As per requested time will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan and drive to the south of Aswan which is around 3hrs drive to enjoy Abu Simbel day tour from Aswan by air-conditioned vehicle. The two Temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique style, are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. They reflect the glory and grandeur of the new Kingdom. The Egyptian government and UNESCO decided to co-operate in order to save these temples from the flood. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Spend around 3 hours there then take the way back to Aswan.

Emo tours and Viator SUCKS in Egypt!!

We bought an ENGLISH speaking tour! When the driver showed up 20 minutes late he couldn’t speak any ENGLISH at all. No way in hell where we going to go 180 miles to Abu Simbel Eygypt In the desert with a driver that could not speak English!! We did not go. We feel that it was a bait and switch situation. We have asked for a refund and you will not grant a refund. YOU did not deliver what we bought and paid for. We are very disappointed with your service and product. Emo Tours lied to you and me in what they delivered. We expect a refund. If we do not we will never use your services again nor give any referral to aviator! Bill Preuss

aswan and abu simbel with aladdino

we booked a whole egypt tour with egypt portal, and we were picked up by aladdino for a day tour in aswan: we visited the temples, his immense knowledge of egyptology and their ancient language is amazing, he constantly tell us what they mean etc.. next day we went to abu simbel, 4 hour drive from aswan, all was taken care of, so the drive was the smoothest possible. thank you aladdino !

good and informative day

Simey arrived on time, was cheerful and informative about Abu Simbel. It was a long hard day but really the only way to go unless you want to pay to fly there. I felt safe

Beautiful History, Worst Guide

Abu Simbel is one of the highlights of any tourist visiting and exploring the magnificent history of Egypt. Thanks to our not so good guide who hardly cared to share any information. During Abu Simbel tour he spoke for hardly 1 min in total. Our future guides in Egypt told us about Abu Simbel later

I took the driver option

It is a long car ride, but once you get there, it is so worth it! I ride with Amir and he was a good driver

Did what it said on tin, not worth the time but drive fine,

The driver was fine, didn’t have much English but offered water and to stop for coffee and if we wanted aircon. or not. He didn’t seem too pushy to stop anywhere we didn’t want to and was ready to go when we were. Not reviewing temple as it’s for the drive only, but in my opinion probably least impressive comparing giza and luxor. The drive was great though! Quick and felt safe. Only negative was driver was eating something smelly like egg or rice cake on the drive back and it was turning my stomach a bit. We got what we paid for, 4/5.

Nice experience but tiring

From the motor ship anchored at the port of Aswan, we left at 4:30 in the morning towards Ben Simbel. 4 hours of travel, arrived at a beautiful site, but with a lot of people... queue to enter the first, queue for the sanctuary, queue to enter the second (Nefertiti), queue for the sanctuary, queue for the bathrooms! !!! In short, a lot of time was wasted on visits. Finished the visit after two hours, practically no queues!!! So from my experience I deduced that we could leave at 6/6.30am, without getting up early and enjoying the site more which deserved a little more peace!!!

Комфортная поездка, хороший автомобиль

Хороший автомобиль с хорошо работающим кондиционером, что весьма важно, когда ты едешь по пустыне. Водитель был не разговорчив, и это не минус. Заявленная в описании тура вода не была предоставлена. Это мелочь конечно, купили воду сами (правда, по туристической цене). Просто уберите воду из описания. Не понравилось, что по пути была остановка а чай-кофе-туалет, которой мы не хотели воспользоваться (не надо было). Но вот наш водитель захотел, и явно не торопился, пока мы его ждали в машине. Оценку не снижаю, т.к. плюсы перевешивают.

Good day trip

Very fast driver but we did get to Abu Simbel in 3 hours. Driver was friendly and stopped for bathroom breaks. Easy to communicate with via WhatsApp.
