    15 minut

Entrance fees to the tomb of Tutankhamun (300.00 EGP) (optional) King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

  3. Tomb of Ramses III
    15 minut

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

  4. Tomb of Merenptah
    15 minut

In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor .Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of coursethere is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs .

  5. Tomb of Ramses IV
    25 minut

The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it. The tomb has so much colour and detail even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across the space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.

Simply amazing

Breathtaking. This was such an incredible experience. I had heard all about Luxor before but nothing compares to seeing it person and learning about by such passionate and knowledgeable Egyptologists. Ask for Handy Gad, I highly recommend him.

Amazing Experience

Highly recommend this tour vs trying to explore by yourself. I would ask for Hassan as my guide. Hassan was very knowledgeable and resourceful; and explained every bit of history in detail. My daughters (11, 10) and son (7) learned a lot from Hassan; he would share history of things which intrigue us all. He also encompass my daughters request to see something which was not part of the trip. I would say Hassan went above and beyond.

Impressive Day Tour

Just for a day we went 4,000 years back in the history. Our private driver and tour guide picked up us from the hotel at 8am. We went to visit Valley of the Kings first. The tour tickets included 3 tombs ( Ramesses IX, Merenptah Tomb & Ramesses III)but we paid extra to visit Tomb of Tut Ankh Amun. After that we visited Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and Colossi of Memnon and had a lubch on the west coast of Nile river. Then our tour guide offered us a boat ride to cross the river and went to the east bank where we visited Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. It was a long day full of beautiful experiences, knowledge about ancient Egypt civilization and culture. Highly recommend!

Very solid pick for sightseeing in Luxor

We were very glad we picked this trip for our sightseeing in Luxor. It was organized well and our tour guide Hassan was very nice and friendly. The tour covers all the basics and has the big plus of visiting the Karnak temple after spending time in the Valley of the Kings. Lunch break was at a very cute restaurant. Definitely would recommend.

Fabulous Tour of Luxor!

We did a full day private tour of the East and West Bank Luxor highlights with our amazing tour guide Khalid. Khalid was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and always did his best to ensure we had a great experience. The schedule was nicely laid out and the food for lunch was pretty good as well. I would highly recommend this tour and Khalid as an expert guide as well.

Best Luxor tour

We have been on numerous private tours during our family holiday in Egypt, but our tour with Abdul was simply the best. Every detail was executed perfectly. Our driver was very safe and courteous, the car was brand new and very comfortable. They picked us up right on time. We were able to see all the major sites in Luxor during the 8 hour tour. We were traveling with our teenage boys and Abdul was able to keep them interested and involved throughout the tour. We felt very lucky to have a guide with a vast wealth of information, you can imagine our surprise when we found out he is an also professor and an Egyptologist. His love for his country’s amazing history was infectious. I would highly recommend his tour!!!

Amazing Day with Abdul and our whole family

Abdul made our experience wonderful - often traveling with teens and keeping them engaged for the entire tour can be challenging - but Abdul’s energy was infectious and he made the entire day an enlightening and enriching experience. Our driver was also wonderful - he made us feel safer than any driver we had during our entire trip to Egypt.
