A great day
A jam packed day! My guide, Gada, was very informative. She had an answer for all of my questions. My driver, Josef, was polite and drove well. I really enjoyed the day and want to go back. It was like walking through the history books.

Excellent Private tour

Alexandria awesome… Guide not so much - Agreed
Our experience is similar to one of the other reviews. Our guide was ok but disappointing compared to our 3 other guides (Cairo/Aswan/Luxor). However, our driver from Cairo to Alexandria is very nice and friendly. Fort Qaitbey is definitely the highlight of the trip.

À ne pas refaire
Viator a fait affaires avec Emo Tours, et nous avons été déçu par cette compagnie. Circuit différent de celui inscrit sur le site Internet. Le chauffeur ne connaissait pas vraiment le trajet sur les lieux, beaucoup de détours. Départ à 6h30 du Caire et début de la première visite à Alexandrie vers 11h30. Nous avons dû payer pour une visite qui était supposément inclue dans l’excursion mais, selon le guide ne l’était pas. On devait avoir des audio-guide, ces derniers n’étaient pas disponibles. Le seul point positif, le guide (Hady) était connaissant, et a tout fait pour rendre notre excursion le plus positif possible.

Made most of unforseen circumstances
Mahmoud, our guide, was very friendly/knowledgeable and driver Abdullah very easy going. Got stuck due to fog at the gates out of Cairo to Alexandria, so had to miss/spend less time at a few sites. Wish a partial refund could've been given. Views of the Mediterranean Sea were breathtaking.

Alexandria awesome… Guide not so much.
Alexandria was wonderful to visit. Our guide was ok but disappointing compared to our 3 other guides on various tours. We were needing to ask where we were (places not well marked) when we got to sites and had to ask what was next. We thought maybe it was her first time guiding. Also twice the she gave us the cash for entry tickets and asked one of us to then use our credit card to pay the ticket taker. Is that common in Egypt? It also happened once on another 2 day tour. We thought it was odd. This is the first time of many viator tours that I’ve commented negatively about a guide.

Perfect tour of Alexandria
Everything about this tour was excellent. Starting with Ahmed our driver who was in touch the day before to introduce himself and arrange pick up from our hotel. He was on time and accommodating of our requested later pick up time. Nice clean comfortable car for 2.5 hour drive from Giza to Alexandria. Met our guide Machmoud in Alexandria. Machmoud was friendly, professional and very organised. All tickets pre booked so no waiting/queuing. Being a private tour so good, much quicker and personalised. Coordination between Machmoud and Ahmed meant easy drop offs and pick ups at venues. The perfect day tour of Alexandria. Thank you Machmoud and Ahmed

Um dia bem aproveitado para encerrar as férias
A agência Emo tours responsável pelo passeio foi extremamente pontual, esclarecendo previamente pelo whats app todos os horários envolvidos. Ainda que eu tenha solicitado um guia falando português, o que não ocorreu, o guia Omar que se comunicava em espanhol foi cordial, atencioso e muito prestativo. As visitas contemplaram o programa oferecido e o almoço incluído foi de extrema qualidade. Ficamos muito contentes. O único se não, e que sabíamos antecipadamente que enfrentaríamos é o deslocamento ida e volta Cairo - Alexandria que sendo um pouco distante se torna cansativo, mas que realizado em uma van confortável e com a eficiência e cuidados ao dirigir pelo motorista indicado, não se tornou exaustivo.
