It is time to discover the secret of the grand pyramid and explore what is really inside. You will experience a unique private tour in private time (non-official opening time of the pyramids area) your private professional Egyptologist will pick you up from your hotel. On the way to the pyramids, you will see the attractive streets of Egypt in the early morning with different eyes. Once you arrive in the pyramids area no one will be there except you and your guide. You will see the pyramids as you've never seen them before.

Now it is time to go inside the great pyramid. you will enter from ascending passageway to King's chamber. It is the room near the top of the Great Pyramid is known as the King’s Chamber. Within the chamber lies a red granite sarcophagus. you can lie inside it for moments. During ascending to the King’s chamber you will visit the grand gallery is passage access to the royal burial chambers. This passage is also called the mysterious passage.

After that, we will go to the queen's chamber. It was built to be the burial chamber for a queen. In case the Khufu Pyramid is closed due to the restoration, we will visit the Pyramid of Khafra or the Pyramid of Menkaure according to availability.

Then we will use descending passageway to visit the subterranean chamber (the pit). When you enter the chamber you will see the modern barrier that is against the east wall of the chamber. Around the back, on the south wall, is a grating covering another small passageway that leads to a dead end. The entire chamber has been carved out of the very bedrock that the pyramid rests upon.

Tour Date: 14 May 2025 | Giza Plateau Tour Rating: Sights 10/10 – Guide 6/10 The Giza Plateau is simply magnificent. Entering the Great Pyramid of Khufu, viewing the Sphinx, and taking in the panoramic vantage points were all standout moments. The logistics were smooth, and the operator was polite and responsive in the lead-up to the tour. That said, as a solo traveller paying £192, I expected a more thoughtful and immersive experience. Unfortunately, the guide seemed more focused on pushing add-ons — camel rides, additional day trips — than delivering depth on the tour itself. Historical context felt rushed and superficial, glossing over the richness that makes these sites so compelling. Also worth noting: the guide launched into a high-speed overview of Egyptian history the moment we got in the car. At 8:00 AM, most guests are still waking up — the last thing you want is to be handed maps and bombarded with information en route. That kind of context belongs in the setting of the Giza complex itself, where it can actually resonate. If you’re after Instagram stops and a whistle-stop overview, this may suit you. But for something more enriching and less commercially driven, I’d look elsewhere.

The pyramids
The visit to the Giza Pyramids site was very successful because we were accompanied by a great guide. It was impressive to find yourself in our book of antiquity history!

Remarkable day
Great visit. The guide was very knowledgeable about his subject and he answered all our questions. The driver was very friendly. It’s really impressive to be able to get inside the pyramids. You should not miss this experience if you go to Gized. Thank you for this wonderful visit.

Cairo-Giza-Luxor
A visit of an inside of The Great Pyramid was one of 3 visits of a pyramids inside I did during my 6 days stay in Egypt. And this one was a must for me. You should expect a big crowd (there are always many tourist visiting), a high air temperature and humidity inside (even in January you can be in a shirt or T-shirt), fascinating stone and engineering work, and very good adventure if you put just a bit of personal imagination in it! My tours to Sakkara, Memphis, Luxor, Karnak, Sacred valley, Hatshepsut and Dandara temples and a Hot Air Baloon flight were all organized by Mrs. Zahra who was always ready to help and to adjust the itinerary according to my preferences. She is extremly dedicated to make you always feel supported which is very helpful, especially for a first-time Egypt visitors. All these went great (hotel accomodations, all transfers, all the Tour Guides, etc.). There were no issues. I can wormheartedly recommend.

Fabulous day, well planned and delivered
It was amazing revisiting the Pyramids with my family, after having experienced them as a 10 year old. The planning (thank you Zahraa) was seamless, our guide Aref was wonderful. We had lunch at Khufu’s and also took a horse carriage ride to the 9 Pyramids viewpoint. An incredible day.

very poor
The guide didn't even have our tickets. We had only 2 hours visit instead of 4, we already started with 1 hour late, very little explanation, little accompaniment, most things done alone, no bottle of water as planned in the program and we did not take with us thinking we are given some. Forced to pay extras, when it's already too expensive! disappointed

Unforgettable experience… :)
I will just copy here what I have written to our travel consultant Shahd before we left Egypt: Hi Shahd. We have really enjoyed your people’s company and the whole experience in Cairo (plus Alexandria for me) is just something beyond anything. Especially for me as I needed to spend some peaceful time in the King’s Chamber in the Giza Pyramid —- which I got to. The Universe supported us all on this path combined with our energies working in the same direction.
