Beginning with a pickup from your hotel or another designated place in Cairo or Giza between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, we will be boarding a comfortable air-conditioned car for a pleasant 100-minute journey to the Wadi El Rayan Desert following a photo stop at Qarun Lake, considered the oldest natural lake in the world.
Continuing the journey, you shall experience the exhilaration of a desert adventure. After boarding the 4X4 car for a dune drive adventure, enjoy the thrill of gliding over yellow, soft sand before stopping to enjoy sandboarding. Next, you visit the Wadi El Rayan waterfalls and have the chance to admire the stunning views in the center of the desert. You also have the opportunity to enjoy a camel ride or horse ride along the banks of Wadi El Rayan Lake. If you're lucky, you could see some desert animals, such as the slender-horned gazelle, before stopping to photograph the stunning Mudawara Mountains for panoramic views of Wadi El Rayan Lake. We had many activities in this tour, and they made sure we had our say for the level of activity we were looking for. Helped us take many fun photos as well. Beautiful area and it was wonderful to see something outside of the cities like this.

5 stars!! Amazing experience in a completely new biome! The nice tourguide communinicates via WhatsApp, is very thoughtful and reacts very fast. You will be picked up and dropped off at your sleeping location, which makes this an relaxing all inclusive experience. In the bus we got to choose our own music. The ride takes you into the dessert where you switch to the 4x4 vehicle, this rides takes you on an adventure across the sand dunes. During this ride you find a nice spot to go sandboarding. As we where no experts on this, sitting down surfing from the dune was already a very joyful ride! The bbq lunch was delisous chicken in a local dessert village, which was very peaceful and quite. A magical experience. In addition you get to a cool viewpoint, boatride, museum or marketplace visit and a swim in the dessert, which were wonderful. In short, a care free day, you return with amazing pictures and wonderful experiences! Our guide made our trip extra special. He was friendly and relaxed and made it a personal trip with nice facts, cool stories and even nicknames ;) I would highly recommend going on this day trip. It is everything you expect and more! This was one of the best experiences of my life! Thank you to Fakhry for making this so special. Everything was as described in the details of the project. Fakhry was so friendly and easy to communicate! He also took us amazing photos! Safaring in the desert, eating with local Bedouins (I wish we stayed there for a night) and sandboarding was purely amazing! Worth every penny!

Everything was really great ! 100% satisfaction , the tour was magical , we had a loooot of fun , in every place we went with your guide and Ahmad was the best person ever !! Exhilarating experience and not for the faint-hearted! The dune bashing in the 4x4 was amazing, the camel ride excellent and the sandblasting a real experience. Enjoyed the waterfall amd delicious meal at a Bedouin desert camp. An excellent experience -just look out for the wind blowing the sand!

Pro: - The guide Rayn is very enthusiastic, prioritizes your safety, is helpful, has sense of humor and offers above standard intellectual conversations - Both drivers are safe drivers and seem quite reliable - We opted for the shared experience and were lucky that the other people were nice, friendly and funny - Leaving Caïro to enter the vast Sahara desert is a relief, because the city drains energy and the pure nature is so beautiful - 4x4 over the dunes is just awesome - Sandsurfing was quite the fun new experience, it lasted for half an hour and was more than enough for me - The camel ride is not so special, lasts for 20-25min but again, is more than enough for me - Swimming in a desert lake is a must-do, another once in a lifetime experience, and you can shower afterwards nearby - The local meal was good value food, a great new experience Con: - The final part of the trip we are taken to 2 little shops for lotions and real papyruss, where it is clear and obvious the only goal is to get tourists to spend their money. Without this unnecessary waste of time, this tour would get all its points ;-) Tip: - Bring your own scarf to shelter from the sun, otherwise you will buy an overpriced local scarf

One of the best holiday experiences I have had in years. Faser is an honest and knowledgeable guide. His English communication skills are excellent. He gave us a really well rounded understanding of Egyptian culture, economy and norms. He also sorted us out with food included in the cost of the trip. The trip itself is suitable for young and middle aged attendees. But I would personally not recommend elderly or unathletic people attending, as there is lots of obstacles to overcome. For example, Jumping on camels, climbing to viewpoints and very occasionally assisting the 4x4 out of sand mountains. We spoke about a broad range of topics with Faser, everything from personal, cultural to geo-political, while he drove and toured us around the various locations. Wadi el rayan is beautiful. Magic Lake is a vast and clear stretch of water and was nice to swim in. The viewpoints we were taken too, were also some of the best I have found abroad. The tour was very well planned and was convenient to be picked up and dropped off directly at our hotel in Cairo.
