his wife. This was a very special highlight for the children and we got to know his family. My tip: definitely do it, the children still talk about this visit today When the children wanted to ride camels at short notice Ahmed organized a horseback ride. 40 minutes through fields along the Nile. That was a crowning achievement. Then we went back on the Nile and we drove along the hotels, which was a welcome cool-off. After the very warm farewell, the driver then took us back to the hotel. Conclusion: Ahmed is a very nice and knowledgeable guide. Recommendation 100%!

A unique experience! We took a two-day tour from Hurghada to Luxor as a couple. We were a little skeptical at first about confiding in strangers in a foreign country. You've heard so many things. But after talking to Ahmed and reading the reviews here, we were convinced it was safe. We were picked up early in the morning in Hurghada, exactly at the agreed time. We went to Luxor in a comfortable and mint minibus. After our arrival at the Luxor temple we visited it together. That was very impressive. Then we went on to the Valley of the Kings. Again, we were very competently introduced to Egyptian history. Ahmed studied Egyptology and can answer any - really any - question. Honestly, I can't think of a better Egyptian guide. Ahmed speaks very good German. And no matter what desire you have, it will be fulfilled. Ahmed is in good hands. After a visit to the stonemason village (here objects from different types of rock are really still made by hand - must be seen) we went to the family and ate there. We ate exactly what the “normal” Egyptian eats every day – and in a family environment. That alone is a very special experience - Egypt live! In the evening we visited the inner city of Luxor after dinner - also incredibly delicious. We were always accompanied and advised by Hussein. The next morning we did an unforgettable hot air balloon tour. Afterwards we had breakfast with the family and then sightseeing again. Finally we went back to Hurghada. We are still impressed with this tour. We can only highly recommend this tour to anyone who really wants to get to know Egypt. You get to know the real Egypt. You understand how Egyptians live, work and think. You can immerse yourself in this great culture for this time! We'll never forget that!

An unforgettable day in Luxor! We were picked up at the hotel on time. The ride flew by. The whole day was super organized by Ahmed. The children were enthusiastic, even a camel ride, at the request of my daughter, was spontaneously organized by Ahmed. Lunch with his family was the highlight of the day and will certainly be remembered for a long time. So if you want to visit Luxor and experience something, Ahmed is the place to be!

Today we were with Hussein who was our guide in the morning. Hussein was extremely kind to us and told us the stories of the places we visited with great passion and charisma. We were in the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Habu Temple in Luxor. To complete the experience in Luxor, he invited us to have lunch at his house, which was extremely kind considering that his whole family is fasting to be in Ramadan which is the Holy Month. And then the exceptional food. Better impossible. I recommend taking this and other tours with them.

It was a long but I was very glad I got up early. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the ancient Egyptian history. The tour started at Luxor temple then we went the the valley of the kings. Launch was out of this world it was local style food at the tour guide house with his extended family, who were very hospitable even though it was Ramadan and only the children could eat. All in all I would defiantly recommend this trip

Today has been an unforgettable day. I cannot express truly, how special and wonderful our trip was. From the moment we spoke to Hussein, he was very honest and explained in detail our itinerary and what we would see and experience. We were shown the sites by Ahmed, who was the most attentive and knowledgeable guide. His English was impeccable and the information he gave us told the story of his Egyptian heritage and the amazing ancient people. For me personally it was the authenticity of this experience that you could not ever get with any other tour. We were given an insight into a typical home life when he invited us to join him and his lovely family for a genuine Egyptian lunch, which was so delicious and all sourced from his families farm. From the homemade cows cheese and the best aubergine I have ever tasted, this was another highlight of the day. The family were so inviting and friendly which made us feel very welcome. The Luxor temple and the Valley of the Kings were spectacular and my visions of what it would be like were exceeded. We were also given access to areas - because of the family connections not offered to all visitors. The day is packed but you are also treated to a relaxing boat tour of the stunning Nile in a traditional boat in the afternoon. From Hurghada the journey is long, but the transport was very comfortable with air conditioning and both the driver and his companion were friendly and looked after us well. In all this trip has been a day I shall Never forget - from start to end - well organised and good value. Thank you to brothers Hussein and Ahmed (ElDeak Tours) and their family for an amazing day.

We did a tour with Ahmed to Luxor and Cairo. With his friendly and open nature, he could inspire us from the first encounter. No question from our side remained unanswered and he was able to leave a lasting impression on us through in-depth expertise about his home country and culture. Above all, its temporal organization is to be emphasized. We didn't have to wait a second for the bus and one highlight followed another.
