Our guide, Hassan, made the trip worthwhile!
Pros: Our guide, Hassan, was amazing! He was well organized and had everything ready for us the entire trip. He knew how to get us around the crowds and hit the highlights of the sites before giving us free time to explore on our own. He also tailored the trip to our wants so we weren't forced into stopping at places that we weren't interested in. He was very knowledgeable on each place we stopped and attentive to making sure our needs were being met the entire trip. The boat we were on (Concerto II) had a great staff and was well maintained.
Cons: The itinerary on the website did not match the actual itinerary so we felt there was more downtime on the boat than expected. The boat did not have much in the way of activities in the evening (there was a bar/lounge area but very few passengers ever seemed to be there). WiFi (paid) always seemed to have problems.

Great experience and awesome guide (Hassan Ashur)
My sister and I did our Nile cruise on the cruise ship, Sonesta Moon Goddess that we booked through Luxor and Aswan travel. They were very well organised. The food and the crue was great. Although our flights were delayed they improvised and our amazing tour guide Hassan Ashur made sure to fulfil all our needs and expectations. His knowledge and presentation was outstanding. He was able to keep us away from all the crowds giving us the best highlights of each sight and additional details that others did not see. He also gave us good advise on shopping. Hassan's good sense of humour,kind and patient nature, experience, outtstanding knowledge
and mindfulness made this tour an unforgettable extraordinary experience!

Amazing experience, terrific guide, a bit "nickel and dime" attitude for the boat itself
Our Nile Tour ship was called the Amwaj. The boat appeared to be one of the nicer ones, with large windows in each room but no balcony. The rooftop pool was more of a plunge pool with a 10 foot swimming area (got kind of grimy when lots of people were in it), but this seemed to be standard among all ships. Our room was nice, relative to cruise ship rooms, although it had two twin beds which we pushed together to make a pseudo queen. The one major complaint was the nickel and dime attitude of the boat. The buffets were included but all drinks INCLUDING bottled water, espresso, and of course alcohol were extra. It did include entry and transportation to all the sites but for $200 per person per day it was probably a bit steep. Our tour guide was Mo, he was very schedule-oriented when it came to our itinerary but he was very knowledgeable with exceptional English.

Great visit and amazing guide (Hassan Ashuar)
Cruise was on the Sonesta Moon Goddess. Booked through Luxor and Aswan Travel. Our guide was Hassan Ashaur. The cruise ship was lovely with great food. The tour company organised all transfers very well and was extremely helpful to sort out any issues caused by flight delays. The guide, however, was what elevated the trip from ordinary to amazing. His history knowledge was asounding and he conveyed this knowledge to us in an interesting and very patient way. Because of his experience we saw many out of the way little details and avoided the crowds as much as possible. He is avery kind person that made sure we were happy and safe at all times. He also gave great shopping advice. As he is a freelance guide you can ask for him by name when touring Aswan, Luxor or a Nile cruise between those cities. He will elevated your tour to extra special.

Perfect
Clean, comfortable. Staff absolutely amazing. Friendly, smiley and helpful. Little surprise in the cabin from cleaning stuff was very kind. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner delicious and nicely presented. I can only recommend them. Best experience on River Nile. Thanks guys.

The best tour guide we’ve ever had.
We took this trip for our anniversary and couldn’t be happier with our choice of tour operators. We have traveled to 46 different countries so we’ve have had quite a lot of experience with different companies and cultures over the years. This experience was by far the best.
We took the 4 day/3night cruise from Aswan to Luxor.
When we arrived at the airport we were greeted promptly at the arrival hall and escorted to a private car and a few minutes later our tour guide arrived. This is when everything changed.
His name is Mustafa and from the moment we met him we knew we struck gold.
So what made him so special.
First of all he genuinely looks like a professional guide. His knowledge and presentation of all the sites made everything so interesting and enjoyable to see. We knew at all times what was happening next and was always on time and helpful. If we wanted anything Mustafa made it happen. He really focused on our interests and we always felt he worked hard for us.
When we booked this trip we expected it to be another average tour. Mustafa changed that real quick and I can truly say I feel like I have a new friend after 4 days.
One thing I have learned over the years that people make all difference and Mustafa is one of the finest people you’ll ever meet.
My only regret is I didn’t book our entire trip with this company.
I can’t vouch for other guides this company uses but I would recommend Mustafa 1000%.

A fabulous experience
For our first trip to Egypt, we were looking for an exceptional cruise and we were not disappointed. A magnificent boat (L’HISTORIA) with a staff with little care and excellent food. But the best was undoubtedly our French-speaking guide Zakaria. Always attentive, humorous and passionate about his profession, he made us discover all the beauties of his country. Again thank you to him and the whole team of the Luxorandaswan agency.

3 nights aboard the MS Esplande
We had a fantastic trip organised by Luxor and Aswan Travel aboard MS Esplanade. This is a luxury catergory ship and lives upto that classification with superb service, great cabins and very good dining. Everything ran very smoothly and we were extremely fortunate to have Professor Massoud as our private guide for 4 days, he was superb. Thanks again

Superb Cruise on Le Fayan
Our 4 day/3 night cruise on Le Fayan greatly exceeded our highest expectations. The accommodation and service on Le Fayan was superb. Our guide, Waleed, was excellent and a very good communicator who was sensitive to our needs (senior couple) and very flexible. Thank you Waleed for a wonderful trip and thank you Hany for for organizing it so well.
