Must see in Cairo
Our guide Eid had a lot of experience and knowledge of the ancient world but we also had very interesting talks about modern Egypt, culture, religion, etc. Third time in Egypt for me but first time in Saqqara which has been a spectacular discovery, super recommended

Rare teaching trip
Rarely educational! The day before we had a tour of the pyramids of Giza. The pieces fell in place when we took part in this tour. Incredibly exciting to climb 60 and 80 meters down the two oldest pyramids. This trip was really teaching. Skilled driver and a very knowledgeable and engaging guide, Abraham. He also managed to communicate with and engage our three young people on this trip. Can really be recommended.

A great day at Sakkara ,Dahshur and Memphis
We had a good learning experience visiting the oldest pyramids in Egypt. Our guide Ibrahim was very informative and helpful introducing us to the Step pyramid and tombs of Sakkara . Following this we had a visit to Dahshur to learn about the 5 pyramids - the Red pyramid , the White pyramid , the Black pyramid , the Bent pyramid and the only pyramid built for a pharaoh s wife . Finally we had a visit to Memphis and ended the tour with a lovely lunch overlooking the Giza pyramids. Thank you to Ibrahim and Hosein for a wonderful day

Excellent guide & tour
What a brilliant day from start to finish .We were met on time by Ibrahim our guide and Hosein our driver. At all times they were friendly ,courteous ,professional & very knowledgeable. If there is anything you want to know about Egypt’s pyramids &history Ibrahim is your man.In Sakkara we were introduced to the first of many pyramids and tombs . We entered some of the tombs and saw walls covered with beautiful illustrations of daily life and hieroglyphics. We were appreciative of Ibrahim’s knowledge in explaining them
Leaving Sakara we went on to Dahshur and was introduced to each of the 5 pyramids …the Red pyramid ,the Black pyramid ,the White pyramid ,The Bent pyramid & the Pyramid built for the wife of the pharaoh . Each one had a story to tell .
This part of the day we learnt about the history of the earliest stone built pyramids .
We then moved on to Memphis the old capital of Egypt where the lower and upper kingdoms meet . Here we were introduced to statues of Ramases 2 and an enormous structure of a Sphinx. By this time our knowledge of ancient Egypt had increased enormously and after nearly seven hours Hosein &Ibrahim took us to a loverly restaurant where we had a truly enjoyable Egyptian meal and view of the pyramids.
In addition Ibrahim was a great photographer and we have some great shots of ourselves !
This was a MAGNIFICENT tour which we would fully recommend to anyone.

Wonderful, authentic private daytour to Saqqara, Dashur, Memphis away from the crowds.
Had a wonderful private daytour with my guide Ibrahim and our driver Sam to the impressive Saqqara and Dashur pyramids/ tombs as well as to Memphis, concluding the day with a delicious meal. Everything was taking care of, no additional admission fees. Ibrahim really knows his ways around, avoiding the big tour groups and possible scams. Sometimes we where the only persons around, giving me a chance to fully take in the wonders around us. Important note: no papyrus or perfume shops, not even mentioned. It was just a private, authentic, welcoming experience that felt like chatting with an old friend while strolling through history. Sam, the driver, also did the impossible by paving us a way through the chaotic traffic at a relaxed pace and with a friendly relaxed vibe and manner. This whole expirience: totally recommended.

Excellent full day tour that included more than I expected
My partner and I had a full day tour of the southern pyramid complex, a highlight of our whole trip. Ahmad Tika was very organized and generous with time and information, and subsequently helped us arrange transportation for other parts of our later non-guided tours on our trip later, so he is a good contact to have for anything you need. The Saqqara complex is vast so it's good to have a guide to point out the main features to you and look at the main areas of the Step pyramid, surrounding tombs. I was most delighted about the souther Dahshur pyramids which it seemed that almost no crowds attended: these are newly refurbished for the inner chambers and provided a unique non-crowded experience to crawl inside the Red and Bent pyramids. The local scenery along the way was interesting and back-road, to see the real Egypt. Finally he took us to the triumvirate of gift storesn afterwards, which was good to do the first day as we didn't have too many chances to shop later: papyrus, jewelry, and oils (we got a little of each). Lunch was somewhat late but filling at a Pyramid view restaurant (139 pyramids lounge) which was really quite nice. I think we spent over 8 hours with the guide and walked away with a very full first day experience before we went on our group tour the next day.

Tour to Pyramids in Saqqara
The trip to three different locations was really an experience. It was particularly exciting to “crawl” into the pyramids. With Bassant we had a very well informed and enthusiastic guide. She was able to explain so many more details. We've learned a lot. The lunch together in a typical Egyptian restaurant was also particularly nice. Afterwards Bassant took us back to the hotel via an extended walk through Cairo city centre.

Day trip to saqqara, Memphis, and dahshur pyramids.
When I booked this tour. I didn’t expect to learn so many things about the other pyramids around Egypt. IBRAHIM ALLAM was super passionate about the history and guide us around the pyramids really well. The driver Ahmed was great and knew the road around really well. This experience was very intimate.
