Our experience with this travel agency in Egypt was overall ok, but unfortunately it came with several issues.
The transportation and overall coordination with the drivers were good. The vehicles were comfortable and the transfers were organized well. We also had an excellent guide for the tours on the East and West Bank, Adel. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and pleasant to spend the day with. He even suggested that we visit an additional temple that was not originally included in the program. We are very happy that we followed his suggestion because it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. Importantly, there was absolutely no pressure from him to add this stop.
However, there were also several problems during the tour. The hot air balloon activity was very disappointing. There was a significant delay and as a result we missed the best part of the experience. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it at all because of this. The driver seemed to be in a big hurry to get us there and was driving very dangerously, yet despite that we still arrived very late.
There was also a lot of confusion regarding what was included in the package and what was not. The website clearly stated that meals were included, yet at one point we were asked to pay for a lunch. Of course we did not accept that. Additionally, the lunch on the first day (the one they tried to charge us for) was at a very touristy place and not a great experience.
Another disappointment was Banana Island, which in our opinion is not worth visiting. The program also mentioned a felucca ride, but instead we were taken on a motorized boat.
Overall, the experience was okay, but it came with quite a few problems that affected our enjoyment of the tour.

Overall good experience.
Tour Guides Sammy (super sweet and kind) and George were amazing and informative! Made us feel safe and comfortable. Please note you will not know your exact cruise line until arrival, so quality may vary from images. We stayed on “The Royal Viking Cruise” and the staff were amazing, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable with a toddler. The quality was mid range not nearly a 5 star cruise line, but clean and amazing staff. Lunch is the best meal of the day, breakfast and dinner are a hit or miss. P.S., Don’t waste your time with the WiFi it was expensive and barely worked. Be prepared to tip at the end. Overall a solid 3-4/5 experience.

Wonderful tour with wonderful guides
Thank you to Egyptology Tours for a fabulous 4 day 3 night cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Incredible sights, good food and accommodations, and excellent travel guides Samy (three days) and George (one day). The travel guides arranged for the tickets to the attractions in advance. Everything on time and very well explained. Thank you!

Luxor - Aswan Nile cruise with Family
We had an absolutely fantastic 4-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Egyptology Travel, traveling as a family, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish.
Our guide in Luxor, Adel, was outstanding — extremely knowledgeable and passionate while guiding us through Luxor Temple, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Valley of the Kings. During the cruise, our guide Samy took wonderful care of us, accompanying us throughout the journey and expertly guiding us through the temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Abu Simbel.
The cruise ship itself was very comfortable, with a spacious cabin, excellent amenities, and delicious food throughout the trip.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to explore Egypt in comfort with truly excellent guides!

5-day cruise luxor Aswan
We spent five days cruising from Luxor to Aswan. The organization is perfect thanks to Andy and Khaled for organizing everything by informing me every time. Thanks also to the two guides Abel and Sami who took the time to give us all the necessary information for each excursion. The staff on the boat are great the buffet for the very varied meal. Thank you again for this cruise

Trust and best guide
That was a well organized and amazing trip. 3 days and 2 night for 400$ each. The boat was okay, clean rooms and very efficient staff with chill ambiance. We were only 11 people in our groupe which is a good size.
But the best comes from our guide Besho, he’s a very nice person. He’s patient, he takes time to explain. Even when we’re taking time, he doesn’t pressure us. We wish we could have had him to visit the whole egypt. Egyptology travel is serious company, you can trust them (and they didn’t force me to write a review like many agencies in Egypt).

Our guide Adel made our day on the Luxor West Bank an extraordinary experience. With his in-depth knowledge as a professional Egyptologist, he not only provided a deep understanding of each individual site, but also placed everything clearly within a broader historical and cultural context. Adel’s positive energy and genuine enthusiasm for sharing his knowledge made the experience both engaging and memorable. He will without hesitation be our guide of choice on our next visit to Egypt.

Egyptology Travel is wonderful
We did the Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan, 5 days and 4 nights. We had issues with our tours and boat but there was absolutely no issues with Egyptology Travel. Egyptology Travel are a tour company and they work with other tour companies to organise your tours. At Egyptology Travel, they do an amazing job. I highly recommend them. They take care of you from the beginning. They are very clear with their messages. They are very prompt with their responses. I worked with Andy and Khaled. Both were amazing to work with.
Some of the things I hope they work on is the kind of tour guides they work with. We liked our tour guides George and Samy a lot. But, the rest weren't that great. The tour guides provided for Edfu, Kim Ombo and Abu Simbel were not that great. The other thing was the boat itself. We had our issues with the boat and informed the boat managers but not much was done but there is nothing that the Egyptology Travel could do, so I am not giving them negative points on that.
