Truly the best street food tour we have ever been on! A cannot miss, authentic experience in a very local neighborhood. It is a very great experience to try what the locals eat. Amal was very careful with us. She let us experienced authentic egyptian food. You can ask her anything. She’s very versatile because when the pizza place was very busy, she assessed that we better go to another place. She also had a lot of stories to tell about Egypt so it is not awkward at all. The tour was excellent and the guide so friendly and happy to answer any questions about regular Egyptian life. You will see so much more than the tourist spots, I would highly recommend this aside from the food itself which was wonderful! We were taken to around 8-10 separate places throughout the tour, ranging from hole in the wall establishments to actual restaurants. Overall we felt like we were provided a broad range of foods and experiences! As others mention, make sure you come come hungry! Towards the end of the tour we actually skipped a few places as we were so full. Thank you to the organizing team and amazing tour guide! Highly recommend this experience.

This tour was just awesome! The food was super tasty (and I say that as a very picky person), the atmosphere was great and Magy just managed it all great and is a very pleasant person. I just felt completely comfortable! But as a tip: Don't eat too much at the beginning, otherwise you won't be able to try everything in the end!

What a great food tour! You feel as if you're getting a true local experience with not only the food, but the neighborhood(s), the culture and the education and information given. As the previous reviews mentioned, come very very hungry because it will be a challenge to eat or try them all. Believe me when i say it is A LOT of food! What a great way to experience the Egyptian eating culture.

That was AMAZING. This tour is an once in a lifetime experience and worth every single penny. You get insights in the daily life outside the tourist tours. Magy knows not only the best food place, she was able to answer every other possible question we had. She even helped us with our transportation issues afterwards. Make sure you got an empty stomach because you're about to eat a lot of great food. The sooner you do this, the earlier you know how to navigate around Egypt.

Had a wonderful time. Great walk through a non-touristy area of Cairo, as well as a fantastic introduction to many Egyptian foods across a range of meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, deserts). Magy was a informative guide with a great plan. Would highly recommend!

Each stop offered something unique, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. What made the experience even more special was the chance to walk through local neighborhoods, markets, and street corners that gave us a real glimpse into everyday life in Cairo. It felt less like a tourist activity and more like being welcomed into the heart of the city. Our guide Magy was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about both food and culture. She shared the stories behind each dish and offered insights into local traditions, which added so much depth to the experience.

This was one of the best food tours I’ve ever had. The variety was incredible!!! so many types of foods more than 30 as advertised so take small bites if you want to savor it all without missing a thing. You get to go to vendors and restaurants that you would never find on your own. Our tour guide Sarah was brilliant, she knew so much about the area and explained everything well with so much passion. I cannot recommend this tour and Sarah enough.
