Amazing experience - lesser done activity / tour (seemingly when telling other tour guides), but well worth it if you have the t

A brilliant start to the Egyptian holiday with my father and sister for the latter's birthday. We had Megoo as our guide who, without his efforts, I'm sure this experience would have been much less memorable. From a very high level of English, to establishing a good vibe with each of the three of us, each part of the tour was delivered to ensure that we had the best experience that we could. Megoo led us up the mountain in the Valley of the Whales, where no others at that point in the day were even visiting (and suggesting where to take / taking the best photos) and toom us to the highest point on the sand dunes so that we had the smoothest sand to sandboard down away from the hubbub and facilitated dietary requirements when it came to eating. We also each had the chance to row on the lake which was a fun if humbling experience! Would strongly recommend this tour if you have the time and as a nice addition to the pyramids and Valley of the Kings!

Nice experience

What a good way to learn more about Egyptian culture and sightseeing the Oasis & Waterfall. Amr was a great tour guide, very friendly and communicative. All the program was accomplished and the jipe ride was a great & fun extra. We had a little accident, but Amr was very careful. All the tipping and the “gift shops” at the end was unnecessary, but I take it as part of the experience.

Day trip to Desert

The private tour with Amr was great and fun. We visit the oasis, lake, waterfall, desert. He gave historical information and organised it very well. I strong recommend this tour to get to know more than Cairo city.

The desert is calling… and you should go!

What a beautiful and unique place. I loved every minute of it and our tour guide, Amr, helped make it memorable. He really took care of us like a good friend :) The desert was super cool, loveeed the sandboarding. Some parts that we visited felt seriously straight out of a movie. Desolate yet beautiful. Do keep in mind, it can get windy in the desert. I left with sand… everywhere. I think you have to expect this otherwise this location isn’t for you. The restaurant had a nice shaded outside seating and despite being a captured audience, the food was actually really good. We then went to a spice shop and picked up some tea & spices that were nice. I have several stories of when Amr was looking out for us but my favorite was when we went to the spice shop. I said I wanted a coffee in the car ride to the spice shop and he said “no problem, you can ask for one at the spice shop and they’ll give you one for free”, I said “perfect”. We get there and they didn’t ask us what we wanted to drink and they gave us a hibiscus drink already so I felt a bit shy to ask for a coffee but Amr came in and noticed that we didn’t get coffee and proceeded to ask the staff for us. Thank you for helping us 🙏

Great tour with Amr

Amr was a great tour guide! He was very social and provided us with many facts about the history of Egypt. He gave us plenty of time at each stop. He even stopped and got us snacks. So far he has been my favorite tour guide while in Cairo.

Out in the sand

Amr( our tour guide ) and Ahmed ( driver) were excellence. The tour was interesting and peaceful after all the chaos in cairo. The lake was so relaxing. Sand boarding was so much fun despite we were not good at it at all Lunch was delicious don't be put off by how black the fish just peel it off. I
