Day One: We pick you up from Safaga Port by the cruise exit door to Luxor by a modern A.C. car where you will meet your tour guide to start a guided tour to visit the East bank of Luxor : Karnak Temples No site in Egypt is more impressive than Karnak. It is the largest temple complex ever built by man and represents the combined achievement of many generations of ancient builders and pharaohs. The Temple of Karnak is actually three main temples, smaller enclosed temples, and several outer temples situated on 247 acres of land. - Lunch will be served at an Egyptian restaurant then check in 5* hotel.
Luxor Temple

Evening time, we will pick you up one more to enjoy Luxor temple by night : The Temple of Luxor was the center of the most important festival, the festival of Opet. Built largely by Amenhotep III and Rameses II, the temple's purpose was as a setting for the rituals of the festival. The festival was to reconcile the human aspect of the ruler with the divine office. Then back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Valley of the Kings

Day Two: After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel to visit the West bank of Luxor. Valley of the Kings: The final resting place of Egypt's rulers from the 18th to the 20th dynasty, it is home to tombs including the great Pharaoh Ramses II and boy Pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well stocked with all the material goods a ruler might need in the next world. Most of the decoration inside the tombs still well preserved.
Temple of Hatshepsut

Hatshepsut Temple: It is one of the most beautiful & best-preserved of all of the temples of Ancient Egypt. The temple was built on three levels with two wide ramps in a central position joining the levels together.
Colossi of Memnon
30 minut
Colossi of Memnon: Two massive stone statues of the king Amenhotep III are the only remains of a complete mortuary temple. The statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone which exist in Cairo then moved 700 KM to Luxor - Lunch will be served during the tour. As soon as you finish your tour, we will transfer you back to Safaga port.

Memorable Time

We had a fabulous two day one night trip from the Safaga port to Luxor. Our driver was right at the port to pick us up and we had a safe and comfortable ride to the city where we met our local guide, Nermeena. Nermeena was one of the best guides we have had! She was very knowledgeable, pleasant and willing to adapt to anything we wanted to do. We toured Karnak and Luxor the first day and then were dropped off at the hotel for the evening. Nermeena gave us information about the area we were staying in for the evening so we felt confident going out in our own. The following day we toured the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple and then had lunch on a boat on the Nile. After getting off the river we made the 3.5 hour journey back to Safaga. These we two very memorable days in part because of our guide and the help of Egypt Tour Portal!

Excellent Tour of Luxor

We had a wonderful guide who made the experience one that I will never forget. His name is Mahmoud Nour and he was a wonderful storyteller and very knowlegable. His english is excellent. His enthusiasm about Egyptian history and culture was amazing. I can highly recomment the trip and our guide.

2 Days private tour in Luxor with HANY SOLIMAN

Great experience in Luxor visiting all the highlights with the guide Hony Soliman. He was amazing, great egyptologist, and last but not least, a great friend who can support you for everything you need. All the activities was done with calm and he’ll leave you all the time you need to take pictures and feel the atmosphere of the place you are visiting with no worries once he’s done with all the explanations. He speaks a perfect english and i really recommend to ask for him if you are interested in these activities. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Excellent Luxor Tour

We had a fabulous two day Luxor tour with our guide, Marian! She spoke excellent English, was knowledgeable, and explained all the history of the sights, answering all of our questions, and ensuring we all got fantastic photo memories of our trip. Egypt Tours Portal was good with providing email responses throughout the booking process and navigated last minute ship itinerary changes. The sites themselves are extremely impressive and I am so glad that we were able to visit them. The hotel was great, and security was very well done. Food and drinks provided were excellent. Marian even stopped and bought us water from her own money. The open boat ride to Banana Island in the Nile, where we feasted at an open air restaurant was memorable.

Exceptional Customer Service

Our guide Hassan provided an excellent two-day tour of the Karnak temple, Luxor Temple at night, and the Valley of Kings. Hassan even suggested an early morning Air Balloon flight to overlook the area's antiquities. Hassan worked late into the evening due to our ship being 4 hours late. The customer service of Egypt Tours Portal is exceptional. They always promptly returned email inquiries. When we lost a cell phone we contacted Hassan and he coordinated the retrieval of the phone from a filling stations dumpster. We received the phone this week in working order and are able to enjoy the photos of our guide Hassan and the impressive sites. The overnight accommodations were five-star.

Great experience

We took a 2 day trip from Safaga port to Luxor with flight to Cairo. At first Norwegian Cruise Line changed the schedule and we arrived to Safaga 1 day later and then our boat was 3 hours late to disembark, cutting our excursion short. Egypt Tour Portal handled all these changes the best they could considering the circumstances. Our tour guide in Luxor was Mahmoud Nour, the amount of pressure he was under was unbelievable. He tried to show us the best of Luxor in that short amount of time that we were given. He handle the situation like a real trooper. Thank you Mahmoud!!! Our guide in Cairo was Mahmoud too. Very professional and knowledgeable. He took care of us like we were the part of his family. The only disappointment was the choice of hotel in Cairo. I understand that it was the last minute change but I wish ETP could have booked something better than hotel at the Cairo airport.

Marian A (our guide) really made this trip spectacular

Fantastic excursion, covered all the highlights of the temples and tombs on an overnight tour that included swish hotel with ample buffet breakfast as well as two traditional lunches. Good value! Our guide, Marian A. was the best!!! She spoke excellent English, was very attentive, made sure we got to the important sites and explained the history of each, and was overall very accommodating, informative and pleasant.

We had an opportunity to experience a tour with Egypt Tour Portal out of Safaga, Egypt for two days to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, Our ship was almost 4 hours late getting into port and our guide Hasson Ali and his driver waited patiently for us. The meals and accommodations were top class. Hasson gave us excellent tour. He was very knowledgeable, pointing out the important sight in a very interesting. We manage to visit everything on the first day, even with the shortened time. After we finished the tour they went over and above by locating a lost cell phone and arranging for its return. We could not ask for more and would definitely recommend Egypt Tour Portal.

Amazing trip to Luxor-Loved Hassan Ali!!!

We had a memorable trip to Luxor. Hassan Ali took fantastic care of us. His expertise and knowledge was exceptional. The stories really brought the ruins to life. I am so grateful for these two days and the memories shared with my family. The hot air balloon add on was a highlight of our entire 20 day vacation. Don’t hesitate on taking this tour. So worth it!!!
