I’ve been to many food tours in the US and this was my first internationally— the best! Mila is an amazing educated(tourism masters)guide who teaches about food and culture of Egypt. Go hungry— it was like eating 3 meals and 2 desserts. Do NOT miss this tour as part of your travels to Cairo!

What a wonderfully organized food tour this was. Loved Magy’s enthusiasm and I was amazed by the amount of food we were able to try. My advice would be to eat light before coming as Magy didn’t hold back when it came to making us try different dishes! :-)

Magy showed me the true Egyptian food culture and nightlife! For more than three hours, we traveled through communities where ordinary Egyptians live, eating breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and snacks that are common to Egyptians. Magy also enthusiastically stuffed us with small gifts. The experience is fresh and real. It is highly recommended.

I’ve done several food tours (Berlin, Hawaii, NYC, Belgium, and more), and I can confidently say this was my favorite! Magy was exceptional, providing clear and prompt communication before the tour, during the meetup, and throughout the experience. Her expertise in local cuisine was evident, as she guided us to vendors offering not only delicious dishes but also safe food practices. Spending Thanksgiving on this food tour was truly memorable—we left feeling deeply grateful and absolutely full! Be sure to save your appetite, as you’ll get to try 20-25 unique dishes. Magy’s personable and knowledgeable approach made the experience even more enjoyable, and we felt completely safe exploring the city with her, even at night. Every city we visit, my wife and I take a food/market tour. This was certainly "the best" experience we had in such tours so far. It was like one of your old friends have invited you to hang out for a few hours while enjoying a lot of tasty food!

But this tour exceeded my expectations. Well organized, always safe and yet with a lot of lively spontaneity, Magy shows an authentic side of Cairo that you can hardly discover on your own. Magy guides you through Egyptian cuisine with fantastic dishes that you won't get in conventional restaurants. You can try anything, but really anything you want. And she knows everything about where it comes from, how it is made and on what occasions it is eaten. The whole thing takes place in a district of Cairo that stimulates all your senses. If you are not only interested in the great ancient history of Egypt and the fantastic cuisine, but also in the modern history and everyday life of Egyptians, you will go home a lot richer in knowledge. You can also ask Magy anything about this and you will receive a comprehensive, well-founded answer. Magy's enthusiasm on this tour is infectious.
