Pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, Travel to Alexandria. Start the tour with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world – now with 8 million books. Visit President Sadat Museum and visit the open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the first, which was found underwater nearby. Our guide will explain the design of the library from outside, you will have a chance for some photo stops. Note: Alexandria library is closed on Fridays ,Saturdays & in public holidays. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase a ticket.
Visiting the insides of the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock
You will also drive by Pompay's Pillar and stop for a photo stop, (it was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century)
We will walk by the excavation site of the Old Roman City of Alexandria, including Roman villas, the Amphitheater Ruins, Alexandria's Great Tomb excavation site, and various ruins. Please note that we will not be visiting the interior of these sites but will enjoy an external view while our guide shares insights into their historical significance.

Continue your tour by passing through the oldest market area in Mansheya and see the traditional womens’ markets (zan’et etsetat) with very thin and narrow streets, gold market also exists here where everyone buys their wedding and engagement jewellery.

The car will then transport you to the most beautiful and largest mosque in the city, allowing for a photo stop at the Abbo Elabbas Mosque.Walk by the oldest funfair in Egypt
Opposite is the corniche and the old harbour where you can see the old fishing boats, men fishing and traditional fishermen making nets. The photos taken here are amazing. Continue to see the outside of Quaitbay castle which was built on the same site as the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria one of the seven wonders of ancient world . A most spectacular castle which is a great photo stop.
Once in Montaza Gardens, commonly known as the Love Garden (all romantic couples and families go there) you will visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as walk along the famous Montaza bridge and reach the Tea Palace island and see the royal beaches of the queens. Then travel in comfort back to your hotel in Cairo.

Our guide, Mohammed, is working on his PhD, so he practically grew up in the library, which is where the tour started. He is very knowledgeable and seems to know everyone in town! The tour hit lots of sites in this city that is both ancient and modern. The catacombs are not to be missed!

I wasn't sure what to expect, as I had booked a driver only, but Karim was a breath of fresh air. He was very knowledgeable, amusing, and full of energy. I paid the relevant entry fees, as requested, and the tour progressed as normal. We visited the Gardens, the Mosque, the Cathedral, and the Catacombs. As well as Alexandria library, which is spectacular. I even managed a small diversion to the Cab D'Or, which was a personal homage to the movie 'Ice Cold in Alex'! All in all, an exciting and worthwhile experience. 10/10!

Our guide Karim was very knowledgeable and full of enthusiasm and energy . He was very friendly and tried to keep us amused . We visited many places in this tour . The pace was good and the transportation was comfortable. The lunch of grilled seabass was also great.

We had a fantastic time. Muhammad was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating, but definitely use him again. He brought us to some local places and even got us some local tea and coffee to have. We had our driver for two days and he was great.

We expected a French tour guide but none was available so we got an English speaking one and we had received audios about the history of the visited places and I speak English so I could translate everything to my family, a really good and human experience with a really great guide. The driver was also very nice too ! Thank you Mohammed for this tour !

The tour is nice, the guide tried very hard to help us, but when you select a tour in French, it is for a good reason... upon arrival, an English-speaking guide was there, thanks to the internet and Google Translate, but we exceeded our data limit, unfortunately, the visit to the citadel did not happen.
