Egypt away from mass tourism
A great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, charming, warm, individual and simply loving. A magnificent history and a lively present. The most impressive thing about the trip? Hard to say. For me, perhaps, sitting on a busy street with some of his friends and drinking tea. Feeling something of the real Egyptian way of life. You won't get that anywhere else.

HUGE THANKS for the great day!
We did the day trip with a couple of friends. The recommendation came from friends who had already been on the road with Ahmed three times. We were picked up early in the morning at the hotel in Marsa Alam, drove through the desert to a breakfast stop and then to Luxor. We looked at the temples, continued to the Valley of the Kings with three tombs, took a boat trip to the Nile and then had a late lunch with Ahmed's family. The incredibly delicious food alone would have been worth the day trip. The special thing here is the real individual attention. There were four of us and we had the minibus and Ahmed as our personal guide all to ourselves. The day was uniquely beautiful and full of magnificent impressions. We have already booked our next vacation in Egypt and will probably visit Cairo & the pyramids with Ahmed. The trip cost only a little more than a standard offer from any tour operator, but was worth much more because of the individual attention. HUGE THANKS for the great day!

Very great and recommendable trip
Highly recommended, it was like a VIP trip. Ahmed took care of everything and we felt very well looked after by him. In my opinion, the highlight of the trip was lunch with his family.

A wonderful day trip!
This tour was a chance to experience Egyptian culture past and present. We are pleased to say that we had a wonderful time with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Hussien. Hussien’s family were easily contactable prior to the tour and he was able to communicate effectively with us throughout the trip. Thoughtfully, he was able to rearrange our trip a little as we were initially delayed getting to Luxor from the coast. We started off visiting the Valley of the Kings and this site did not disappoint. With 3 tombs included in the ticket price we were pointed to three wonderfully well preserved catacombs. The place itself was otherworldly and just a surreal experience to be a part of such history. Next up, we visited a local stone mason in the workers village, a nice local addition and if we’d had more luggage space, it would have been lovely to have bought some of the wears. The staff were not pushy at all and hugely hospitable. Then we visited my favourite sight, Luxor Temple - again, Hussien was able to present us with a vivid and expressive tour of this site. Then, and what I think is most special about this tour, we visited Hussien’s family home in order to partake in lunch.The meal consisted of local fresh produce; filling and exceptionally tasty. Finally, we were taken to the Nile to experience a motorboat tour of the river at sunset. This was such a calming and quiet experience to just take in how important this river is to the livelihood of those living in Luxor. Our kind driver then returned us safely to our El Gouna accommodation around 9pm. Highly recommended tour if you are looking to take in some of the incredible history that Luxor has to offer while also sampling some local culture.

Get to know the history and life in Egypt without the hustle and bustle of a large group at moderate prices!
We were in Luxor with Ahmed on December 1st - first of all: his tours may be a bit more expensive than those offered in the hotel or by the tour guides, but... it's worth it! Since you basically only experience this day together as a family or group, it's something completely different than having to walk and wait behind or in front of the other 20 fellow travelers. Ahmed responds to all requests, takes the time you need, explains things in a really detailed and interesting way and is happy to answer any questions you may have. The necessary formalities are already taken care of in advance. In our case, we would probably have had to pay cancellation fees - the "curse of the pharaoh" caught us one day before the planned tour. However, since the driver was already on the way (Yousef was also very nice by the way😊) he even sent him to the pharmacy to bring us the appropriate tablets. The next morning we decided that it wasn't going to work yet and that we would only travel the following day. If it still hadn't worked, we would of course have had to pay part of it. ...besides: who gets to know the tour guide's family and the simple life of the normal population on a bus tour? A visit to a tea room was also included - takes some getting used to, but interesting 👍 A completely different life to ours - we practically revel in luxury when it comes to hygiene, quality of living or other amenities, but do we really have it better with all our hectic pace? I don't know 🤷🏻♀️ Conclusion - If we go to Egypt again, which could definitely happen, then with Eldeak - Tours‼️😘👌

A nice trip
We were picked up at 5:30 a.m. by a very nice driver. We saw many interesting and impressive sights and took a boat trip on the Nile. Great impressions of Egypt and life there. The best part was visiting Ahmed and his family! Very courteous and great people! Thank you for the lovely day!

Trip to Luxor
We had a very good excursion to Luxor today with Achmed and Houssain. They have been leading excursions for more than 15 years and can tell you everything in German or English. They let you experience real life in Egypt and you can ask them a lot. Exactly that, and the excursion with 2.4 or your own family makes the excursion so personal. We are very satisfied and would book an excursion with him again.

A beautiful day in Luxor
At 5 a.m. we were picked up punctually at our hotel in Makadi by a friendly driver. He drove us safely to Luxor where we met our tour guide Hussein. We started at the Luxor Temple and then crossed the Nile to the Valley of the Kings where we were able to visit 3 tombs. Then we went on to the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Afterwards we got to meet Hussein's family and were invited to lunch. This was a very special highlight of the day. At the end there was a long boat trip on the Nile where we ended this eventful day in a relaxed manner. Hussein explained Egyptian history to us with enthusiasm all day long and answered all of our questions patiently. Our driver was ready at all of the sights to pick us up without having to wait. We felt wonderfully looked after and in good hands the whole day. Thank you very much for this great day.
