As per requested time will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and drive to the south of Aswan which is around 3hrs drive to enjoy Abu Simbel day tour from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Spend around 3 hours there then take the way back to Aswan.

Overall very pleased
First, the not-so-good part: the pickup was delayed, most likely due to driver waiting on the street and not in the hotel reception. The person on Tour WhatsApp number was clueless and was of no help. Thankfully the driver showed up after 15 mins. The good part: our driver Ahmed was a nice chap and did his best to communicate in broken english. The guide was quite nice too and the best part: no useless visits to shops to get commissions. Abu Simbel is an awe inspiring site and a must visit imho. Overall: will recommend!

Good price and good service through out the travel
Booked car with driver only to Abu Simbel. Usually everyone messages the previous day confirming start time but I did not receive any message and worried however the driver arrived on time and he was one of the best. The driver spoke good English, engaged with us through out the journey and he also knows lot of people right from the hotel staff, check post staff etc., the made seven more comfortable. The price is reasonable as well. Highly recommend.

Exploring Abu Simbel: My Journey from Aswan
The tour to Abu Simbel was a wonderful experience from the start. The driver was fantastic and has a heart of gold, the guide was absolutely amazing, and the food was delicious! Regarding the drive: the driver is a very kind man and clearly very skilled. However, I must give an honest warning that his driving style is very 'spirited' (speeds up to 140 km/h, no seatbelts, and occasional phone use). It’s not for everyone, but if you don't mind a fast ride, the rest of the organization and the team are excellent!

A really positive experience- good value
Good communication and price. Mahmoud our driver found us after a gps pin and was a man of few words but fast driving. 3 hours exactly cruise boat to Abu Simbel. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The cost of this trip was 1/3 that of the on board option and we could leave at 7am And have our own timetable. This worked really well for us.

Carlos (our driver) was...
Carlos (our driver) was great, and the guide Majid was lovely and very informative. The car was great and the perfect temperature, and we felt we saw the sights in the best way possible. We went at 7.30am and arrived at 11ish, and it was not busy - in our opinion, there is no need to wake up for the 4am tour!!

Abu Simbel day trip
A 3 hour drive on desert roads, with a brief stop for coffee and a bathroom break. Our driver Ahmed was very friendly and offered a lot of information about locations and local sites we passed along the way. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and our group of 6 people had planty of space. The Abu Simbel temples and tombs are amazing and I would highly recommend taking the time to do this day out.

Yeah, but no.
Early pick-up from the hotel. Good overall experience. The guide was friendly, but we wouldn't exactly consider it "private." The guide waits outside the temples and gives general explanations to all the Spanish-speaking groups or tourists who arrive. As some enter the temple, he explains to others. Like any tour in Egypt, I do not recommend closing Tours by phone apps until you arrive at the hotel and negotiate the offers (in Egypt it is common to haggle even the tours), hotels usually have very good offers and there is always availability, both in hotels and apps. Compared to what you can get by negotiating with hotels, this tour is a little overpriced.

Kerolose was a fantastic...
Kerolose was a fantastic driver! He patiently waited for us at Abu Simbel for 3 hours. The temples were amazing! Highly recommend taking a private tour to avoid the hordes of group tours that are at the site until 10am

Abu Simbel Solo Day Trip
I was unhappy that I arrived and was met by no one. I messaged back and forth with the tour director on Whatsapp and easily an hour passed before my driver picked me up. I misunderstood that the guide would be me at Abu Simbel. I guess it makes sense but I wish it was clarified. Once my driver finally arrived, he tried to make up for it by being attentive and buying me juice and chocolate. It was a sweet gesture but I did not want any of the drinks/food. If traveling solo, know a little Arabic in upper egypt, Its a bit different than Cairo. Fly into Abu simbel if cost is not an issue. I flew down from cairo and returned to cairo on the same day. It was a long day. It worked for me since I had the next day to rest. The guide at Abu simbel was pleasant and offered to take photos for me. I liked that he didn't rush me and allowed me time by myself at the end.
