The Giftun Islands are two islands in the Red Sea near Hurghada in Egypt. Giftun Kebir or Big Giftun is located further west and closer to Hurghada. Giftun Soraya or Little Giftun is further east.

I contacted Egypt Boats on WhatsApp and after shopping around for the best deal I found the most value with Egypt Boats for our needs. We booked a private boat for a family of 5, it cost €180 (+ €35 for island entrance fee - family of 5) for 4 hours booking. The captain and tour guide were superb taking us to an area where Dolphins regularly appear. The experience was mind blowing. Dolphins swimming around our boat in and out of the water for 30 minutes. Then we were taken by our request to Eden Island where the beach was stunning and enjoyed 1.5 hour relaxation. Both the tour guide and captain were so great with the kids they made memories they will never forget. Well worth the money spent compare to cost of group booking (€140 euros for family do 5). I will use this company again for sure when we come back to Hurghada.

Had a nice trip with egyptboats. They arranged pickup and dropoff and you'll get a captain and a guide to come with you. The guide took us to the most beautifull snorkeling areas and we even saw some dolphins.

Can’t rate this highly enough me and my family had an amazing time together from the moment we arrived with warm welcome and introduced to our guide “Bob Marley” who really made this experience one to remember.we got to experience dolphins in their natural environment gliding through clear blue waters then taken on a fun adventure across the crystal blue waters to sone corals for snorkelling and swimming amongst the schools of fish with some of the most beautiful colours before moving on to a spot with beautiful white sands

We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our driver, Mina, was incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating, and the ride was very comfortable. The boat trip was absolutely amazing — the captain and diver were excellent with the children, making them feel safe and included, and they were great company throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

We had the absolute best time we could’ve had. Mina collected us from our hotel and took us to the marina and then back to the hotel after our excursion. We got to pick the private boat we wanted and our captain, Islam, was phenomenal. We had a four hour trip where the itinerary was fully customizable by us. We chose dolphin watching (we saw seven total), snorkeling in a coral reef with tons of gorgeous fish, and a stop at the sandbar at golden hour and back to the marina for sunset. We even got to drive the boat a little in a safe environment. Two company representatives (Menna and Heba) were at the marina to meet us once we got back to check how everything was and they were absolutely lovely. If you want to do any type of activity while in Hurghada, I’d look no further than here. You won’t regret a second of it!

A great day. Everything was perfect: hotel pick-up, very clean boat, very nice guide and pilot and listening. Snorkeling in cool water (forecast a top in January) but very nice fish. Eden island is a very nice stop for sunbathing. On the way to the Egyptian Maldives (it’s true) we had the chance to see a dolphin. A plus you can put your playlist on the boat. We highly recommend

Super nice trip. The driver was super nice and helpful. The crew on board, too. Everything was very punctual and exactly as it was made out. My nephew had a broken foot and was not allowed to swim. So the guide pulled him through the water while snorkeling. Highly recommended.
