Move on to enjoy the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately from 1490 to 1469 B.C), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Later on, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor.
The Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el-Bahari, is an ancient Egyptian funerary temple located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor. It was built for Queen Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs in ancient Egypt, who ruled during the 15th century BCE (approximately 1479-1458 BCE). The Temple of Hatshepsut is considered one of the most remarkable architectural achievements of ancient Egypt. It was designed by Senenmut.
The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues located on the west bank of the Nile River near the city of Luxor in Egypt. They are all that remains of a larger mortuary temple complex built by Pharaoh Amenhotep III during the 14th century BCE (approximately 1350-1334 BCE). The statues depict Amenhotep III seated on his throne, and each statue stands about 18 meters (60 feet) tall, weighing approximately 700 tons. They were carved out of single blocks of quartzite sandstone and originally placed at the entrance of the pharaoh's temple. The statues were created to guard the temple and to represent the pharaoh's divine power and authority.

Abdo excellent driver and very professional. I highly recommend, the guide Hany Yassen explains very well, very nice, and professional. Do not hesitate to ask him to explain things to you he will do so with pleasure. However he speaks in English not in French. The tour is complete and rich in experience. I think the value for money is good. Take it all in for a unique experience.

Great experience with our guide Ahmed El Sayed who was watching us from before our arrival. It was very accessible and gave us recommendations. We waited patiently at the hotel until we arrived from the airport as the plane was delayed and did everything possible to make our quick visit to Luxor worthwhile and we got to know the most important things about the Valley of the Kings and the temple of Queen Hatshepsut.

Our guide, Mr Abdelwahad, was really kind and wonderful. I've traveled abroad a lot, but I'm the best guide I've come across. Hany Yassen was an outstanding tour guide. He was very knowledgeable with the history for the Valley of the kings and Hatshepsuts mortuary. He also told me which tombs to go to and worth the extra money and what was not which made me happy. Then he took me to an amazing place where Egyptians make Alabaster. I bought a beautiful piece. The drivers name was Abdo and he was very nice.

Abdel was truly exceptional. He is incredibly passionate about Egyptian history, and you can feel it in every explanation he gives. He didn’t just share information, he made us feel involved, connected, and fully immersed in the stories behind the Valley of the Kings. His way of explaining things was clear, engaging, and full of enthusiasm, which made the entire experience unforgettable. A special mention also to our driver, Mahmod, who was fantastic throughout the day. After we left the car, he even found my phone and came all the way back to return it to me, an act of honesty and kindness that we deeply appreciated. We couldn’t have asked for a better team for our half‑day tour in Luxor. Highly recommended.

We did the half-day tour with Ahmed and the driver Madouh. It was a fantastic experience; Ahmed is very friendly, cordial, and knowledgeable, he knows everything about Egypt’s history and is passionate about sharing his expertise. He does everything to make the experience memorable and enjoyable. He picked us up at the hotel, provided water, acted as our guide, and even helped us arrange transport from the hotel to the airport with driver Madouh. I highly recommend him!
